what is up then just Kevin living with
that lifestyle ninja today we're going
to go over some very important
differences advantages and disadvantages
of Shopify dropshipping Facebook
advertising and Amazon FBA so make sure
you stay to the end because I'm going to
reveal exactly which option I think is
the best and how to go about doing it in
the most profitable possible ways to
stay tuned guys what is up ninjas today
we are going to discuss something very
important we are going to talk about the
big three of ecommerce and how to make
money with each but more importantly we
are going to talk about which is the
best for each individual person right
because each of these three options kind
of has a better fit for people in
different positions right sometimes they
can be used in unison and I'm going to
reveal what I personally feel is the
best option and the best order to go
about executing these things so let's go
through one by one drop shipping and
Shopify Facebook ads and Amazon FBA and
we are going to decide once and for all
which is the best so let's talk about
drop shipping first so we're normally
going to use drop shipping with uber low
with Shopify right what drop shipping is
for those who don't you know know much
about it is basically connecting the
buyers and sellers without actually
buying any of the inventory yourself so
you use a website like Aliexpress right
you to import those specific listings
when all the Express is all they are is
it's just linking you to Chinese
manufacturers right so let's say that
you want to sell necklaces but you don't
want to make the necklaces you don't
want to buy the necklaces so all you do
is you market the necklaces and you
basically connect people who buy the
necklaces from your site to all the
express Aliexpress the factory in China
ships that necklace to the address of
the person who bought from you and so
you never hold or have to buy any
inventory you buy it for $2 after you
have a sale for $10 and net the
difference so who is drop shipping for
what are some of the advantages the
advantages are a low barrier to entry
and learning curve right with uber Lo
and Shopify you can create a fully
day right the learning clear the
learning curve is very low I teach
exactly how to do that you know there's
a few more details that I will go over
in a future Shopify course that a lot of
people
and asking me to make which I may do but
you know for the basics go out and check
my Shopify video on my youtube channel
so low barrier to entry and learning
curve there's low initial cost which is
basically none except for you know the
subscriptions to over low and Shopify
Shopify you know they kind of changed
their prices from time to time but it's
normally between fifteen and thirty
dollars per month for that and over low
again is quite cheap as well so those
are incredibly low cost to be able to
create a fully functional e-commerce
store and the scalability without the
need of additional fulfillment resources
right because kind of some of the
problems that people create for
themselves or run into with their own
e-commerce businesses is the fulfillment
so if you're running an Etsy store or
you're trying to create you know your
own necklace business or jewelry and you
have to like make it all yourself you
have to box it all yourself to get all
the boxes all the tape you have to go to
UPS and ship it out right when you're
not handling the fulfillment yourself
when the Chinese manufacturer is
handling the fulfillment via e package
shipping normally which takes about two
weeks and a lot of people think that
that's prohibitive to drop shipping
which we will talk about as one of the
disadvantages but if you are very clear
in your customer service and you know
provide tracking numbers that particular
thing can be alleviated so it's not the
biggest disadvantage of the world but
the scalability is one of the advantages
you can scale very big from a
fulfillment perspective with very low
overhead and need for additional
resources so let's move on to the
disadvantages of drop shipping the
disadvantages of drop shipping are
extremely high competition right as soon
as there's a new trend whether it's
fidgets or whatever the case may be
those are immediately available on all
the Express right if it's a toy during
q4 if it's a specific type of jewelry
there's you know very advanced and
experienced fast follower drop shippers
who can get these things onto a full
live website and fully distribute it out
to a advertising network all basically
in the blink of an eye right that
doesn't mean that there's not you know
niches and you know little verticals
that you can find but for the most part
the competition is extremely high the
another disadvantage is drop shipping
for the most part is entirely paid
traffic right unless you spend a
fortune on SEO or you find an
unbelievably niche topic that you know
trends before anyone else and you
already have you know the systems and
blogs and things in place to appear on
Google searches for it you are going to
be driving 100% paid traffic so in the
example that I gave before right when
you are selling a necklace for ten
dollars and you're immediately buying in
that same exact necklace from Aliexpress
for two dollars you're netting eight
dollars but that's not necessarily the
actual case because you probably would
have to pay some amount of advertising
you know three five even sometimes eight
dollars to actually get that sale so it
does cut down onto your margin the fact
that you do need to market right that
leaves directly into our third a
disadvantage is the necessary of a
marketing learning curve right you
cannot be successful with drop shipping
without understanding deeply
understanding Facebook advertising right
at least Facebook advertising without
understanding Pinterest without
understanding in Instagram influencers
