keep us simple for beginners affiliate
marketing all that stuff I think a lot
of people overthink affiliate marketing
how it works and they just kind of
overwhelm themselves and never get real
results because they're not taking
action because they're thinking about
too much and you know I know this
because I did the same exact thing when
I was starting out you know two years
ago okay so what I'm gonna do is I'm
gonna go ahead and sit down right here
I'm just gonna talk about my exact
strategy I would use for affiliate
marketing in 2018 okay and you guys can
follow the strategy I think this is the
best way to do it this is why I teach in
my course and everything so basically
I'm just gonna give you like five to
seven to Philly marketing tips and kind
of ways to actually go about Philly
the best way to utilize them okay so

all right what's up guys welcome back to
the video so like I said in this video I
can't give you guys kind of my strategy
I would go about absolutely marketing
right now and just kind of give you guys
some tips along the way so the first
thing I have to say is I think a lot of
people need to follow you know the kiss
of acronym okay keep it simple stupid
okay so you got to keep it simple okay
don't worry think it I think a lot of
people overthink in it and they
overwhelm themselves kind of like you
know because I feel like marketing kind
of complicated cuz you got hold of
funnels the email marketing should I use
messenger Buster's instead what traffic
routes should I go about should I do a
niche site do should I do a YouTube
channel all that different stuff okay so
I know it can be confusing but you just
gotta you know cut and make a plan that
it's gonna work best for you and your
niche okay because remember not every
niche you can do a certain strategy okay
every niche is going to be different so
you got to keep that in mind as well but
basically in this video I'm gonna give
you guys have a simplified strategy kind
of what I do starting out from scratch
with a niche or weber so first off you
obviously need to pick a niche you need
to find some products you want to
promote you need to kind of spy on your
competition do a lot of research kind of
see what kind of content is being put
out what kind of problems people are
having in that niche what are their
desires what are their questions you
need to know all that stuff okay what
products are the best parts for them and
what products relate specifically with
what problems they're having okay so you
really gotta hone in and get specific on
stuff like for example viewer in the
fitness niche and promoting a fitness of
product you need to realize that there's
different types of fitness okay do they
just want poor Fitness do they want to
look lean or do they want to get more
buff or do they just want to lose weight
so there's multiple different types of
things that have got parks that go along
with this you new really need to realize
your niche and everything so once you do
the research you pick your niche you got
all the products down the next thing you
need to do is pick kind of the traffic
strategy and the converting strategy
you're gonna go about okay because
that's kind of what goes down with it is
getting traffic building trust with that
traffic and then converting that traffic
into a sale that's really all it is okay
so now I want
go over into traffic okay so meet
personally and you know some people
disagree with this some people don't any
which is pletely fine but this is what I
see most valuing okay this is what I see
is the best for beginners even the best
for like intermediate people with online
marketing and just like overall this is
gonna be the thing that I think is gonna
work best for you especially if you
don't have a lot of money starting out
okay and what that is is starting with
free traffic
okay and I know like some people hate on
free traffic some people like free
traffic I personally love free traffic
it's great when you can like not worry
about you know how it's your Atzmon and
split testing all these different things
and just you know have elites come in to
kind of on passive and they can
literally just go through your email
sequence go through all your funnels and
stuff and that's how you make money
passively okay so I really like that
aspect of free traffic now a lot of
people get the wrong misconception okay
don't just use free traffic use pay
traffic to okay use pay traffic to scale
alright and you see all the big guys
okay you see Alex Becker Tai Lopez you
know even like you know the big
ketogenic people the big Fiat Fitness
people they're all using free traffic
they're all using Instagram they're all
using YouTube they're all using blogs
are all using facebook groups gay so all
using Facebook pages and you know
retargeting people that engage with
their Facebook post okay so this is how
it works again you gotta use free
traffic and retarget and use that free
traffic to make you know customized just
look like artists through Facebook and
Google and then basically your pay
traffic is gonna not only convert way
better but it's also going to be way
cheaper versus if you're just throwing
out with paid traffic you're gonna need
a ton of money to start out and testing
all this different stuff especially if
it's no one even knows about you or your
brand or anything like that okay so you
want to start with free traffic okay so
basically to kind of simplify it even
more of you guys start with you chuck
okay start using YouTube or Google or
maybe you want to go the core traffic
route or maybe you want to use Facebook
groups in Instagram or Facebook pages or
Facebook profile and then I
just started using this free traffic
strategy through Facebook pages
specifically and I know it teaches a lot
about Facebook groups and faces of
personal profile but there is a strategy
I'm utilizing using Facebook pages and
retargeting you guys do one a video on
