Wheelchair damaged by airline staff.I…

Wheelchair damaged by airline staff.I travelled using British Airways,they weren’t much hel and tried to offer me wheelchair with one footrest,which would have been dangerous.Infairness Manchester airport staff tried their best.British Airways staff had no respect that I could not manage without a wheelchair.It seemed to be their last option and they would collect the wheelchair(which they didn’t).So had to go there in a taxi to return it.Staff justvtalked between themselves passed the issues and account of what happened into others in the team and did not seem to know what do.Today airport staff spoke to taxi driver over me and I had to be assertive and say several times that I was the person who had travelled.I found this attitude demeaning.You all really need better training and have a better idea of what to do.Trying to leave a customer with one footplate on a wheelchair would have been dangerous.You all need better skills of empathising not pitying a passenger who has a disability.

What has happened to BA Customer Service?!?!?

I chose BA over Easyjet as we were making the most important flight of our lives, to our daughter's wedding in Majorca and I did not want there to be any stress related to the flight. I now totally regret this decision. Our flight was cancelled. The alternative given was not suitable. 4 calls later and each one lasting approx 1 hour, eventually managed to get a suitable flight arriving 2 days later than planned. Missed greeting of some guests but luckily not the wedding!! Suggested that they might like to give us complementary access to the lounge for all the added stress. Apparently we were not worthy!! Made a formal complaint 2 weeks ago but not heard anything back yet.
This company does not know what customer service is. I would suggest that some of the Directors/Managers need to go back to grass roots level, get some type of education and improve customer service. I will not be rushing to fly with them again and will look to Easyjet next time as my preferred carrier.

Inconvenient site and online account

I'm an executive club member for a few years and spent a lot of time flying via BA. What can I say?

The inconvenient BA site and online account features. Now I'm struggling to change booked tickets and the online schedule shows all the dates available for booking, but most of them have no options available and lead to an error page.

Not so easy to get Bronze benefits even if had a transatlantic flight with a few across the Europe trips. Bonus collection time come to end too fast.

The world's favourite airline...certainly not mine!

Bought a ticket (130GBP) and the system must have made the return a month later. I noticed this when I tried to print my boarding pass for the return flight and had no alternative but to book a new ticket for 50% more than the whole original return flight (195GBP). I wrote to BA and asked if they could, at least refund half of the original ticket (which I won't use) and got a routine response about treating all customers the same way....ie they were not willing to move an inch.I suggested that each case is specific and asked them to review their stance only to get another meaningless and unhelpful mail. I travel quite a lot and have a Star Alliance gold card (and much better experience there) but will seek to avoid BA in future!

Refused compensation for extremely…

Refused compensation for extremely delayed flight...

They said there was air space restrictions that effected my flight... This restriction were in place 2 weeks before my flight but apparently this cause on-going problems...like my plane not turning up 2 weeks later at the airport. 

We were the only delayed flight to Heathrow and got my bags at 1am after the last train went. I was left 4 hours from home and I had to work that morning.

Flight had 1980 tv screens, food was vomit inducing. PE seats were hard dirty old and extremely expensive, with limited reclining. Staff were snobbish.

Total delay 32 hours.

Poor Customer Services

I booked a flight with part Avios and part cash, but unfortunately I had to cancel within 24 hours. I was awarded a full refund, of which I have received the cash part in to my bank account. As I was trying to book a new flight and had not received the Avios points back in to my Avios account, I attempted to call the Customer Services, as directed by online FAQs. I was immediately put on hold for a while. Once the Customer Services Agent answered I gave him the Booking Number and I explained my issue. He informed me that he could not assist me with the issue as he only dealt wiht full Avios payment enquiries. He said he would get me to the right team, and put me back on hold. Eventually, after 10 minutes of being on hold another Customer Services Agent answered. I explained the situation and he told me he could not deal with the issue and had to put me through to the Avios Customer Services team. I told him that they had just put me through to him and said they were not the correct team. He assured me that he would put me through to someone that could help. I waited on hold again for a further 10 minutes (total call time is over 25 minutes at this point). Eventually another Customer Services Agent answered and I again explained the issue, told her the history of my current call, and gave my Booking Number. She instantly told me that she can only deal with issues for full Avios payment enquiries and would have to put me through to the correct Team as she was not trained deal with this. This is exactly the same as what the other two agents had told me. I told her I was not happy to wait any longer and explained again what had already happened with the other Agents. She stated it would only be another 2-3 minutes wait. I told her I would give it 2-3 minutes and then would hang up. I actually waited for a further 10 minutes before I gave up and hung up the call. In the end I was on the call for in excess 40 minutes before hanging up after talking to three untrained and unhelpful Customer Services Agents, and I still did not get my original issue dealt with. This is extremely poor Customer Services from a supposedly World leading Airline.

On a positive it did give me the time to search for alternative flights, with a different Airline, which I never planned to do as wanted to use Avios points. I have now saved money on my journey, so thank you BA Customer Service ;o)
