The One Thing Rich People Invest In That Poor People Don’t | How To Invest Money Like The Rich
What do all rich people have in common what they do have in common is that they
all know the absolute best way to invest their time and money and in this video
I'm going to share with you exactly what this investment is and if you new to the
channel then hit the subscribe button below for more life-changing content in
my own pursuit for financial success I began to study the most affluent and
successful individuals in history I would read books articles and even
watch documentaries relating to some of the most prolific characters the world
has ever seen I read books on Abraham Lincoln articles about Jeff Bezos and
even listen to the speeches of the great ben Carson one of my favorite people to
study however was Warren Buffett the investing master and the owner of
Berkshire Hathaway I figured since he has gained as well two very calculated
investments over the course of his life studying his investment choices would
lead me to my own dream rich lifestyle as I continue to study these impressive
individuals I started to notice that they all had one common passion reading
for example ben Carson read so many books that he learned how to separate
conjoined twins and Warren Buffett spends almost 80% of every day reading
all these great individuals make concerted efforts to focus their lives
on the world's number one investment knowledge it's this knowledge that gives
some people the needed insights to do and achieve what others cannot today you
can see some rich guys buying the most expensive real estate properties stocks
and businesses and you'll be tempted to think that these people become richer
because they have money to invest in the lucrative businesses and assets but
you'd be wrong you see the asset of truly rich people isn't those real
estate and businesses the number one us at truly rich individuals have is their
mind and like a muscle they work out their minds by acquiring more knowledge
after you study enough successful individuals you start to see what
separates the rich from the poor is that those who end up becoming rich take time
to invest in themselves well the poor never do when Henry Ford became one of
the richest men in the world someone asked them mr. Ford what would happen if
I took away all your wealth to which Ford answered I get it all back in five
years since Ford claimed that he could get
all of his billions back in five years does that mean that anyone can make a
billion dollars in five years not a chance
the recent four could get back all of his wealth in five years is because he
had overtime invested in themselves through the acquisition of knowledge
that he could recreate a success need be you see unlike properties or businesses
no one can take away your knowledge which is why it's the absolute best
investment now if we know that acquiring knowledge is the best investment of our
time and money then how come so many people are still poor sadly many people
live lives full of excuses they tell you that they don't have the money to invest
or that their government is holding them back some say that it's their parents
fault the economy or just plain bad luck now if this sounds like you let me ask
you another question how many hours have you invested in yourself in the last
month you see when given the choice most
people would rather watch hours of mindless TV then invest their time into
learning and growing but learning is the key to financial success and one person
who fully exemplifies this fact is Dan Locke this Canadian entrepreneur and
multi-millionaire invest more than five hundred thousand dollars a year into his
education in the forms of courses coaching and many other learning
opportunities now this obviously is an extreme amount of money to be investing
in oneself and I would never expect you to do the same but the principle holds
true those who make money know the value of
investing in themselves as Warren Buffett says investment in self yields
the highest return which is why investing in knowledge is truly the best
investment so now that you know what the best investment is how can you go about
acquiring more knowledge well first off investing in your mind does not have to
be expensive sure you can pay tens of thousands of dollars to go to seminars
or take courses but luckily in this generation we have access to a seemingly
endless amount of knowledge for free for instance one of my favorite ways to
learn is to download an audiobook or podcast and go for a walk not only am i
exercised in my body but I'm expanding my knowledge as well for absolutely zero
cost alternatively you can find endless articles online on websites like CNN
Money Business Insider and Forbes magazine in all honesty the channel used
to obtain this knowledge is much less important than
actually putting in the work it takes to learn and with the ever increasing pool
of wisdom the Internet holds there are absolutely no excuses to appreciate just
how lucky we are to have access to this goldmine of data
let me share with you a quick story about Benjamin Franklin you see Benjamin
Franklin was a curious guy but living in the 1700s meant that he didn't have the
Internet to satiate his learning needs so you had to rely upon books to
increase his knowledge unfortunately Franklin wasn't the
wealthiest of folk so he and his friends had to resort to selling their clothes
just to buy the books that would help them grow their minds and their wealth
imagine that Benjamin Franklin had to choose between clothes and books and
most people these days can get this kind of knowledge for free yet they still
choose not to but if you were an avid learner then this reality actually works
in your favor because in life your progress and success depends on what you
know that other people don't it's that simple
if everything you know is what everyone else knows then you have no advantage
over them if however you know what 97% of people don't know it means that you
can do what they can't and if you can do what most people can't you can achieve
what they can't think about this in a business context if you in a competitor
both start a construction business but you have read hundreds of books on
construction and your competitor hasn't then you will be a lot more
knowledgeable and able to handle whatever challenges come at you
ultimately helping your companies succeed in summation the best investment
you can make is in your mind whether it's reading a book listening to a
podcast or even having a discussion with your mentor strive to be a lifelong
learner and before you know it you'll be realizing more success than you ever
thought possible thanks for watching if you want to go from the life you have to
