another video in this video I'm gonna be
showing you guys a little affiliate hack
inside my computer here and what this is
gonna show you is it's gonna allow you
to spy on your competitors and basically
you're gonna be able to see you know
when someone puts a link on a Facebook
a link in a post in general you're gonna
see how many clicks that link has so if
you're doing a YouTube video you're
trying to rank for a keyword you want to
see how much traffic you can expect
officer mounted views all you have to do
is look at your competitors see how many
clicks they're getting and based off
that you can kind of see how many sales
you're expecting to get as well so I'm
gonna go into my computer show you guys
just a little hack it's not gonna be a
long video but it's just something
really cool I thought I'd show you guys
so with that being said let's get
straight into the video heroin welcome
to the video inside of my computer so I
just want to show you this quick little
hack so you can actually track and see
how many clicks your competitors are
getting on their links so it was around
a week ago I was doing just some
competition research and I was just
doing it inside of different Facebook
groups and what you'll notice is like
most groups have some type in URL
shortener so it's either like a bitly
link or a Google link something like
that right so they have some type of URL
shortener so so I kind of thought to
myself I was like okay I wonder if I can
see how many clicks this link has that
way I know how much traffic they're
getting from that Facebook group or from
this ad or from this YouTube video with
that link in the description so I was
trying to figure out different ways to
see how many clicks it has and I found a
really cool way to do that all right so
I just want to show you guys that today
again nothing too crazy but I did feel
like this video and this little hack
would be valuable to you guys so you can
use it for your own business right so if
you go inside of Facebook right you go
inside you're trying to do some
competition research for example we can
go in a page like final word working
right and we can go and spy on their ads
so we can go to info and ads and we can
look through their different ad so what
you want to do is you want to look for
links right so there's no links in this
no links for this let's see if this one
has a link okay right here so so start
your free trial now bitly link alright
so if you want to see how many clicks
this bitly link has from this ad all you
have to do is just copy the link so you
can right-click on it press copy link
address and then simply just paste it
into the browser and once you paste it
in all you have to do is put a plus sign
right just put a plus sign and then
press Enter and then it's gonna show you
how many clicks this link has and give
you all the data behind their actual
link alright so I just thought this was
super helpful to kind of when you're
doing competition research being able to
see doing for them like based off the
different call of actions they put on
their ads based off the different things
they talk about you can see which links
are getting the best click to rate you
can see which links are getting the most
clicks right and you can also see like
if I actually go to this link let's say
this link had like a thirty thousand
clicks I would know that this if I
actually go to the link it's probably a
pretty successful landing page or a
pretty successful funnel because
otherwise they want to change it but
they keep on sending clicks there so
that's like another thing you can do and
that's the main reason I was looking at
it so you're just able to see kind of
like how many clicks it gets on each day
kind of where the traffic is coming some
from so Facebook or email which
countries is coming from and for example
let's say you're going on Clickbank
right you just search for the most
popular products so let me just sort
this by gravity or something so let's
say we find the red tea detox right so
let's say you're gonna promote this
product on YouTube you're gonna make a
review YouTube video review on the red
tea detox maybe you can buy the product
or just get your thoughts based off the
sales page in the testimonials right so
you're doing some type of review off a
video so what you can do is I can go
type in red tea detox review and I can
see everyone else's video okay so I can
see this one was just posted two days
ago or this one was posted eleven months
ago has thirteen thousand views so let's
look at the one from two days ago so let
me just click on this
all right so now we can do is you can go
in the description and you can see this
lady has a bitly link so now I want to
see let's let's see if she's made any
sales from this video we can actually
see that right now so just put in the
plus sign copy the link press ENTER and
you can she and you can see she has
around seven clicks okay so seven clicks
from this YouTube video so not the best
I've ever seen I don't know if some of
these views are fake because that's
pretty low I would probably expect it to
be more around like I don't know around
fifty clicks that would be that would
make sense more so maybe that means like
yeah her heard title was pretty click
baby right it says don't buy it until
you see this but maybe her video wasn't
that valuable and she didn't have a good
call to action and can see and return to
that she only got seven clicks from the
link so if we go on another video let's
see remember it has to be either like a
bitly or a Google link if it's just like
a regular domain unfortunately you can't
see that data but most affiliates out
there use Bayley links so that's why
this works so good alright so let's see
if we can find one with the bitly link
so let's try this one alright so let me
just pause the video and it's actually
funny because I know this video they
just kind of downloaded it from the
sales page and this video is it actually
real but they're still got a lot of
views right 12,000 views just from
posting the video pretty much they've
even baked it right so let's see show
more and it's kind of weird that has
zero comments and only eighty-three
likes but 12,000 views so so this one's
a little weird so there might not be
that many clicks on here let's go ahead
and see so I'm just going to copy this
like I said and then you're just going
to paste it into the browser but the
plus sign press enter and we can see
this one has around ninety clicks
alright so if someone's watching this
video right they're probably interested
in this product they're typing in review
they want to see what it's about
made from literally just downloading
someone's video uploading it to a
channel so you know there's no reason
you can't make a Betty a better video do
the same thing so there's kind of no
reason you can't make like a better
video and do the exact same thing and
maybe make 100 bucks or whatever you
know so again there's gonna be all kinds
of different ways to actually use this
but I wanted to just show you guys this
little affiliate hack on being able to
spy on how much traffic your competitors
have whether it's in a Facebook post
whether it's in a Facebook ad and any
time you see an ad on your Facebook wall
or Instagram feed if they have a bitly
link go look at the data see how many
clicks they're getting and kind of see
how that ad or how that funnel is
working for them because if it has a ton
of clicks like I said probably means
it's working for them because they're
not changing it right so anyways that's

show you guys this little hack and

own business if you ever want to spy on
how much traffic your competitors are
