today at the age-old question since the
beginning of time is it possible to make
money and doing online surveys will
finally be answered okay fine the
relatively recent question since the
invention of online survey sites will
finally be answered is it possible to
actually make money filling out these
online surveys and trust me I get it
I remember being younger I remember
trying to get my hustle on I remember
needing an extra few bucks and I
remember seeing all these different
survey sites advertised saying how you
could make a bunch of money just to
simply answer questions online and so
finally you can stop wondering all that
because I am about two hours of my time
and I'm going to fill out online surveys
at probably the most popular online
survey site to finally answer the
question of whether or not it's possible
to make money filling out these online
surveys and if so how much you can
realistically expect to make per hour
and after doing a ton of research on
of these sites is the most legitimate
has the most traffic the most people
actually using it and has paid out the
most money to the survey takers I
decided to actually focus this specific
video on a survey site called inbox
dollar so let's jump into my screen and
finally answer the ancient question
since the beginning of time can you make
money filling out online surveys let's
go so here we are on inbox dollars I'm
going to sign up right now with my email
so you do get a free five dollar bonus
just for signing up which is awesome but
you know similar to most of these survey
sites you get a free bonus for signing
up because that's the hardest part from
their perspective getting new people to
actually sign up which is why they
incentivize you and pay you five dollars
just to do that so you have to confirm
your email address and so after you sign
up and complete the email registration
the verification you'll see the screen
here when you log back in basically
saying congratulations you've earned
five dollars so so far we're at five
bucks now the first thing that I'm going
to do after that is fill out the profile
survey so I guess this is your
you know profile surveys so they
basically say I'll pay you 50 cents to
fill out your own profile which is 30
questions and it's basically so they can
help match you with you know hopefully
bigger companies is what they're
claiming so just fill it out your
birthday and all that stuff and so
basically go down answer these questions
all 30 of them the second thing here it
looks like something that says earning
is fun when you scratch and win so
they're getting you warmed up to kind of
these scratch and win prizes it looks
like and so we hit scratch and scratch
all these prizes it looks like we need
three of the same prize to win and we do
in fact win two cents which is awesome
okay so two cents we'll add it to the
old winning so far so all right so we
earned the five dollar bonus the $0.50
profile and then the two cents for the
scratch and win it also says the scratch
and win will get paid out later on like
hours later or something so we'll see
about that
but right now it's time to take another
survey so it says this surveys worth a
dollar so let's give it a shot and let's
see how long it takes this is no doubt
crushing my computer right now with
adware and malware and selling all of my
personal information and my email and
everything to every single company out
there who actually wants it which of the
following best describes the industry
that you personally work in what's your
relationship status single forever alone
wasn't an option so I guess I'll select
single never married next a boy had 8
marbles and lost 2 how many marbles is
the app now 6 it's an interesting
question see where they're going with
this sorry you didn't qualify
okay but here's another opportunity to
win cash and prizes Billie's spinning
wheel so now there's this one five
minutes to take a different survey for
25 cents so let's try that one have you
bought something online yes last month
ok it looks like we did qualify for this
one it says take your time because
clients often make multi-million dollar
decisions based on your answers take
your time and give well-considered
answers so if you're asked to give a
written response put meaningful effort
into it and ensure your answer is
spelled correctly
be truthful participants you know found
to find untruthful responses will not
receive rewards and the survey make
as a suspension okay blah blah
apparently a pretty serious survey here
alright let's give it a shot when you

what is the first set that you think of
you think of going into a physical store
what does the first store think think
about the perfect day for going shopping
which sites and stores will this consist
of amazon.com
you know Target Chipotle pretty much
finish off the day strong two years ago
what was your favorite store Amazon
what's your favorite store now Hamlin
okay which do you typically spend how
much do you typically spend when you
shop let's say a hundred bucks for a
shop online you shop on your phone
desktop mobile mobile phone let's say
laptop so as you can see there's a bunch
of these questions just random questions
about shopping and your shopping
preferences you know where they're doing
it what if you're doing it on your phone
or on your laptop so I'm just gonna go
through these and answer these without
going through it you know one by one
speed it up a little bit for you guys
from here on out now that we've seen
kind of what the surveys are like and
what the process is like okay so after
all of that it looks like we did earn
that 25 cents up into the top right you
can see five dollars and seventy five
cents we have the five dollar bonus for
signing up 50 cents for the profile and
25 cents for our first survey and don't
forget about that two cents coming later
from the scratch and win big right we're
a big winner so let's get to the next
survey we'll click this one right here
take another survey button and it says
this survey is worth 25 cents so let's
do this one as well
so far it looks like this one is all
about vaping so I answered a few you
know just random questions about it at
first health concerns relating to vaping
I do not vape or smoke cigarettes so it
shifts from you know vaping into more of
a if I use laptops or Smart TVs or
devices or things like that an
interesting little change up and the