that comment Facebook below and give
this video a thumbs up so I know you
want that video and I'll make it
sometime next week okay but anyways
going back to what I was saying is you
want to have like some type of free
traffic strategy whether it's YouTube
Google Korra you know Facebook Instagram
whatever okay so I do you mind if you
ask to give what's the best free traffic
strategy now if there's not really
there's not really like the best it
really just depends on for one your
skill sets
number two the one you see most value in
and number three the one that is gonna
work best for your niche case that's
where it comes down to competition
research seeing what works best seeing
where the most demand is for that
particular niche because you know some
some niches going Facebook groups might
not exist for that niche okay so that's
an example I'm more like for Google some
niches like for like a blog some niches
they might be way too competitive so you
might have to go into a sub niche okay
or a sub sub niche okay you know to
start rank for really long keyword
specific to those people but you know it
though if you go that specific it might
not have enough demand on Google but
maybe has enough demand on YouTube okay
so maybe YouTube would be better for you
maybe you see it's a lot of demand like
for people asking questions on a niche
but not a lot of supply so you can take
advantage of that okay so you kind of
gotta look for opportunities inside your
niche and kind of realize okay what's
gonna work best for you
what can you stick out the most what you
like doing the most if you hate right
and don't do a blog if you hate making
videos don't do YouTube channel okay
although I've recommend it because
YouTube you can connect with your
audience better and you know it doesn't
have to be personal brand it could be
any niche you want really okay so that's
the next thing I would say is just kind
of pick kind of what platform you want
to use and for free traffic and all that
stuff and kind of and really it's kind
of what content you want to put out how
you're gonna help your audience what
questions they have what problems are
having
content relative to their questions that
way they'll come find you through your
content and that's how you're going to
get them on your email list on your
Mester bottleless and kind of build up
that trust through their okay once you
start doing that eventually you're gonna
have enough pixel hits on your Thank You
page or your landing page okay so you
want to make sure you put a Facebook
pixel on that stuff or if you're
collecting emails that once you get like
500 emails you can upload that email
list to Facebook okay and then what
Facebook is gonna do is they're gonna
put that in the customer name so now you
have 500 people in the custom audience
for one you can retarget and then number
two you can use that custom audience to
make a look-alike audience on Facebook
so now you have way more targeted
traffic that's gonna be way more
specific to what you're selling and what
you're putting out okay so just kind of
realize that - especially if you can
retarget people that engage with your
brand they're gonna be way cheaper like
I said before they're gonna be way
cheaper they can convert way higher okay
so you're gonna have if you're kind of
beginner ads this will still work for
you because it's gonna be way way easier
you're putting us you're putting
yourself way ahead of the competition
that is kind of just going trying to go
the easy route and just trying to go for
pay traffic to sale okay and just not
using it just not doing any of the hard
work I know pay traffic is really hard
work and those who do it successfully
they work all day kids are split testing
all their different things but the
people who just go into pace traffic
thinking it'll be easy they think it'll
be easy and then they're never gonna
succeed because they don't have enough
money and they'll have the work ethic to
get there okay they don't have the right
mindset to get there yet so that's why I
always recommend for beginners to start
with three traffic and just kind of
slowly building up from there okay so I
also want you to remember when you're
utilizing free traffic a lot of people
asking like hey Chad if I use for
traffic and just done straight to my
fill-in link and straight straight to
the sale okay and that's something you
can do by this multi long-term value
that okay you want to build up a list
you want to build something but
especially because you can use the asset
- now you know generate a custom
audience on Facebook or Google or
YouTube ads okay so that's another thing
you want to do is always be building up
a list whether that's an email list or a
message about litzke I recommend if
you're using Facebook traffic or
Instagram traffic or both bill have a
message about links again a the reason
why I say that is because you know with
Facebook and Instagram they're already
inside the platform chances are that
have the messenger app it's gonna take
them straight to there sometimes if you
take them to a like a mess your opt-in
through YouTube or Google or viber and
it's kind of it makes them like sign
into Facebook and they have to put in
their email and password which is like
again be way harder to actually get a
lead to sign up if they have to do that
usually I'll just click out that i-5 to
do that okay so realize that with
Facebook and Instagram you want to build
a master bot list me personally I would
build up a mess your bottle list just
because it's so much newer you get like
90 80 percent open rates absolutely
crazy 50 percent click to raise the
attention it has way more attention than
email again people are so used to emails
coming into their inbox that overall
they just don't get open as much okay
now which is fine like if you can get a
15 percent open rate that's still good
depending on how big your email list is
and how big you can grow it but overall
