Buontempo swapped her high-end skin care products for cheaper versions found on
Amazon that are all under $15 to see what results she could get while on a
budget and if the price tag really matters.
She used a black head
peeling ghassoul face mask, Indian healing clay for deep pore cleansing, high
moisture light toning water to moisturize, Madina Black Seed facial cream, and
LIFT eye wrinkle cream.
She tested each of these
products for a week — here's what she thought.

everything
beauty and skincare related
so I believe
skincare is an investment
I'm all about
spending you know decent
amount of money
on skincare products
because I think
it's just a really
important thing that
more people should be aware
of so
typically when we think of
skincare
products we think of
spending a lot of
money on a moisturizer or
cleanser or
serum but that's not always
the case
I heard that there's a ton
of great
cheap skincare products out
there and
specifically on Amazon so I
did some
research did a little bit
of hunting and
found some really cheap
products that
are going to replace my
everyday
products they had a high
star reading
and I'm gonna test it out
for about a
week
morning and night and see
how it goes

first one there's
two products in this box
this is oh the
moisturizer the black seed
cream and we
also have this is the
cellular I repair
cream out of I think the
whole bunch of
products I'm gonna be
testing these to
kind of make me the most
nervous it's
really fragrant 'add -
which kind of
scares me
this is the light toning border
this is
basically an exfoliator I'm
not I'm
gonna be honest I'm not
that excited to
try this product I'm
actually super
nervous because this
product is the type
that removes dead skin
supposedly last
but not least our final
package
this is the Aztec secret
Indian healing
clay deep pore cleansing so
this is my
first morning trying my
Amazon cheap
skincare products with
makeup so I'm
going to do my morning
routine put on
makeup and we're gonna see
how this
lasts throughout the day I
feel like I
really need to put a lot on
this come
this is the lift cellular I
repair cream
obviously this is pretty
thick a little
goes a long way I feel like
I'm putting
on a lot following it up
with the black
seed very perfumey
moisturizer oh my
gosh this is so thin oh I really
don't
like this moisturizer my
skin looks
super dewy as if I was
using my
traditional moisturizer and
actually my
under eye concealer went on
really well
and it blended really well
where
sometimes I noticed with
the current eye
cream that I'm using the
more expensive
one sometimes I still see a
few dry
patches after I put on my
concealer but
this I am honestly shocked
I do see I
mean it's 4:00 p.m. like
you got some
t-zone oil going on yeah
but I don't
think it's anything crazy I
think like
the overall like first
impression I'm
getting from your skin is
you look super
flowy like you have that
kind of like
lit from within oh you
don't think it
looks like borderline crazy
and shiny I
would not say Gracie

this feels very greasy or
how I feel
about this

I'm going to change things
up a little
bit today I'm not going to
put on my
usual makeup I'm going to
mix this sort
of like tinted moisturizer
with one of
the Amazon moisturizers
displaying and
my skin woke up a little
bit dry this
morning it didn't feel as
dewy and soft
as it normally does at
night I typically
use like a really thick
night cream in
the winter time back to
this cellular I
repair I say it not happily
because I
just missed my normal
products my skin
just feels so dry which is
weird because
during the day it kind of
looks greasy
my opinion people are
saying that it
looks dewy

think it looks
very glowy eat to be honest
I think it
looks like fresh-faced and
natural and
like honestly it looks like
the perfect
amount of glowy well I've
been doing
this experiment where I'm
testing out
super cheap Amazon skin
care products
like literally like you
know me I'm very
into high-end expensive brands
when it
comes to skin care and
literally the
moisturizers are my fees is
like under
$10 I'm not gonna lie I
skipped the
cheap moisturizer this
morning I just I
need a break from it I just
had to like
go back to my Holy Grail
for a day to
just like recoup what I've
been noticing
is my skin isn't really
itchy
maybe I am a snob when it
comes to my
skin you know what I'm
trying to prevent
wrinkles this is like
ripping my skin
right now oh my god this
hurts look at
the clumps they're dried in
place it's
been a few hours now since
I've done the
face mask and my cheeks are
really itchy
and I don't know if it's
some sort of
like allergic reaction I'm
adding to the
face mask
so I woke up this morning
and I could
not use the Amazon skincare
products my
skin just felt still kind
of irritated
from that mask last night
and the
exfoliator I am going to
throw in the
towel I just can't use the
moisturizer
an eye cream and toner
today I'm
actually going to go back
to my normal
routine I think that I
still will stand
by
high-end skin care products
however I
don't think for certain
products you
have to spend a ton of
money the toning
water I was pleasantly
surprised by it
it worked well it did what
it had to do
so I think certain products
you could
easily spend less money and
invest in
some of the other products
so I would
probably stay loyal to my
current
skincare routine and still
purchase
expensive ones but now I
know that but
some of these products I
could just save