same survey is now asking about the
Bible and wants to know about my
religion so it's very interesting
service so far I think you know some
large data aggregation company is trying
to connect you know between vaping and
whether or not people are
technologically proficient and then
whether or not people are religious when
it comes to you know vaping and things
like that which is you know valuable
information for advertisers and things
like that okay so we are now finished
with this survey we should have had you
know another quarter twenty five cents
into our balance but I don't see it yet
so it just says it could be credited
within thirty minutes it still says five
seventy-five seventy-five but now it
should be six so we're just over fifteen
minutes and so we'll keep an eye on that
balance here it says complete this list
and get a 50 cent bonus so I mean
there's that and we'll try to do it if
this stuff slows down a little bit but
for now let's do another survey and see
if the other one gets counted and if we
keep qualifying for these actual service
so it looks like this one is another 25
cents
all right so again we're done with that
survey and it looks like we're at six
right now so the one did get credited
like it should have so we're about a
half an hour in right now I'm gonna side
from that five dollar bonus and the 50
cent profile survey we have about
seventy five cents and half an hour so
that's where we're at right now so let's
take another survey and see what we can
get into okay so this one is also worth
twenty-five cents so we're starting to
see a trend here a lot of these surveys
seem to be worth twenty-five cents if
not the vast majority or even all of
them and they seem to take about ten
minutes on average
this one says five minutes so we'll see
if that's accurate I will say the good
news about this site so far have been
qualified for all the surveys that we
have wanted to take but of course the
the downside is they pay next to nothing
and they do require a bit of time and
effort to actually do them and as they
want you to actually be answering
honestly you can't just randomly click
buttons like a robot otherwise you could
get banned or not qualify or get
suspended all right so this one so far
looks like it's about gonna be about
politics I'm gonna speed through this
one fast forward a little bit so you
guys don't have to waste your time and
you can just see exactly how much I'm
making and how long it's taking me to do
it okay so this one I guess I spoke too
soon I did not qualify for immediately
so right away it says I don't qualify
for it but I can take another survey
that takes about 12 minutes so these on
average take about 10 minutes to do and
they're rewarding you about 25 cents per
survey now that could go up a lot on
some other surveys but so far I've only
qualified for the 25 cent one so we're
gonna come down here where it says but
here's another opportunity to win cash
and prizes
Billy's to spin and win spin the wheel
sounds fun and exciting enough you know
it's part of the process let's spin and
see what happens when we click spin the
wheel so
five sex it looks like is what we won so
we went a five cent bonus I'm not really
sure what we have to do with that so far
you know we should have about six twenty
five plus five cents plus the two cents
before and apparently that spin the
wheel bonus happens after you don't
qualify for a survey when they say take
another survey but first click here to
spin the wheels so you can only spin it
once per survey that you don't qualify
for it looks like to me and so as you
can see right here we have this
dashboard it's a survey Notification
dashboard and in that list there's all
these different surveys to choose from
so most of them are twenty five cents
this one's a dollar and this one's
seventy five cents this one is a dollar
and only ten minutes I mean most of
these seem to take longer than than ten
minutes
this one is fifty cents for only three
minutes so let's try and get these
shorter time at bigger bonuses ones real
quick and so we'll go for the dollar
survey in ten minutes and see if we
qualify for that one and that's a side
note before I forget guys make sure that
you don't use like your main email for
this or else they're gonna literally
sell your email to all these different
companies and you're gonna start getting
a bunch of spam emails and all of these
unwanted things so use like a brand new
email that you don't actually use as
your main email and another thing that
you might want to try doing is if you
are watching this from another country
almost all of these services pay
us-based people more money for actually
participating in these surveys and so if
you live in a country outside of the USA
it might be worth it to use a free VPN
right a virtual private network to
actually show your location as inside of
the USA and if you don't know what a VPN
is just Google search free VPN and you
can grab one there's a bunch of
different ones you can use for free and
you might be able to actually earn more
doing this I don't know for sure because
I actually am doing this from the USA
but I would almost guarantee that if
you're in another country Virtual
Private networking into the USA is going
to actually enable you to qualify for
more surveys and to get paid more money
for actually doing that so we're gonna
go for the dollar survey for 10 minutes
one see if we qualify it looks like we
did not qualify so I answered about
three of their questions and they mean
kicked me off so I'm back to Billy spin
and when getting to know Billy real well
here and so we'll see what we won this
time spin the wheel and see what our
destiny holds for us looks like we
didn't win anything at all some sort of
progress for a scratch and win we'll see
you later I guess what that's all about
but no money let's try this one fifty
cents for three minutes and I just
realized that Billy is the dollar bill
that's in their logo and so it's really
all starting to come together now so
what we selected for the following story
for you all right I'm supposed to take
three minutes we're already in more than
that and we haven't actually started the
survey but 50 cents it's a little bit
bigger than the 25 cent average so I
guess we'll see what happens so this
site is very very slow it's taking about
20 seconds to load each page if you