without understanding Google Adsense
right and so there's a high learning
curve to be able to you know market
things effectively and develop the
experience and I for a product that you
can successfully sell drop shipping so
let's talk about number two Facebook Ads
advantages the upfront cost where
Facebook ads are very low right you
don't have to buy any inventory you
don't have to you know setup any type of
overhead as far as a website or anything
like that there's no kind of learning
curve as far as you know the
technicality of creating facebook ad
campaigns and Facebook makes it
incredibly easy for anyone to get
started in a basic way um the speed of
success is extremely fast as well right
there's no shipping times there's no you
know need to purchase inventory or
manufacture lead times to create
products or a packet shipping from drop
ships right if you get a sale on a
facebook ad you immediately get that ad
that purchase right and the you know
hopefully that sale is generating you
more income than it costs to advertise
it so the speed of success if you're
executing it correctly and properly
utilizing Facebook Ads is quite fast as
far as the turnaround the low upkeep is
probably the biggest manage of facebook
ads once you kind of set up the
infrastructure similarly to you know
creating an e-commerce store or creating
a product listing on Amazon you're kind
of doing the work upfront the you know
the lion's share of the actual work and
you know intellectual necessity for
creating ads and things like that comes
at the beginning so once you set up
those ads and if you're getting a proper
churn where you know you're getting
sales in excess of what it costs to get
those sales right so if you're getting
twenty dollars in sales and it's only
costing you $5.00 right and your profit
margin there is five dollars per
purchase and Facebook starts to you know
learn with its pixel create you know
better converting conversion campaigns
and you know you start to create custom
audiences once you have pixel data and
things like that the you know you start
to get more and more profitable kings'
campaigns and that happens kind of
behind the scenes automatically once you
set it up so that it's very low upkeep
and if you do create like a Facebook ad
agency where you're getting leads for
local businesses and things like that
they normally pay you know on a weekly
or a monthly retainer and you know it
might take you 40 hours a week the very
first week but then the upkeep might be
just one or two hours every week after
that and you're still getting that
thousand dollars a month thousand
dollars a week or whatever it is
depending on you know the amount of
business you're bringing then Facebook
ad disadvantages so Facebook ads
themselves are unbelievably profitable
but also extremely complicated so if you
don't know how to advertise on Facebook
correctly if you don't know custom
audiences look-alike audiences how to
use you know audience insights and
Google Trends to properly evaluate
demographics if you don't know how to do
all of the advanced things right like
using pixels using event custom event
firing pixels to set you know conversion
campaigns based on purchases or view
content or any of the you know more
advanced methodological ways to utilize
Facebook in an advanced way then you
won't get the same results so it's an
extremely extremely high learning curve
sales is necessary kind of in the first
and only way out of our three main
examples right a lot of times to
properly utilize a Facebook ad agency
there is sales involved what I mean by
that is actual in-person sales so
sometimes you have to make phone calls
right I don't personally like to make
phone calls very much I don't think a
lot of people like to make sales phone
calls it's very difficult for people you
know
kind of fear of rejection and just not
liking to bother people and things like
that but when you do create a Facebook
ad agency at least at the beginning
normally you do have to kind of
establish that first relationship via
phone or in person so that could be a
disadvantage for some people and sunk
costs so with every business right
dropshipping not as much but Amazon FBA
and most other businesses in general
some costs you know the potential for
sunk costs do exist but with Facebook
ads sunk costs are much more real right
because you can have you can spend $50
on a campaign and have $0 back right if
you buy $50 worth of product doing due
diligence the likelihood that you're not
at least going to break-even when you're
buying it at a much lower price from
China or whatever the case may be is
very unlikely but with Facebook if you
spend $50 on a campaign and you're not
you know targeting correctly or you know
your ad copy isn't great or your images
or videos aren't you know at the quality
that they need to be to be able to
convert then that $50 basically just
disappears right there's nothing in
return for that and it's completely a
sunk cost so let's talk about Amazon FBA
so amazon FBA advantages obviously the
biggest advantage for Amazon FBA is the
organic traffic Amazon like no one else
in history has the largest most
passionate loyal audience to the company
like no one else has ever been able to
generate right the organic traffic that
Amazon receives every single day is
absolutely staggering and unbelievable
and just the size and depth of the
Amazon company is very it's just it's
hard to comprehend right so the organic
traffic that you're getting right
without having to pay for sales you are
getting natural sales just from people
on Amazon browsing searching for your
products and if they see it you know and
they think it looks good or you're doing
your PPC correctly or you did a product
launch in the correct way so that you're
appearing organically on page one or
your index for those specific keywords
related to your product you're going to
