as you might be aware right now unless
you've been hiding under a rock in a
cave there are youtubers out there who
are making millions of dollars every
single year but the thing is there is
still room for so many more people to do
the exact same thing if you know just
we're gonna be talking about the three
things you must know if you want to be
able to get monetized on YouTube so that
you can become the next YouTube star
stay tuned alright guys so before we
actually get started if you are new to
the channel do me two quick favors I tap
the like button and stop what you're
doing right now and smash the subscribe
button as well so that you can join the
strongest family anywhere on YouTube and
if you've been thinking about becoming a
youtuber and cashing in on the monster
that is YouTube and making hundreds and
thousands of people millions and
millions of dollars every single year
then you need to know three things
before you get started so we're gonna
break down the three things that you
need to know and I'm going to warn you
right now that you have to know all of
these in detail to make sure that you
are eligible to actually be monetize on
your channel so that you don't go and
waste a bunch of time creating a awesome
channel if you're not actually able to
end up monetize it because the truth is
this even if you make just one small
mistake YouTube can completely cut you
from being able to be monetized so let's
get into it right now the three things
that you must be aware of if you want to
become a youtuber and trust me when I
tell you you don't want to skip any part
of this video because if you do you
might be exposing yourself to YouTube
chopping down the old monetization for
your channel alright guys so step number
one is you have to become a YouTube
partner so we're gonna walk you through
step by step exactly how to set this up
and then we are going to tell you about
the common mistakes that a lot of people
make that actually end up crippling them
in the long term when it comes to
maximizing your monetization and really
quickly before we actually do get
started and get into this remember that
your monetization really has to do with
what type of content you actually make
so if you are a prank youtuber for
example
generally going to make between one and
three dollars per thousand views or if
you're making videos on Facebook ads and
software and high value actual keywords
you can make significantly more than
that
$20 to even 30 dollars or more per
thousand views you want to bear in mind
that the more valuable content you
create who an advertiser the more you
can actually make per thousand or per
million views for your channel and I
know it might seem impossible just
starting out before you actually have
your channel but remember if I can do it
if I can go from zero to over five
hundred thousand subscribers in less
than two years then you can too so step
number one guys become a YouTube partner
and the way we're gonna do this is we're
first going to navigate to youtube.com
slash features we're gonna click enable
next to the monetization tab it's going
to show you here you know what we talked
about before about the criteria that
YouTube actually has you're gonna want
to accept the YouTube Terms of Service
and then you're gonna have to meet the
new criteria that YouTube recently
released for all channels that they have
to have before they're allowed to
actually start running ads or monetizing
and what these criteria actually are are
four thousand hours of watch time right
not four thousand views four thousand
hours of watch time which is very easy
to get if you're creating consistent
content and you have to have at least
one thousand subscribers again you can
do this within a week or a couple of
weeks or easily in the span of just one
month and then you're gonna be able to
monetize your channel for the rest of
your life so YouTube is one of the best
ways I've ever found to make money
online I mean it's definitely something
that you should 100% consider so after
you have the four thousand hours of
watch time and a thousand subs then what
you're gonna be able to do is sign up
for Adsense right Google Adsense is
Google's ad program and they are going
to be the people who actually pay more
creating videos about specific keywords
or subjects they're gonna be doing all
the hard work for you matching up
advertisers who actually want to show
their ads on your videos we're gonna
talk about in just a few seconds one of
the strategies that we use to really
maximize our ad revenue literally as
simple as clicking a button we're going
to show you that in just a few seconds
and so if you've made it here right
congratulations you're on your way to
becoming a YouTube superstar now let's
talk about step number two which is how
to enable your ads and we
you enable your ads YouTube will start
to run advertisements on your content
but first you have to tell it to and
also aware and when and so to do this
you're gonna go into your video manager
and you're gonna click on videos and you
want to select a specific video or you
can click here and select all your
videos now click action and monetize and
here you can see the different types of
ads you can actually insert one of the
strategies that we used to double our ad
revenue basically overnight
once we already had a pre-existing
channel was we actually click this
little button right here that adds an ad
before the video and we also add an ad
after the video and an even cooler thing
that you can do is if you have a video
that's longer than 10 minutes you can
add what is called a mid-roll ad and if
you're thinking to yourself kevin but i
don't want to add all of these
advertisements inside of my videos the
thing is you will actually get more
people watching your videos if you have
more ads right don't go crazy and add a
million ads but if you haven't ad before
and after your video and just one
mid-roll ad in your video YouTube is a
business right a lot of people forget
this you will actually get promoted more
by YouTube if you have advertisements
inside of your video and the reason for
that is because YouTube makes more money
remember YouTube is a business YouTube
likes making money business is like
making money and so if you have an ad
before and after your video checking
those boxes like we showed you and a mid
role that's gonna make YouTube a ton of
money so they're gonna have more
incentive as a business to promote that
video to more people right which is
going to inevitably get you more
subscribers for your channel and so
before we actually get to step number
three which is the most important step
of all I do want to give a big shout-out

who says so when people click on my
video if I have zero views and how do I
get seen right so that's a good question
John sports the way that you initially
get seen if you are creating YouTube
videos just starting out is you want to
make content that is very similar to
things that have been proven to work on
YouTube so if you're making content
about Amazon FBA for example go into
YouTube and type in Amazon FBA look at
what videos have the most views what are
the thumbnails look like what does the
title look like what does the
description look like and then when you
go out to create content of your own you
want to emulate that style of video you
want to make similar content you want to
make things that include the same you
know points and pieces of content things
like that you want to make your title
very similar you want to make your
thumbnail look similar you want to
emulate what already works YouTube is a
mass aggregator of information you don't
have to reinvent the wheel just go out
there and do what already works and
again guys if you want to be our next

number three which is getting paid so
now that you're monetized and you have
ads enabled on your channel how do you
actually get YouTube to send you a check
into your bank account well first of all
you do need $100 earned before you are
eligible to actually take that money
from YouTube into your bank account yeah
it depends heavily what you make your
content about depending on how long it's
gonna take you or how many views is
gonna take you to actually earn that
hundred dollars but it could take you
anywhere from a few thousand views to
even a few hundred thousand views to
earn that first hundred dollars again it
depending on what type of content you
create if you're creating prank content
for example it could take you a hundred
thousand views to actually earn that
hundred dollars if you're creating
content about Facebook ads or something
super valuable to the market then you
could make that hundred dollars in a
thousand views or even fifteen hundred
views or something very small like that
it depends very heavily on what
advertisers are willing to pay for
because that is how the YouTube
algorithm actually works once you do hit
that 100 dollar mark YouTube will notify
you and you'll be able to withdraw that
money in a variety of normal means
directly into your bank account and from
there you can automatically set it up to
actually send you to posits every single
month directly into your bank account
with and no actual manual effort on your
