The NY Times has zero tolerance policy when it comes to racism - or so they say.
They've recently come under fire for hiring Sarah Jeong, however, a person who made tweets worthy of imprisonment in other countries (including incitement of violence/calling for genocide). The NY Times defended her by lying, claiming that Jeong was only retaliating against trolls, which isn't true because she was not responding to anybody with her racist tweets.
Besides that, the paper is increasingly becoming lop-sided. They used to present all or at least multiple possible angles to their stories. But no more. Now it's just one pre-packaged opinion they would like you to swallow. In the rare instances in which they still present differing views, they never offer one that contradicts their own opinion - which is the hallmark of a propaganda outlet, not a newspaper.
I am massively displeased.
