search on YouTube and search keywords

vs. suggested keywords now you might

have heard that you're gonna get the

most views out of suggested videos that

means that you're gonna have a video

right here and here's the description

down below and here are the comments

down below the videos right here and

then on the right side you're gonna get

a lot of views from people clicking on a

video that's yours in the suggesting tab

so let's say that they watch this video

right here and then they see your video

and they're gonna click on your video

and they're gonna watch yours and this

is how most people get a lot of traffic

and a lot of views on their YouTube

channel and actually on my channel it's

about 60% of my views come from

suggested now I have been doing this for

a long time and doing a lot of suggested

videos and I've gotten a lot of views

from this however there is a huge huge

pitfall that I want to talk to you about

and it's gonna be incredibly important

for you to listen to this if you're

thinking about doing YouTube on the

other hand we

have a search traffic and search traffic

is basically someone will write

something in the search bar right here

and then you'll see the page drop down

with a lot of different videos like

here's the video here's the video here's

the video and then they have a little

bit of title a title and a little

description down below just like this

and this is a search traffic so if

anyone's searched how to train a dog or

how to fillet a fish or how to juggle

five balls

they will come to this search here and

find a video right here and this is

another form of search traffic that you

can get now what I've realized is that

search traffic is incredibly important

especially if you're trying to build a

business if you're trying to get views

and just have fun and engagement and all

of that you can just go with suggested

and all of that but if you want a lot of

money and you want a lot of money fast

search is the way to go now why is that

so if you've created a YouTube channel

that is a business and that's how what I

teach how to make a youtube business and

not just a YouTube channel you want to

sell stuff you want to sell something in

the description maybe that's an Amazon

affiliate link to some product or maybe

it's some online course that you found

well what's gonna happen and now I'm

gonna show you exactly the kind of

person that goes through these videos

depending on what they do so let's say

that we have a person right here let's

say we have a person his name is Frank

and Frank is super happy and it's about

Christmastime all right it's a ground

Christmas time he's thinking about hey

I'm gonna buy a toaster to my friend

jasmine so he's gonna buy a gift to her

his friend Jasmine and Jasmine is gonna

move in just a few months and he thinks

like hey I have a bright idea I'm gonna

buy a toaster for Jasmine so what he

does is he goes to YouTube and he

searches this term right here

top five toasters now Frank right here

is gonna have a huge list of

that he's gonna watch and this is gonna

be like top five toasters top 5 best

toasters the best toilet toasters under

$20 and he is gonna click on one of

these videos and he's gonna watch it and

hopefully if the video is good he's

gonna go down in the description and

pick up that product or pick up that

toaster hey I found a really cool

toaster that I can give to Jasmine and I

he's happy well what's gonna happen with

the suggested and now let's say that we

have another guy and his name is Bob and

he has a nice-looking hat on he asked is

a cool hat and then he he's smiling I

think I don't know if that's a smile or

not and he's on YouTube and he's just

browsing around he's just having a good

time maybe he's chilling out he has a

beer in his hand and then he goes to

YouTube and he just watches videos so he

goes here and here is a watched video he

watches this video right here it's

probably some cat video or some dog

video and right here is a description

once again and here is the comments down

below and what Bob is gonna do is he's

gonna see a lot of these videos on the

side right here and one of these videos

is gonna be top 5 best toasters okay

this is the video top 5 best toasters

and what Bob is gonna do is see that

he's like oh cool I need to watch some

toasters and I want to see what toasters

are cool and the best now what's gonna

happen is that Bob right here he's not

in a buying mood he doesn't really care

about buying stuff he's just there for

entertainment so he's thinking hey why

not check out some of the cool toasters

this thumbnail looks awesome so I'm

gonna go and check this out and can you

see the difference can you see the

difference between Bob that's just

browsing around on the internet and

trying to look at videos and he ends up

on this video and what happens to Frank

is so more powerful is on the web he's

searching for he's thinking about all

Jasmine it's gonna be so happy when I

buy her a new toaster so I'm gonna

search it into YouTube I'm gonna find a

really really cool toaster and then if

they have a link in the description I'm

gonna buy it but with Bob here

he's just online chilling out having a

beer in his hand I think he has a

bearing

and the least and he's just browsing

