checklist for beginners so it should be
pretty cool video if you're new to
affiliate marketing so you don't want to

now affiliate marketing and I make

in so today we're going to talk about
the affiliate marketing checklist for
beginners all right so there's five
different things you have to know for
doing affiliate market there's five
different phases okay so are there's
five things you have to get right
alright so number one and I'll be going
over all five things for it throughout
this whole video so number one is your
mindset okay and this is the first thing
you need to do this is the first thing
you need to get down because this is one
of the most important parts alright so
mindset comes down to thinking positive
getting rid of all distractions getting
rid of shiny object syndrome don't go
onto Amazon FBA don't go onto drop
shipping if you're want to do a Philly
marketing commit to it same thing if
you're doing Amazon FBA don't use don't
do affiliate marketing like just commit
to that okay so just remember that also
this is not a get-rich-quick team I
always say affiliate marketing takes at
least three six months to start making
at least $1,000 a month okay and that's
just and that's being conservative and
it's always better to think like that
alright so just don't think too crazily
you also have to have patience alright
patience is a huge huge role in this I'm
also consistent work and effort even if
you're not making any money you still
want to you want to put in the work like
you're making a hundred thousand dollars
a month even if you're making zero okay
so just think about that consistent work
and effort is gonna be very important
if you're making no money at all yet
right so that's the first thing is
having the right mindset down and really
sticking that in your head maybe you can
copy this down pause the video and write
it down on a whiteboard write it down
you know on a little sticky table put on
your mirror in your bathroom right just
remember all this stuff because it's so
so important and this is the big thing
that basically why I failed for eight
months because I didn't have the proper
mindset if I did have the proper mindset
I would be a lot farther than I am right
now
just to tell you that part right so
remember that that the proper mindset so
step number two for this affiliate
marketing checklist it's having the
right tools okay obviously tools are
very very important I could not do my
business without certain softwares and
all my programs
tools like an email autoresponder okay
you can use get response Aweber or the
Builder all one okay so having email
responder is email autoresponder is
really important it's a huge asset or a
huge tool I need to run my business I'm
also a funnel builder okay funnel
builder slash website builder you can
use stuff like build your all click
funnels those are two I would recommend
so those are you know really important
you have to build funnels you have to
build websites depending on the strategy
you're using but most time you're gonna
need that also messenger bot lessons
this is optional but I use mini chat
these are one of the tools I use also
having the ability to access social
media accounts so you can make an
Instagram Facebook Pinterest core all
that different stuff for your actual
niche okay so having access to social
media accounts those are the four tools
you're gonna need so that's number two
is the tools right so number three on
this checklist if we scroll down here is
the resources all right so this is like
another important aspect that a lot of
people kind of miss out out but
basically free sources what this means
is basically where you're gonna get
advice on how to do affiliate marketing
what jars you use what it what stuff is
working best right now
what's up isn't working good right now
just maybe some mentors stuff like that
so it could be youtubers that give good
advice on you know updates what is
working best just stuff like that so
some recommended people I have is
obviously shameless bug
myself but miles Beckler he's another
good one to check out on YouTube and I
also like Alex Becker he actually gives
some actual like real strategies and he
I just ice like him he knows what he's
doing
also with Miles Beckler those are like
the two guys I actually take advice from
anyone else I don't really take that
much advice from I'm really careful with
who I listen to okay so I think that's
very important too many people listen to
too many people so it's better to narrow
it down on a few people okay
and that's just my opinion but it's up
to you also course courses it's optional
but saves time
I have an affiliate marketing course
some other people have an affiliate
marketing course so this is just gonna
save your time it's gonna give you like
a step-by-step direction on kind of what
to do so it's just like a guidance but
yeah it's up to you it's optional but
again it saves time I can learn
everything for free but yeah again it
just saves time so that's another
resource you might need also books
okay books are also important is I think
it's good to consume stuff or learn
stuff all three ways like through
podcasts through video and through
reading that will just get you to really
really learn it and really it'll make
you really stick it in your brain right
so some books I recommend are dot-com
secrets that's a good one expert secrets
that's another good one
some mindset books if you have trouble
with number one up here mindset books
are gonna be important to you so I don't
have any off the top of my head but just
go look around look at some of the best
business books the best self-development
books and just read some of those pick
them up and also like the power of habit
that's another good book check that out
so that's number three is that's another
important as far as affiliate marketing
checklist on what you want to you know
get down and actually do so number four
is your plan of action okay and actually
a lot of people don't do this too much
they do a little bit of this but this is
really important all right all these all
this stuff is really important right
this is why I made this video okay so if
you guys don't have any of this stuff