get a ton of organic traffic immediately
without having to pay for any of it and
with with drop shipping you're paying
for every single sale so organic traffic
is huge huge shoes low time requirements
so like a lot of these businesses the
upfront time involved in Amazon FBA is
full time when I was first starting I
was definitely working
you know 30 to 40 hour weeks but once
you build that initial infrastructure
similarly to Facebook ad campaigns the
upkeep is actually quite low so if I'm
working 40 hours a week I'm spending you
know 20 of it finding a product 10
sourcing it 10 you know figuring out the
inspection and kind of doing all the
finalization but then once it gets into
that pipeline where the product is being
manufactured by the manufacturer for 20
days right and then it shifts for
another 15 and so that's 35 days of
downtime that I can use to work on other
businesses or that I can use to find you
know new products do the due diligence
for new products potentially source to
grow my Amazon business and the barrier
to entry so your product listings
actually build equity like a business
the more and more reviews you accumulate
the more valuable that specific listing
becomes and it literally builds equity
and you become you know as you build
more and more reviews and you get more
and more sales and you establish
historical sales velocity Amazon
basically cements you into a position on
page one once you've proven yourself and
you literally just get thousands and
thousands of free sales but with
absolutely no additional work so the
barrier to entry once you do create a
product a high quality product and you
build those reviews higher and higher
and higher
it becomes harder and harder for people
to unseat your in company and you just
basically establish yourself forever
with those organic sales and that be
that makes selling Amazon accounts you
know on Empire flippers and flipper and
things like that very valuable because
the equity that your actual listings
build with the permanency of reviews and
kind of seeding yourself as one of the
first page residents so let's talk about
Amazon disadvantages upfront cost is
probably the biggest disadvantage for a
lot of people unlike drop shipping you
know Amazon FBA is not for you know
people who have you know no savings or
maybe like a person in high school or
college that just really can't commit
the the type of money and people always
ask me you know how much do you need to
get started with Amazon FBA and I
normally say you know between one
thousand and six thousand dollars when I
first started I actually simultaneously
launched seven different products with a
sixty one hundred dollar investment and
by the time that those products all
arrived I was
a thousand dollars a day right per day
within the first week so I had recouped
my entire initial investment within the
very first week of selling on Amazon FBA
but a lot of people you know who don't
have 60 100 dollars to invest upfront
may not have been able to do that so a
disadvantage could be upfront costs um a
second one would be control Amazon owns
the platform right I mean similarly to
Shopify similarly to Olly Express you
can get you know band or booted from
either of those but Amazon really owns
the platform that can change their terms
of service they can make it more or less
advantageous for third-party sellers
basically whenever they want and so you
know it's good to diversify outside of
platforms that are as controlling as
Amazon but Amazon's done a great job of
maintaining their customers
you know happiness above all else even
at the expense of their third-party
sellers so one of the disadvantages may
be control since Amazon does on the
platform the learning curve is a bit
higher than drop shipping so Amazon has
an incredibly complicated algorithm
called a nine which they use to rank
millions of different products across
you know thousands of different
categories and millions of different
actual product types themselves it has
to kind of sort out all of this data in
a succinct and automated way and so they
developed this incredibly complex
algorithm called a nine so you have to
kind of figure out a nine you have to
figure out how to do product research on
Amazon to see which products are going
to be profitable which products are not
right you have to be able to learn PPC
which is similar to marketing in any
sense which you would also need to learn
for dropshipping and Facebook and so the
learning curve is a little bit higher
for Amazon FB a but that being said
there are a lot of resources right on my
youtube people can get a huge head start
just completely for free right or you
know there's a ton of courses out there
for dropshipping for Facebook none by me
yet but people are asking me to so I may
end up doing that if you guys want me to
do that leave a leave a comment in the
comments and tell me and if I get enough
people that want me to make a Shopify
course I promise you or in a Facebook
course Shopify and Facebook I promise
you guys if I get enough people
commenting I will make the absolute best
step-by-step tutorial for the cheapest
price
anywhere if there's anything I know as
well as Amazon it's Shopify drop
shipping and Facebook advertising so I
would love to teach you guys but I
really want to know if you are
interested so let me know in the
comments if you are and I'll do that for
you and so let's talk about the most
important part right
the summary so who is drop shipping for
let's summarize drop shipping is for
people who are just starting out right
the high schooler's the college people
the people with absolutely no upfront
capital but have that hustler mentality
and are going to make ecommerce work and
are going to attain that freedom that
working from the internet gets you right
it's going to you're going to become
that digital nomad you're going to make
