Scamadviser is an automated algorithm to check if a website is legit and safe (or not). The review of asus.com has been based on an analysis of 40 facts found online in public sources. Sources we use are if the website is listed on phishing and spam sites, if it serves malware, the country the company is based, the reviews found on other sites, and many other facts.

The website looks safe to use. However as the analysis of the website is done automatically, we always recommend you do your own checking as well to make sure the website is safe to use.

    Company Review

We love consumer reviews as they are a good way to get a first feeling about if a website is safe to use or not. Positive reviews usually increase the trust score unless we suspect fake reviews. In this case we found negative asus.com reviews and the overall trust score of the website was lowered.

    Webshop Review

It is quite common that websites share their internet infrastructure (server CPU power, disc space and Internet access) with other websites. This is what asus.com is doing as well. For smaller websites this is very logical as they do not need all the infrastructure all the time. From a larger brand or high traffic website it is expected that they have their own infrastructure.

We upped our review of the website as it has been given a high ranking by Alexa. Alexa ranks websites based on popularity (how many people are visiting the website every month) and listings (how many other websites link to the site because they consider it valuable).

A significant number of positive reviews for asus.com were found on other consumer feedback websites like Resellerrating, Trustpilot and Sitejabber. The website seems to be performing well. We therefor increased our rating of this website.

The website is using internet services from 3 countries. A normal website needs several technical services such as a web server, DNS, email server, firewall, etcetera. Smaller companies by all these services often from one company. Larger websites and corporates hire these services from multiple organizations, often spread across multiple countries.

    Technical Review

asus.com is not performing well in our speed test. We test the speed of websites as it is an indicator of the professionalism of the company. Most companies take care that their website speed is at least average or even high as otherwise visitors may leave the website. In this case the website speed was lower than average. This could be a temporary setback but may also imply a website which is not maintained well. We therefor reduced the trust score slightly.

No SSL certificate could be found. For smaller websites who only share content and do not require you to create an account or fill in a form, they is still okay. For any other website this is a serious security breach as communication between your computer or mobile and the website is not secured.

BEFORE YOU INVEST IN ASUS CONSIDER READING THIS!!

Any Brand erupts from its service when device breaks down…. if company is gonna get greedy and start fooling around then I guess it will be shown doors by consumer…. same is happening with ASUS.

For Asus it’s not always nice nice for everyone, you will know it all once it enters RMA!!
My Amazon bought Zenfone is mere 5 months old and I was at my first time at so called ASUS Authorized service centre in Pune and guess what I was straight away denied any service for my device Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML (Silver, 128GB) even when it is well within warranty period.
Service staff claims motherboard is shorted due to entering of liquid but my naked eye couldn’t figure out any sign of liquid whatsoever.
I repeatedly told them that device was nowhere near any liquid source but they said it can’t be covered under warranty and they don’t do chip level repair work.... so if I need to get it replaced then I will have to bear a expense of Rs 18000/- +
Can you beat that...? A straight blow for purchasing ASUS ZENFONE.... what a mistake indeed,, an annoying experience! why would anyone invest so much of their hard earned money when device manufacturer ASUS with retailer and outsourced service partner are cheating fooling people in name of warranty.... which I see don’t even exists!!
Also lately I have discovered lakh’s of consumers outcry against how ASUS along with retailers are doing warranty fraud cheating fooling buyers by selling used, damaged, repaired devices in the market claiming new.
Whatever might be the fault in device or product,, it’s utter duty as a manufacturer to get the device up and running without any questions been asked …. as consumer gathered all courage to trust you and invested hard earned money in your product... but instead this people are asking money from customer when product is clearly under warranty.
This is how greedy ASUS along with retailers and outsourced service partners are cheating fooling people hence minting billions millions!!
I rate this so called authorized ASUS repair centre’s with very incompetent zero skilled staff... a big ZERO!!
In this high pace 21st century cost effective era where most companies moving on SMD, chip level, BGA repair re-work,, greedy ASUS busy minting money easy way by replacing everything.
I have used Smartphone brands like Acer, Motorola, Samsung, Xiaomi and LG and in two instances I had motherboard failures one with LG which they replaced and another with ACER they got it repaired,, all under warranty.
Company will only rise with an efficient level of management, support, service hence making room in buyers mind!
Anyhow I will try and reach every single corner of this huge internet cloud and my personal social network... if I am able to deter even a mouthful amount of people from purchasing ASUS then I will consider it as a small compensation for my loss and saving those from been felt cheated fooled by ASUS in future.
***FOR USE N THROW THERE ARE PLENTY CHEAPER OPTIONS.... I DONT NEED ASUS!!!
***LAST BUT NOT LEAST EVEN ASUS AUTHORIZED SERVICE MANAGER DONT TRUST ASUS AND USES XIAOMI REDMI NOTE!
ASUS WON’T BE INCREDIBLE EVER... HOWEVER IT MAY KEEP SEARCHING... NOT EVERYONE IS CAPABLE ENOUGH TO BE ON TOP!!