if you're using Facebook and Instagram
recommended master boundless now there
is some constituent the cons are like
with with emails what I like about email
marketing is you can usually provide
more value and emails you meaning you
can make it way longer and you can
usually send them like every day and
your unsubscribe rate won't be that high
but if you're doing that with messenger
BOTS you know since they get notified
like right on their phone what happens
is if you make your message rotten you
know situm messages every single day a
lot of people are gonna get annoyed so
I've cut it down to like twice a week
max and then also you usually can't do
it as long because it just looks like
crazy long because most people are
giving the message on their mobile
device so usually with email
you can provide more value build more
trust so that's kind of like the more
Pro with email but again an email is
just gonna be a lower open rate so what
I recommend is if you're using any
saving traffic source besides that's not
Facebook or Instagram I recommend to
build up an email list scan I would
always recommend to do both let's just
start out with one and try to grow it
and then you can just go from there and
just build other sources and just
diversify from there okay but that's why
I'd recommend you know if you're using
free traffic always fill up an email
list always build up a messenger bottle
list you know depending on what traffic
sources you're using then also once you
start to generate that customized and
you can use paid ads you also want to
build your email list from the paid ads
to okay you don't want to just take them
straight to the sale you can do that if
it's like really warm traffic that your
retargeting but usually a few but if you
don't have their email ready okay you
want your ad to take them through your
main funnel which is your opt-in funnel
I'll put a little b-roll clip of kind of
what that looks like but basically you
know you have the traffic coming in to
the opt-in page you collect their email
you take me to the Thank You page to
think page you can upsell them or you
can send them to your Facebook group or
another social media platform and then
you have them go through your email
sequence and stuff like that and that's
where you can start to sell through
there okay so again that'd be your main
funnel and you take them you take your
paid traffic through that too and if you
are doing retargeting with a really warm
traffic you already know you have their
email then obviously you want to take
them straight to the sale okay but
overall mostly most of the time you're
doing free traffic is it's just a scale
of people going to your funnel okay and
that's another thing I forgot to mention
we need to start with free traffic first
you can usually know your numbers way
better okay for example if you have 500
emails and let's say within the 30 day
that 30-day period those five room
emails or so that made you around 2 or
$50 or maybe it's turn 50 a chat box of
scripts inand not made you turn $50
again so basically now you know ok a
lead makes me fifty cents per month okay
so that's kind of something you can know
going into your pay gasps you can know
your numbers better you can know how
much you want to spend on your lead
versus people going into pay
traffic completely blind you know they
don't know their numbers at all they
don't know that our stuff even works
they don't know how well their landing
page is gonna convert or how well their
opt-in rates gonna be okay
that's that's why it's good with free
traffic as you can see okay my opt-in
rate is pretty globe and maybe you're
sorry about three shots I can you see
okay my often rates only ten percent let
me change the offer and let me change
the headline before I start reading pay
traffic because you know as I certainly
if I'm writing pay traffic if I'm
spending money on ads to generate leads
I do not want a ten percent off the rent
okay
I want to optimize that until I can get
a 30% 40% 50% off the rate and then I'll
start running paid traffic when I find a
good funnel that works that I know how
much it's gonna make me and I know how
much money I can put in and get out okay
so that's why it's so damn important to
start with free traffic and start with
content in that way you can you know
test all this different stuff first
before you actually start throwing a
bunch of money into it now if you do
have money that you're okay with losing
you know it's completely fine some
people just have like a different
mindset than others
but if you do if you know you have a
couple thousand dollars you want to
start with pay traffic you can you can
totally test you know pay traffic first
and you can test like different you can
test different offers you can test
different headlines all with paid
traffic
I honestly think beginners will be way
more likely to fail going through that
route including myself and that's kind
of how I used to do it especially when
Facebook was a lot easier and a lot
cheaper so that's why I think is a lot
better for people this especially
beginners an even internet intermedia
people to just start with Collins in
sorry three traffic start building up
you know that brand and start building
up your list your mess your bottomless
all that different stuff before they go
to and scale with the pay traffic route
and like I said if you have a look like
audience and stuff like that and or
you're doing retargeting it's going to
convert way higher and your cost per
click is going to be way cheaper okay so
let's remember that and just to be
overall helpful to your audience you
know using kind of like the jab jab jab
right hook approach with your emails or
with your follow up meaning jab provide
value jab provide value jab
my value right Hulk ask if they want to
buy a chronic or just recommend a
product through affiliate marketing okay
that's kind of how that would look like