could have any superpower which one
would you want and why so I'll type in
flying because it's cool
all right guys so that three minute
survey was more close to a 15 minute
survey and we did not qualify so that
was a huge waste of time that one but we
do get to spin Billy's wheel of destiny
so we are going to spin all right so
last time we got something that we're
not sure what we even won yet still so
let's see about this time okay so
there's a little progress bar goes up
like a small amount every time you spend
the wheel and you get the scratch and
win prize so so far with bill and then
his wheel we've won five cents and some
progress towards two cents so let's keep
on going so we're in a little bit over
an hour here and we're up about six
dollars and fifty cents we're gonna keep
taking surveys here we're gonna see what
we get all right so after another 15
minutes of that survey we did not
qualify for that one either so after a
hot start of qualifying for the first
view we're close to an hour and 20
minutes in and we haven't qualified for
our last three but guys there is a light
at the end of the tunnel because we get
to spin
Billy's wheel of destiny
and it looks like we won more progress
with our scratch and win closer and
closer
we're clawing towards that two cents
that could completely change our lives
so let's get into another direction here
let's go back to the homepage let's see
what we can find this is two dollars for
this survey thirty two minutes to
complete should we go for it all right
so we've got about that much time left
so I'm gonna see if we can't lock in
this bad boy and finish strong so here
we go so after one question he did not
qualify so it looks like we're not the
right person for that survey it's too
bad and to the wheel we go but look at
that you actually don't win on that spin
it says no win so that's just pretty
funny right there a quality troll from
Billy and his wheel of destiny so you
don't get anything and they want to make
you take another survey five minutes
twenty-five cents so we got about a half
an hour left and after the survey I'm
gonna see what else they have to show
you you know show you a little bit more
of the site and see if I can't qualify
you know for when I'm owed the last four
servings and that survey was about 10
minutes and we made another 25 cents so
boom we finally got one again and it
says is gonna be in our account in the
next 30 minutes so let's try another
direction here let's actually try and
complete my list here and get that 50
cent bonus in time so we did the coupon
let's do the wash TV thing
okay there it is alright so so far we've
been credited with everything except for
Billy's five cents and the two cents
from the scratch and win but they say
those things are coming in later so
Billy I know where you live
don't try to steal that seven cents for
me so we are almost at the two-hour mark
we have about ten minutes left them so
we will pick up you know a really cool
one and then we'll do these scratch and
wins and see if we can you know get
anything from those as well so there's
other things here too and there's other
offers there's all sorts of stuff
partners you can partner with you know
their partners coupons you know you can
earn 30 dollars here so I'm gonna do a
Sirius XM
there's a ton of referral bonuses maybe
some of these are also surveys it's kind
of hard to tell I'm so they do have a
lot of stuff going on some shopping
bonuses but let's just finish up with
the surveys here since that's what we're
actually here for and let's try and find
one it's halfway decent this one says
it's 25 cents I'm the one that they're
really pushing on me but this one here
is a dollar let's see if we can nab this
one so far I have been qualified for
most of the 25 cent ones but we have not
qualified for a single one over that and
it says I've already done the survey
which is interesting so I'm not
qualified for it because you know I've
already done it alright 75 cents in 12
minutes that will do it so let's see if
we can get that one
alright guys so after answering another
few questions it looks like we're not
qualified fat so that 25 cent mark we're
really gonna qualify for but anything
over that so far we have not qualified
for we must not be rich enough so we do
get to spend one more time so let's make
this a big one guy so I hope you guys
are feeling this one with me
here we go and we get more scratched
progress so we've got about five minutes
left here a little bit less and so with
that last five minutes
let's hit the scratch off bonus and
let's see what we get and then let's
count it all up see where we're at so
we're gonna scratch this here ten bucks
probably not gonna win that so you have
to get three of these one cent 25 cents
okay one cent looks like we're gonna win
one cent and that's what we do we win
one cent so it's not bad I guess it's
better than zero cents they even let us

one cents so that our parents know that
we're gonna buy them that new house that
they've always been wanting but I'm not
gonna do that because I'm not gonna
celebrate winning one cent on Billy's
wheel of destiny and I think that's it
so let's see what the grand total is
here after just about two hours of doing
online surveys we have a grand total of
seven dollars and ten cents and that is
without the one cent that we just won as
a bonus that we have actually yet to
have credited to our account so actually
we have seven dollars and eleven cents
which is kind of interesting but that
was the grand total after about two
hours and remember guys five dollars
really about six dollars of that total
seven dollars and eleven cents was from
the bonuses that you actually get for
signing up but like I said they do have
other random ways to make money from the
site you know a bunch of referral codes
things like that but as far as actually
doing online surveys and trying to make
money from it it looks like it's about
fifty cents to a dollar per hour when
you factor in the bonuses that you only
earn one time so you know maybe you
could cruise through and crush those 25
cent surveys and make closer to you know
a dollar fifty an hour two dollars an
hour two dollars and fifty cents an hour
maybe you know or maybe you could you
know magically qualify for some higher
ones but I'm not gonna lie to you this
does not seem like a good use of your
time but if you do want to learn about a