Asus is using low-quality technology and the service is ridiculous

#Asus is using very low-quality hardware. I have bought 2 laptops(Vivo s15 & x507u) and one mobile(Maxpro 1). Those three devices are physically damaged. One of the laptops has LCD problem and another motherboard issue. The mobile has also display issue and being slow sometimes. I have contacted the service center but they need more than 10 days to fix ... just imagine how can a professional person leave his/her laptop for 10 days? If I leave my laptop for 10 days I have to pull a rickshaw. no way.
I am using #Asus one year and recommended a few friends to use Asus ... luckily they have also issue with their device. I am totally disappointed with Asus low-quality technology and service are ridiculous. Goodbye #Asus

Avoid

I purchased an asus laptop in February, it seemed fine at first but unfortunately after 5 months of use the system would automatically shutdown without the usual warning. I later turned it on, troubleshot and searched for any obvious issues. I got feedback of no issues of any sort ran by troubleshooting, the laptop temperature was sitting around 60-62 degrees but the fans were going crazy. The laptop then proceeded to auto shutdown by itself again whilst I was attempting another search for any further issues. Came to a conclusion that it doesn’t last for 10 min before an auto shut down.
From what I have read the customer service is bad and I was told they will completely wipe my systems data, I don’t want that at all! I don’t know what to do at this point!

Faulty Laptops - Bad Customer Service

Bought two laptops from this company, had for about six moths - both of which experienced total failure of the screens, one of them would repeatedly crash when plugged in. Contacted ASUS, was told they would not repair it despite the warranty being intact. Would not recommend.

ASUS official service center demanded almost the full price of a product!!!

Yesterday night in a terrible accident got damaged the panel of ASUS PG348Q monitor. The only damage was the panel small crack. Went to ASUS official service center to get it repaired, and of course ready to pay the price for the panel exchange, but got shocked when the official repair center demanded for a panel full price of a new monitor (minus around 50-100 USD) . I have expected high repairing costs of course, but never full price of a new under warranty product !! Tried to write at official forum but you can't. I needed this monitor urgent and it's a main working monitor for testing here. Will never buy anything at ASUS. Our media company where I work put them into black list today.

Geht gar nicht

I bought a notebook almost two years ago and was happy with it, as a photographer I am very grateful for the 4K display.
Unfortunately, the touchpad did not work anymore, but at least I could operate the device with the mouse. In addition, there were suddenly holes in the metal case, more and more and that looked shabby.
I have sent the notebook for repair and when it came back the problem with the touchpad was fixed, that was nice. The technicians in Poland have completely ignored the problem with the metal case and installed a new one - my display is puzzled and constantly flashing white, small dots. This makes the editing of photos very uncomfortable.
On my detailed complaint, I have received only a meaningless, almost flaccid e-mail.
In the mail, the warranty service link was sent to me again with the noted "If you have any questions still open, please contact us again!
You will receive a link to our satisfaction survey over the next few days via e-mail.
I would be very happy if you took the survey and rate my service. "
The employee, the second level supporter, does not seem to really enjoy his job and just wants to get rid of the customers quickly.
He was polite on the phone, but obviously annoyed and completely disinterested.
I am so disappointed.
The product is good as long as you do not need to use the service.
I have to send in the device again and, as the second level supporter told me, I have to "take care of my own replacement".
I can only hope that the technicians fix the errors, not ignore or install new ones.
Bad Service.

