today I'm gonna be answering some common
questions I get with affiliate marketing
hopefully you guys can find this useful
cuz you know it's just common questions
that people are asking so let's go and
get into this again I'm just gonna read
them off my phone
anyways question number one is Chad how
do I get started with affiliate
marketing if I am a complete newbie ok
so the answer to this is you want to
start by just gathering some resources
really understanding what it is
channels go join forums you know do you
really gotta do your research if you are
complete newbie and if you barely know
what it is you got to get a basic
understanding yes there's courses out
there but I think even before you take a
course you you won't you still want to
get a basic understanding of how online
works and then maybe if you have extra
money if you're willing to invest in
course and do that if not you can just
start learning for free because there is
some technical stuff that you are gonna
need to know that you know YouTube
videos or Google's not always going to
answer it like it can it's just gonna
take longer so that's one of the reasons
I've put together a course because you
know people are asking yeah always ask
me what where do you learn best um do
you have any recommended courses stuff
like this so if you're a complete newbie
you know just go start learning taking
action is the most important part by
what I would say is if you are a
complete newbie you're gonna fail ok and
that might might seem cold but that's
just how it is you know that's how
business works is you're gonna fail
starting out you're gonna think you're
gonna do good with a particular thing
but it's not gonna work out for you
it'll work out for some people but it
might not work out for you so you're
just gonna have to fail quickly and keep
going and you know staying consistent
and knocking shiny object syndrome so
that's why I say if you're a completely
new we just start taking action and
start learning right so question number
two is do I need to spend money to make
money with affiliate marketing okay so
does you need to spend money to make
money
marketing the answer is yes although
there are free traffic methods you're
gonna have to spend money no matter what
so that could be money for domain a web
site hosting
people on fiver to do stuff for you you
know funnel builders an email
autoresponder all this different stuff
you're gonna have to make money um you
know if you're doing video mic so you're
gonna have to spend a little bit of
money you know maybe it's not on paid
advertising but if you're starting out
with free traffic methods so really the
minimum you need is like twenty thirty
dollars you can you know you can use
builder all and they have emails and
everything like that for thirty dollars
a month so that's what I would say is
you need some type of capital so if you
don't have anything you're just a kid
trying to start out go get a job or you
know start flipping stuff on eBay or
something like that so the best thing I
would say is have some type of like
marketing budget for your business so
like like me I always put I always put
like a thousand dollars a month to the
side to like spend on ads or spend on
you know software stuff like that so
that's why I say have some type of money
that you're willing to lose invest back
into your business every single month
okay you don't care if you lose that
money so that could be money by you know
not going out to eat you know I never go
out to eat I try to save you know all my
as much money as I can right so that's
what I'd say all right so the next one
is chat click Clickbank seems to be the
big thing among affiliate marketers do
you use it as well most of the offers
you promote do most offers you promote
come from other places or just click
think all right so that's kind of a good
question but yeah Clickbank is a great
resource it's super easy to start you
know they're they're a legitimate
company you're always gonna get paid out
right away there's like money-back
guarantee so the customer is happening
if you have a girl park you can put it
up on there so it's a pretty smart
company but yeah Clickbank is a good
thing there's lots and lots of products
on there you know especially if you're
in like these weird niches um I also use
other places you know I do use Clickbank
with some of my other niches now I'm
like if you're talking about my personal
brand at all I don't use Clickbank or
anything like that but yeah other niches
that I'm in I use Clickbank a lot one of
my favorite networks actually just
because I have so many different
products they have physical products
they have digital products they have
paid subscriptions
of courses stuff like that so Clickbank
is good resource it really just depends
on your niche I also use like market
health that's for like health products
um more physical products in that era
Mac's bounty stuff like that so really
you just gotta kind of like it's not so
much about the network it's about the
offer so just sign up to a bunch of
networks and maybe if they maybe some of
them both have the same offer but one
pays you out more
so obviously go with the one that pays
you out more so I really just signed on
the other networks and see what you like
best but some reliable ones you can
trust our you know max bounty clickbank
seven ROI market health Amazon so just
time to those and see which one you like
best for your niche right so question
number four launch jacking is it
profitable alright so if you guys don't
know what launch jacking is basically
what it is is trying to rank for like a
keyword or like trying to reveal the
product before even comes out or right
when it comes out for example like when
ty Lopez came out with the social media
marketing agency there are already like
tons of videos on YouTube saying ty
Lopez
social meat marketing agency is it a
scam you know so like all those videos
that's kind of like launch jacking and
then they can promote the course that
I've actually done this before and I
made a lot of money promoting a certain
course so it doesn't work um it is
profitable but you know you might not
always be first to it so you cannot have
to know to rank you make a good video on
the product however the only thing I
would say is it's not very like if
you're just doing the launch jacking all
day and like you're you're keep doing
that I it's not really a long-term
strategy like it's just I feel like it's
just you're trying to make quick money
launch jacking but you know if you like
for me I leveraged launch jacking to
start my personal brand okay so I
started launched I started making a
review video of a course and not that
video got a lot of views because that
course is brand new but you know off
those viewers I attracted them to my
YouTube channel and I kept making videos
around the course of what I learned from
it what I didn't learn from it and stuff
like that so that's kind of
I leveraged a product I loved I launched
Jack I leveraged it and I started
building an actual brand out of it for
my personal brand so that's just one
example of what I've done for it so and
that in that essence it's a really good
thing to do to leverage it but if you're
just doing it all day you know it's like
guys people still make a lot of money
from it but I think it's better to have
more of a long-term game but you know
it's up to you but yeah it's definitely
good strategy if you're trying to make
some extra money if you know what you're
doing right so question number five and
this is the last question guys so it
says Chad what was your first affiliate
marketing success so we're actually just
talking about this but my first
affiliate marketing success was
basically I made I took Kevin David's
Amazon course because I was in Amazon at
the time and I made a review video on
YouTube and he was paying $500 per sale
okay so for Commission I got $5.00
because it was $1,000 of course so um
you know I did review video on it and I
was I was not I wasn't getting any sales
for like a week and then all the sudden
started to pick up and I started to make
like 500 dollars a day thousand dollars
a day fifteen hundred dollars a day five
hundred dollars a day so I made like
eleven thousand with that course in like
a month or two so that was like my first
real success I've had like other sales
like back in because that was back in
June when I first started my youtube
channel and when I was still doing
Amazon I don't do Amazon anymore but
that was like way back in June so yeah
that was like my first success I've had
other sales like back in November of
like 2016 so like more than a year ago
I've had like you know sales for my
filling marketing because I was just
doing some email marketing stuff
do you really know I was doing at the
time but I got a few sales so but yeah
that launched hacking thing and I
leveraged it so that was like that
launch jacking thing that I did with
Kevin's course that was like my first
real success as far as the Philly
marketing goes and then what I did it
cuz I didn't really have any money at
the time I was like I made a few a
couple hundred bucks a month with Amazon
then I was like doing food delivery so I
was I was pretty broke so like all that
money I'm a
from affiliate marketing what I did is I
put it back into myself I started buying
email marketing courses you know course
just for email marketing course just for
Facebook ads of course for YouTube more
affiliate marketing courses and I kind
of just learned and learn and learn and
eventually you know got to scale with
how affiliate marketing works started
making more money with it and just kind
of went from there just kind of going up
and up and up so that was really my
first success um you know if you haven't
gotten there you know it's gonna be
coming as long as you stay consistent
and follow some of the tips I'm putting
out to you guys you know so hope you