around he wanna watch this video because

he want to see what what the best

toaster is but then he doesn't end up

buying anything because he really

doesn't need it he really hasn't

searched anything into this and this is

just one example of buying toasters now

think about people that want to make

money online so this is the first

mistake that I've done in my business

I've tried to doing a lot of suggested

videos I just tried going Hamid

he suggested but then search people are

much much much more likely to buy they

are higher quality leads and you're

gonna get a lot more video or money if

you try ranking for high search volume

terms now there is a science to this

I suggest beginning started it with

suggested and then going over to trying

to rank for search mainly because you

already have an audience if you grow

like suggested videos you can get super

viral videos very fast it's easy to make

a really viral content when it comes to

these suggested videos but on search you

have to have like Authority channel

Authority and you have to have watch

time in order to rank for these videos

alright and also I'm gonna tell you a

second reason why search is so amazing

and I'm gonna show you this as an

example right here if I just sort by

most popular I'm gonna show you some of

the viral videos that's very easy to do

with suggested traffic so this one is a

suggested video make six dollars per

hour just testing websites online this

is not really a search term no one

really searches this at all the second

one like earn money just searching on

Google no one really searches this and I

want to show you what happens with these

videos compared to search optimized

videos and what we're gonna do is we're

gonna click on 90 days I think we can

see it hold on we're gonna do 365 days

and we can see it a little bit better so

what happens with these videos is they

get a lot of traffic in the beginning as

you can see right here we got a lot of

traffic from my subscribers personally

and then YouTube went crazy and there

will

oh my god this video is so good and a

lot of people need to watch it and it we

ended up getting super many views and

this is the most amount of views I've

gotten from one specific video but what

happens after is so crucial to realize

once you have this one little spike it

just goes downwards and downwards and

downwards and downwards and downwards as

you can see it's not getting a lot of

use at all if we just go to the views

you can see that now it's hitting about

400 300 400 and about between a thousand

and five hundred and I want to show you

this on another video as well which was

super popular for me it's this Google

Alerts video and as you can see with

this video right here is that it gets a

lot of traffic in the beginning it's

just like oh my god I'm gonna go to the

views here so you can see the views are

crazy like it's it's insane in the

beginning and you're feeling like ah

this video is going so well it's going

so awesome and then after about a few

months it just drops down and right here

you can see it's not getting views it's

not getting views and here I would say

that this video is dead and this is very

important to realize this is something

that happens with viral videos this is

something that happens with suggested

videos that you're gonna publish one

video and then you're gonna get a ton of

views right now right now you're gonna

get a ton of views but after a while

it's gonna drop out and being dead while

on the other hand them so if we go to

the analytics of one of these search

videos you can see a graph that's

totally different and this is the key

point right here that I want you to

realize and right here

this is the key this video is ranking

it's on the search a lot of people

watching it and it doesn't have any

spikes it just consistently brings in

people for the long term so look at this

December 2017 is when I publish this

video today

it's December 4th yeah it's one a year

so basically in the beginning I didn't

get it I didn't get any views and

then after a while because it's on the

search and because it's a good video

that people enjoy watching it ranks on

the search and I get views for years and

years probably years and years this is

gonna keep giving me views because I'm

on that search term and I'm on that page

and here I want to show you another

example five data entry jobs in 2018

this first thing here was just from my

subscribers so this was just for my

subscribers and then we went down and

what usually happens with my videos is

that it gets a lot of views and then it

goes down it's go down it goes down and

here we are literally at let's say 50

views per day but what happens when you

optimize for search again is that you

just get these amazing videos that's

gonna keep giving you views for years

and years and this is a problem that

people struggle with because if you post

a lot of viral videos you have to post

every single day or you're not gonna get

views but if you're optimized for search

you can optimize for one of the best

keywords that's in your niche and you

can get views like this just coming in

consistently for the long term so let's

say that you make a YouTube channel

right now and you're trying to hit the

suggested tab what's gonna happen is