AVIOD AT ALL COSTS, WARRANTY NON EXISTANT

I have used Asus Motherboards for years, approx 17yrs to be precise................but I will never again waste my money on there crap and will go MSi/Aorus from now on

I have used Asus for years, but after the latest purchase of a ASUS ROG STRIX X470F- Gaming (a £249 Motherboard), I will never buy one of their products again.

The motherboard was sat in my tower, as they do.......... quite happily!

This was purchased in October 2018 to accompany my Ryzen 2700X, 16GB 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance ram and Samsung 970 EVO and 960 EVO 3d NAND NVME drives

All well and good until one evening whilst using my pc I hear a kinda cracking noise from my tower. Upon inspection, i noticed the USB 3.1 Gen1 socket had completely detached from the board with the front IO cable still attached leaving exposed pins on my MOBO and killing my 2 day old £160 Corsair AIO cooler!

Long story short, Asus refuse point blank to do anything about the Strix X470F motherboard which was less then 8months old when the socket detached from the motherboard, spiking and trashing my brand spanking new AIO in the process................ w*****s basically told me warranty/exchange would only be possible if it wasnt damaged and linked me to an article saying id damaged it so its my problem!

I have raised a small claims court claim for the motherboard, loss of earnings and also for the damaged water cooler!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ASUS: ENDLESS NIGHTMARE

Please see pictures and videos on my facebook regarding my endless struggle / Odyssey since I bought my ASUS Transformer on FACEBOOK:

igor.henrique.guitar

I never came up in public to complain about any product or service and I really tried to solve this unbearable situation with ASUS. Wrote many emails, talked on the phone, everything registered. Nothing ever worked.

Out of despair and completely unhappy with these problems, I share it with you all and ask for support, so that ASUS solve my problem at once.

Since I bought my ASUS Transformer Pro T304UA, I'm experiencing manufacturing defects (November 2017). I sent it back to ASUS as soon as I could (was writing my master thesis by that time) because the second and the third problems on the list were there since always. I wrote, that I didn't even want to have it repaired because those problems are critic. Sent it back in the original box (how else, right?)
Got it back with all the problems and without the box (they said, they advised on their site to don't do so)... There were two repair attempts in total without success.
RMAs: PLB4J62313, DEBEJ61919

A "third attempt" happened when they sent me the pc back through DHL and the package was full of holes and quite damaged. So I told DHL that I wouldn't accept it. They sent it back to ASUS and, again, no repair. See pictures.

Every attempt means, of course, a long period without your pc (around ten working days). Moreover, the problems have summed up over time - five as you can see on the list.

They send your computer from Germany to Poland to find no solution for ANY of your problems.

Just yesterday I applied for one more RMA and surprise: NO SURPRISE.

I described ALL 5 PROBLEMS and the RMA, some how, accepted just 1 of them. This happened also in the past and than I called to ask what happened, because my PC had all the problems still. They said: "Yeah, you did not put this in the RMA".

Well, hell yeah I did. Just that their stupid system doesn't work properly.

I wrote them an email and I am waiting for them to confirm that all damn problem will be analysed/solved one way or another.
I would rather just NEVER have bought this PC and I would prefer to get my money back than having this PC again.

Do not buy. Warranty is useless!!

Clowns! In March we got a motherboard. It was bought by my son's dad. I'd not have touched this company with a bargepole myself but didn't know. It stopped working less than 2 months later. I paid to have a diagnostic done to make sure it was motherboard failure and it was. The CPU is fine btw. The mother board went back and ASUS sat on it for weeks. Then, when chased up, said it works. We argued this so they asked for the diagnostic report I'd had done and then we had silence from them again. Once again, after lots of phone calls and emails ( they ignore emails so don't even bother). they said the mother board was fine and it must be the CPU ( it's not). The motherboard went back to them in May and it is now on its way back to us and will take 28 days to arrive ( nowhere on earth takes 28 days) and we are no closer to a solution. I do not believe they tested it. This was not a cheap motherboard and should not have gone wrong so quickly and I believe my independent diagnostic test was correct. However I am stuck. When it goes back in the computer and doesn't work I will have to buy another one from elsewhere. ASUS do not care. Their platitudes they respond with on the reviews are just that..platitudes.

