3 Reasons Your FACEBOOK ADS ARE FAILING




hey this is Ryan Hildreth and in this
video I'm going to show you the three
biggest Facebook ads mistakes and the
reason why your facebook ads aren't as
profitable as you'd like them to be now
whether you're an Amazon seller a
Shopify store owner social media
marketer affiliate marketer maybe you
have a personal brand and you sell
courses coaching or services I'm going
to show you how to make your Facebook
ads more profitable so stay tuned

now if you're watching this video and
you currently aren't running Facebook
Ads that's totally fun I still want you
to stay and watch because I have a lot
of training that will show you exactly
how to run Facebook ads this is one of
the highest paid skillsets online so if
you aren't running ads as we speak you
need to be ok this is literally one of
the highest income skill sets you can
acquire ok so if you learn how to run
Facebook ads businesses will pay you for
it
either as a client or as an affiliate ok
so you can go out and get businesses to
pay for it or you can be an affiliate
marketer for businesses help them sell
their products and they give you a
commission and once you crack the code
and turn your ads into slot machines
you'll see what I mean ok Facebook ads
are great when you test test test and
then get them profitable you'll be able
to you know basically turn them into
slot machines and the number one mistake
so let's go ahead and dive into this
number one mistake is not enough market
research ok and what do I mean by this
now you're probably thinking Ryan this
is super basic
of course people know market research
well I want to ask you do you know your
top 10 competitors in your space now if
you have a client that's maybe in the
Dermatology space or maybe they're a
plastic surgeon do you know there are 10
top competitors well if you don't then
you know that's market research that
needs to be done if you're selling you
know little trinkets on your Shopify
store I don't know maybe you're selling
wallets do you know your top 10
competitors you need to know that stuff
because if you don't know your
competitors and what they are doing then
it's going to be hard to build your
audiences and to build your targeting
weather like you know who are you gonna
target what are they interested in you
know what the audience is gonna resonate
with your product well the number way
the number one way to figure that out is
to know what your competitors are doing
and in fact you can go look at their ads
on a site called ad espresso there's
other tools out there you know with
Facebook
and spying tools to where you can go see
your competitors ads and see what they
are doing you know what is their copy
looking like what kind of image are they
using who are they targeting who is
commenting on their ads so you could
find all that out you can even go onto
their Facebook fan page and figure out
you know click the little tab that says
info and ads and go ahead and look at
their ads right then and there so market
research must be done you have to know
who your at least your top 10
competitors are now if you're in the
personal brand space you know what type
of personal brand do you have are you a
fitness influencer who are the top 10
influencers that are actually running
advertisements okay that's another key
thing because there are a lot of
competitors out there that aren't
running advertisements and I wouldn't
consider them your competitors because
you know the top performing businesses
online are running Facebook ads so do
your market research number two not
enough testing now this goes back to
number one because if you don't do your
market research it's gonna be hard to
test your ads now if you do do your
market research and you know your top 10
competitors then you're gonna be able to
create audiences based off of like who
to target right if you're in the
Entrepreneurship space you would target
you know maybe you target me as a
channel or my buddy Tanner J Fox or my
buddy Anthony Alfonso right you would
target specific you know specific people
in the space or if you're doing you know
skincare you would target maybe the top
10 competitors right and maybe
geographical locations you have to be
testing your ads okay that means
audiences geographical locations age
ranges interests behaviors all that type
of stuff and once you have you know I
would say like if you look at this image
maybe you're using one creative right
now you're gonna run that one creative
to maybe ten different ad sets so that
you know okay I have this creative now
this creative is running to these 10
different audiences which one converts
the best for that creative and then you
do that with your next creative maybe
the neck
creative is a video that that ad that
video ad might actually resonate
differently with those same exact
audiences that you did for the last ad
okay so you know have ten different
audiences that you're targeting maybe
spend three dollars each audience okay
so you're only spending thirty bucks per
campaign per day and then you do that
for three different creatives you don't
have to do three I usually like to do
two or three but if you're only doing
one and maybe you only have 30 bucks per
day to spend then you do it that way but
you have to test different audiences and
then obviously make that meet your
budget okay so not enough testing I see
this all the time
not retargeting this is the biggest one
these are this is where all the sales
are made if you aren't retargeting
people that have landed on your website
or people that have landed on your
website and then maybe added the product
to cart right then you're not doing your
job as a Facebook advertiser okay you
need to be following up with those
people and reminding them hey I saw that
you landed on the Add to Cart what
happened
you know this offer it expires in the
next 24 hours you know give them a
deadline but retarget them so that they
remember right you have to think humans
right we take out the trash okay that's
a common household chore that we all
have to do we all have to take out the
trash now how many times have you
forgotten to take out the trash probably
a few times throughout your whole life
right so what makes you think that
someone is going to remember to purchase
a product when they land on your site
maybe they add to cart' and they're like
you know what I'll do this later okay
they're not gonna remember to do it
unless you tell them again right just
like when you didn't take out the trash
when you're a kid your mom kept
reminding you everywhere you went hey
have you taken out the trash hey have
you taken out the trash it's just like
that so you must do retargeting ads to
people that have landed on your website
or Add to Cart okay and create a
specific advertisement for that audience
okay so those are the three quick
Facebook ad fails now this is exactly
why you're not profitable
either you didn't do all three of these
or maybe one of these has helped you out
