    I was a Windows Live Mail user and…

    I was a Windows Live Mail user and because that program is no longer supported had to switch to gmail. I really enjoyed using Windows Live. For instance, when an email was blocked it was really blocked. It didn't come into my spam folder. AND when I replied to emails a new window popped up and it was set up as a separate email, but the conversation was still on the page. If one e-mail disappeared, as happens in Gmail, only one e-mail disappeared. Not the whole message. Gmail has been losing my e-mails from time to time and these are business emails. I am frustrated with Gmail. I would like to find a better program. I remember how I liked Outlook Express, and then that was gone. Then Windows Live, and now that one is gone, with each in succession being worse than the former. I guess they think the young people will not notice but us older ones sure do. Every new operating system, email program by Microsoft seems worse than the former. Maybe someday they will start improving them again, but for now all I can see is they are wanting you to pay money to "upgrade" when in reality many of us feel it is a downgrade, yet they are no longer supporting the good programs we were happy with. Windows XP was great, and now I have to look at giving up Windows 7, which I have gotten used to and upgrade to a boxy looking Windows 10, which I will have to pay lots of money for and perhaps even buy a new computer because they changed the hardware, and then my old programs may not work on it. They are messing with us big time and now, though I have made my living by working on my computer and am seriously considering changing my career. This is overwhelming and it is all caused by the greed of these big mega corporations. They think they are gaining, and for a while they might be, until more and more people get fed up with it.

    I have had a gmail account for years…

    I have had a gmail account for years then all of a sudden I can no longer access my email which I have had set to the original password I made it which has to do with my old school so there is no way I could forget it. so I try to reset the password using my primary email address as my recovery option since it was the only option I should be given but nope it proceeds to use a phone number that I haven't used in 6 years so I call tech support no response. My friend Kelly introduce me to a legit computer Guru he helped reset password within 3days. I think people out there should know

    Often can't open my emails

    I frequently encounter problems with opening up my emails, I have to open them in another window which works most of the time. Hard to trust Gmail not to let me down as I am now running a business - it's back to Yahoo for me.

    Use a different email provider.

    Deleted my Gmail account a few days ago now and signed up with outlook. The reasons being, Gmail was too slow to load and open emails, deleted emails would re-appear in my inbox, but, the main reasons, spam and blocking filters, absolute useless and a waste of space, if you block an email it will still appear in either spam or bin. If you report a phishing email, this to still appears in the spam folder, in other words blocked email addresses can still get through, just as reported spam and phishing emails. So there is no point blocking emails or reporting spam or phishing, and no point too Gmail.

    Gmail has ZERO support. If you move overseas and no longer have access to your phone, you will have to create a new email account because their reta*ded recovery system loops around your no-longer-accessible-phone! There is no real support for Gmail, just like any of Google's services.