Dear Maddie Ruth O'Brien,

Thank you for your review and I certainly understand the inconvenience this may have caused, and please accept our apologies. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. ASUS provides warranty coverage in order to fix or repair any product that may stop working prematurely under normal usage. If you can, please send me any associated case numbers during your time with ASUS Support so I can do more research on the case history. I want to make sure to review the information with the Management Team to avoid these issues going forward. You can reach me at [email protected]. Your case for reference is N190756859.

Thank you for choosing ASUS!

Asus RT-AX88U AX6000 Router

Recently purchased the Asus RT-AX88U AX6000 Router.

Very quick wifi speeds (2.4GHZ & 5GHZ), cool to run, easy to setup.

Most importantly, using a VPN, the performance of the 1.8GHZ quad core in working through the encryption/decryption process is phenominal. I only lose 7-8% throughput to the web on a AES-256-CBC / SHA-256 OpenVPN connection. This only uses 41% of a singly core to do it.

Doubles the VPN connection speed of my previous Netgear R8000.

Highly recommend this product!

Hidden warranty discrepancies, useless customer service, punitive policies.

From hidden warranty discrepancies, policies which hold my property, a warranty holding customer, at ransom, completely unsure on when I will be getting a piece of equipment that is essential to my life back with changing delivery dates for a simple part that shouldn't take more than two days to ship, a customer service system that essentially just barks policy at me in response to my concerns, and after paying the fee I wasn't happy to pay in the first place, just to get my essential piece of expensive equipment that I bought off this company I have to wait 3 weeks to have a battery changed. Every one of the forms of customer service that I've tried for ASUS have been long winded and un responsive in dealing with any of my problems. I recently sent my Asus product to the repair department of this company, under warranty, with a faulty battery. I was very disappointed to be told that my laptop, with 24 month warranty still very much active is not in fact in warranty, because of over charging the device. In reply to an email I sent directly to the customer service team, after being brushed off onto different numbers and emails by multiple members of the so called customer service team, I was told that the reason that my laptop won't be repaired free of charge, under the warranty agreement, a service ASUS wilfully offer, is because the battery has a separate warranty of 12 months. After just over 12 months of use, with careful consideration for the battery life, my product should still be in warranty and this issue points to an issue with either a faulty battery or a massive underestimation in the amount of times the battery can be charged and remain in warranty. If the latter is the case it makes me wonder whether this limit where put in place to insure less claims could be made from the standard warranty on a product worth over £900. My laptop was effectively being held at ransom as, having sent my laptop in good faith to this company as part of their warranty policy I was being asked to cover costs even to get my product back in poor condition or loose my £900+ piece of equipment bought from and sent to this company in good faith. "Alternatively you can instruct us to securely dispose of the device free of charge " seems to me to be a conveniently placed psuedo-threat at the end of an email I received which overall left me with a sense of distress and unease. I highly suggest to anyone considering to deal with this company or buy one of their products to re-consider, equipment can break and decay and if for any reason you have to deal with this company's customer service team and sneaky policies it will be an un-pleasant experience.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom.
The worst customer service you can imagine.
I would advice not to buy ASUS unless you are happy to pay a lot for repair if something goes wrong.
My phone fell on the floor after just a week of using it. Display screen went black immadietely (phone had protective antishock case and screen protector). Fall was not from high distance and not of hard surface (wooden floor).
Previous phones fell like that several times and nothing wrong happened.
If you would like repair under warranty you need to pay GBP45 postage and you are not told clearly (I have been emailing them as obviously there is no number to call on the website) if any additional cost will occur as you will be notified about that after "inspection" in ASUS centre. If you do not decide to pay any "additional" charges you still need to pay GBP45 (the must be sending it to Taiwan or somewhere for this price...???).
If you do not chase customer service they do not even bother to reply to your emails.
Huge waste of time.
I do not reccomend....

battery is ok and processor is fast however I wouldn't suggest it for any one asus zenfone 3 has a lot of problems Full of drawbacks, really bad customer service, full of issues