it work no matter what drop shipping
does take a lot of effort like any
entrepreneurial business from the
internet drop shipping is for people who
have pretty much no upfront capital and
are willing to learn how to use Shopify
over low and paid advertising to do that
Facebook ads is for people who are kind
of marketers by nature these are for
people who like to build brands who like
to write copy who you know understand
kind of the buyer psychology behind
photos and sales and how to entice
people and kind of elicit that curiosity
that is necessary for any you know
expert marketers and it's for people who
are willing to put in the time and
dedication to figure out the pretty
steep learning curve and complexities of
Facebook asks Amazon FBA is for people
who have a bit more upfront capital to
play with right they may not be
potentially paycheck-to-paycheck
or have you know zero dollars in the
bank but they want to get started in
something that doesn't necessarily
require as much paid advertising or you
know as high of a complex complexity
learning curve as Facebook Ads so the
people who want Amazon FBA want to take
advantage of the free organic traffic
that Amazon's unbelievably large and
loyal customer base brings you so these
choices just as a tip these choices are
all interconnected the best option
realistically is to do them all in a
well-thought-out way and let's talk
about exactly how to do that so the plan
of action this is the summary this is
what every single person in my opinion
should be doing everyone if they could
you know they happy upfront capital
start with Amazon FBA
because once you kind of finalize that
product you do your due diligence right
you find that home run product that is
bound to make you you know five to ten
thousand dollars profit per month if
you're doing you know product research
in the correct way which we teach in
incredible detail in you know the Amazon
FBA ninja course or you know it there's
a lot of information out there for free
if you want to just go and try to figure
it out on your own so once you kind of
do that due diligence the product
research is done you know you've
negotiated with your manufacturer which
we teach exactly how to find the best
manufacturers in the world in our second
module or in the full Amazon FBA course
you'll learn exactly how to find the
best manufacturers how to negotiate to
basement prices where your profit
margins are incredibly high right once
you've done that once you've negotiated
and gotten it kind of into their
pipeline then that means that you have
you know twenty days while they're
making it you have fifteen days while
they're shipping it that means you have
35 days to get started on another
business and whether or not you know you
have more upfront capital to invest in
Amazon FBA or you know none of us who
are true hustlers right if you're
watching this far in the video we know
that you're a true hustler
none of us artists itting on our thumbs
and be idle we are going to either you
know be building on another product
listing for Amazon doing other product
research or we're going to be building a
drop shipping business because this is
the perfect time this 35 day period
right where you can build a Shopify drop
shipping business with you know
Aliexpress and over lo you know in the
time that it takes for you to create
your products in China and get to an
Amazon FBA warehouse so your drop
shipping business will then force you to
learn Facebook advertising which is the
beauty of the you know circle of life of
e-commerce of the big three so when you
create your drop of drop of five when
you create your drop shipping Shopify
business then the only way that you're
going to actually drive traffic and get
sales and you know start to earn some of
that profit is by or is by advertising
it and the best way to advertise is
Facebook advertising so once you you
know kind of get to the end of the light
cycle which is Facebook Ads
it forces you to learn Facebook
advertising and the better you get at
Facebook Ads the more you can sell drop
shipping and then once your product from
Amazon FBA does arrive then you start to
advertise that product with Facebook Ads
as
well and when you bring extra Don
traffic to Amazon Amazon rewards you
greatly gives you a ton of organic boost
which gives you more organic sales and
the iteration you know the iterative
cycle of profit really becomes complete
you start with FBA you wait for us to
get there you build your drop shipping
business while you build your drop
shipping business you're forced to learn
marketing to you know sell your products
on drop shipping once you learn
marketing you can then apply that to
Amazon your Amazon FBA products once
they arrive and you're literally
starting to make profit on all three
fronts and once you learn Facebook
advertising you know if you do choose
you can go ahead and open a digital
agency right start advertising for low
for your local businesses or for large
companies or you know mid to small tier
companies or help friends or build your
own business and advertise your own
things you know whether it's digital or
anything but once you understand Amazon
FBA once you understand drop shipping
once you understand Facebook Ads
realistically guys the world becomes
your oyster in the online business realm
so which one is for you you know my
advice is do all three if you only are
going to choose one you know go back to
this slide and take a look
dropshipping Facebook Ads Amazon FBA who
they're for but you know if it was up to
me I would say do all three guys learn
all three because you become so valuable
not only for yourself but as a
consultant right so once you understand
how to profit with all of these methods
then you can really do whatever you want
leave the nine-to-five ground behind and
basically just free yourself forever so
I hope that helped you guys if you are