make sure to do all this stuff because
it's all very important right so for
plan of action what niche you're going
to go into obviously you have to know
your
bitch you got to know who you're
providing value who you're putting out
content to who you're putting out
products to you got to learn about the
niche that kind of stuff basically the
next thing is what products you want to
promote in that niche obviously if
you're not promoting any products you
can't make any money
next thing is doing your keyword
research gay knowing what kind of
problems people are having in the niche
what kind of questions people are having
in that niche and you as the feeling you
want to be able to solve those people's
problems through your content through
your ads through your lead magnets
through your funnels all that different
stuff ok so just remember that doing
your proper keyword research knowing
what problems people are having in that
niche right and basically how you can
solve them ok so next thing is what
affiliate marketing strategy you want to
utilize and this will depend on your
niche ok so there's not just one
strategy that would recommend because
every niche is different every product
you want promotes could be high ticket
affiliate it could be low ticket it
could be just you know a female daunting
niche
it could be niches that are strictly for
older people so every way every traffic
source every way of you know doing
affiliate marketing is gonna be
different dependent on your niche so but
these are the main strategies that will
basically cover any niche but basically
comes down to blog having a blog posting
content on there having a YouTube
channel social media accounts funnels
you can run ads to funnel stuff like
that you can use Facebook Ads you can
use Bing ads you can use email marketing
so there's all these different
strategies you want to utilize I'd
recommend always having like a blog or
youtube channel or some social media
account where you're putting out content
on a daily basis then also having a
funnel and a lead magnet and doing email
marketing or messenger brought marketing
through that alright and then also like
using Facebook Ads or being asked to
scale your business from there okay so
that's what I always recommend having
free traffic and pay traffic as a
strategy in your affiliate marketing
business and in your niche next thing is
having a long-term goal slash plan okay
so if you think about it it let's say
like why are you doing affiliate
marketing you have to reverse engineer
your
okay are you just trying to make a quick
buck or are you trying to build an
income source that's gonna basically
provide you with income every single
month okay so if you're doing that you
want to consider building a brand okay
get that that's what's gonna last you in
the long term so building a brand comes
down to putting out more content
realizing the the lifetime value of your
customer so just realizing all that
stuff so that's why we considers is
planning out your goal and kind of your
plan and just kind of going from there
okay so the last thing you need to do is
the actual work every day and again this
isn't something a lot of people don't
actually do they'll do all these steps
but they won't do the actual work
because maybe they're too overwhelmed or
there's like okay maybe I should redo
the niche or maybe I should do something
else differently okay
what it really comes down to use just
taking action actually doing it okay
start putting in the work because
overall you're going to learn best
through the action right you're not
gonna you're not gonna learn everything
through a course you're not gonna learn
everything through a YouTube video
you're not gonna learn everything
through a book okay the only way it'll
really stick in your mind is if you do
something maybe you do it wrong you'll
learn okay maybe you do something you do
it right you learn that's the way it
will actually stick in your mind okay
consuming content learning stuff that's
all good but if you don't do anything
without content you're never gonna
actually learn it and or see any results
okay so you have to actually do the work
every single day and as some example of
work for affiliate marketing is you know
number one putting out relevant content
of people in your niche are typing into
Google or YouTube so whatever people are
typing in there in your niche you want
to put out content relevant to that
right so that's the first thing you can
do
second thing is making lead magnets
around people's problems in the niche so
an example of that is like a weight loss
guide for people who are trying to lose
weight obviously that's a very broad
example but that's just you know to give
you an idea making lead magnets and
taking them through some sort of funnel
next thing is coming up with ads coming
up with different ideas for ads what you
could do for your niche how you can grow
your email list how you can get more
people to your lead magnet so coming up
with the ads that's another thing
work you can actually do next thing is
building out your funnels maybe you have
a complicated funnel or just a simple
funnel maybe it's just a funnel that
takes them from traffic to landing page
to you know Thank You page to email
follow-up okay that's a simple funnel
not sir I'd recommend if you're a
beginner so that's something you can do
okay build start building out your
funnels next thing is start getting
traffic from social media okay
if you don't have money to run paid ads
start getting traffic from social media
start utilizing free traffic okay
I have all kinds of content that talks
about free traffic so go check that out
but anyways the last one is keyword
research so that's another form of work
you could do with affiliate marketing is
actually doing your keyword research and
kind of knowing what your niche is
searching for what problems are having
what questions they're asking stuff like
that all right so that's the five tasks
you have to know just to recap number
one is mindset
number two is tools you need number
three's resources number four is your
plan of action and number five is
actually taking the action so anyways
