are temperature sensitive
polishes which
are not available in a lot
of the stores

are known to be inside
nail-polish and
their toxic chemicals that
you don't
want to be inhaling I come
up and
formulate all the colors
for our line
and we come up with about
30 to 40
colors a year formulating
is a very
challenging task it is
almost like
cooking and baking
at the same time cooking meaning
that
you're throwing ingredients
together to
come up with a really
unique product but
how it's similar to baking
is that you
have to be pretty specific
when you
measure out the ingredients

I think running a small
business has its
unique challenges
especially a handmade
business where our products
are all made
by hand and it's pretty
low-tech
obviously we're gonna make
a lot of
mistakes that always
happens with a
handmade product but we
learn from those
mistakes and we're able to
work together
as a team to sort of find a
solution and
move forward from that I
was not into
nail polish when I first
started working
here but it's it's really
something that
I've learned to become
passionate about
as far as like finding
finding something
to help you express
yourself creatively
I wouldn't know what the
difference is
really between indie polish
and like a
bigger company but I do
feel like we
take a little more care in
just being
original and taking risks
where work
previously I I knew what my
job was but
I didn't always know how
important it
was it didn't always feel
like that and
it was like being here I I
feel how
important my job is I love
being part of
cert colors because it
allows me to
express myself creatively
and I love
running a small business I
love working
with local people and
having them
involved in my small
business as well so
that we are all sort of a
team and we're
in it together versus
working at a big
corporation