that you're gonna get a spike right here

maybe it goes a little bit to the side

and then it drops off slowly and a

little bit of time and this video is

gonna be dead when you optimize for

search what's gonna happen and this is

the key right here this is the key look

at this so let's say that we published

one video it's gonna start off really

slow it's not gonna get that many views

but then it's gonna go upwards right

here and find a stable place where you

get views now what's gonna happen is

that once you made a make another video

that gets you views you just add on top

of this and you get more views like this

and this is the key right here and then

you make another search video and then

it just gets views right here and it

continues to get views like this and as

you can see on the time basis this is

gonna give you so much more views in the

long term while on the other hand if you

do suggested videos and you make videos

that go

you're gonna see this you're gonna see

this right here you're gonna see this

and you're gonna be anxious because oh

I'm not getting views I'm not getting

views I have to post daily I have to

post daily every single day to make

money or to sustain your business but

this doesn't happen in the long term

this doesn't work in the long term okay

and I'm proof of this I'm proof of this

I tried doing this for a long time now

and it's a bad idea it's a super super

bad idea in the beginning you do this

but in the later stages you do not do

this okay what you want is a video that

gets you views for years you do not want

a spike that gives you views for a few

months and that drops off and in five

years it's not relevant anymore and

you're not getting any views this is

what you want right here and the thing

is that depending on your subscriber

base so if you have zero subscribers you

have to tackle long kale tail keywords

if you have a domain Authority or if you

have channel Authority you can rank for

shorter tail keywords so what I'm gonna

do is I'm going to go to a tool that I

rank for so we can find longtail

keywords very easily and I'm just gonna

for this on YouTube unless you have a

lot of subscribers and a lot of

authority like I talked about this one

as well you cannot rank for this this

one too high this one I have to make

money online in Pakistan free I've never

searched this before but we can see

about that and also the how to make

money online in Pakistan YouTube and

this only has six hundred and thirty

four videos that is competing with this

keyword so that means that this keyword

is so so so much easier to rank for then

all of these other ones right here and

we can also see this from make money

online just watching videos online and

it's a little bit weird keyword but a

lot of people are searching for it and

there's not a lot of competitive

competition but what I want to do is I'm

gonna go to how to make money online

Pakistan YouTube and I'm actually gonna

go to youtube right here and we're gonna

search that into YouTube and we're gonna

see how well that keyword actually ranks

so as we can see right here this get

22,000 views from just Pakistani people

very targeted traffic from Pakistani

people and also this one has 1.3 million

views that's crazy and this one 593 K

views a lot of use in this page 26 K 489

K and with this tool I could find a

keyword that I had no idea that got

these men that this many views and I

also have another keyword that says that

if the search volume is good and the

competition is low you should make a

video about this and this hat one has a

72 out of a hundred very good so this is

a keyword that you can start ranking for

I think you have to be Pakistani to make

these videos but again it just shows you

what this tool and its ability to give

you long term keywords so I also want to

check this out right here because it

didn't really have that many

search competitions so I'm just gonna

copy this and I'm gonna go over here and

as you can see right here as well

like just look at this 105 cave use 618

cave use 110 216 and a lot of these

videos ranking really high on these

search results and look at this as well

this is very good this keyword is very

very good to do you can also check the

keywords that you can see the most views

to the least views and you can also see

that no one uses this exact specific

keyword in their title there's only two

out of 20 that uses it in their

description 2 out of 20 that uses it in

the tags and this is actually very very

interesting right here Kevin David he

asked about two hundred thousand

subscribers I think and his videos

doesn't get two hundred and sixteen

thousand views and I'm sure that so if

we go to his videos and we go right here

you can see that he's making around a

four thousand views 14-8 k7k and this

one just vent why roll just I don't know

and the reason because of this is that I

saw this keyword right here as well make

money on mine just watching videos

online make 30 per hour just just by

watching videos online and as you can

see in the tags as well all to make one

even watching videos online and there's

a reason why this one went viral

compared to other videos on his channel

and it's because he did his research and

he found out which keywords he could

rank for and also Kevin what the
