how to generate consistent sells using
and leveraging the affiliate marketing
business model regardless if you have no
previous sells whatsoever I get a lot of
people that come to me and they're like
Josh you have all these results like
it's easy for you to get sells but how
started where a lot of you guys are at
right now so I didn't just get in the
industry with results I had to go
through what's called the first 90 day
beast mode grind phase and you guys are
gonna have to do that as well the
quicker that you can create your first
success story the easier it's going to
be to leverage that and create further
results that's why it's so easy for me
to make
10 20 30 grand a month nowadays is
because I have that initial success
story that I can build off of so what
you guys need to do is you need to start
where you're at right if you don't know
anything about affiliate marketing and
by the way this works for Network
marketers this works for direct sales
people this works for pretty much any
industry not just affiliate marketing
what you need to do is I would
brainstorm start off by writing out a
tan timeline on a piece of paper right
create a horizontal line and then go
from the date you were born to today and
then I want you to write down the most
memorable milestones of your life the
transitions the victories the failures
and a lot of times when you remember
something from 1996 you tend to also
remember something from 1994 and then 93
and you get more clarity as to what led
you up to where you're at today a lot of
people join opportunities and they
completely forget why they joined in the
first place that's one of the questions
that I ask people especially within the
affiliate marketing make money online
biz op or network marketing industry is
one of the first questions is why did
you join in the first place right why
did you join chances are the reason why
you joined is the reason why other
people are going to join - because you
have to understand the struggles and the
pain points of your marketplace right so
when you're going out there marketing
like I'm on this looking into this
camera and I know exactly your guys are
struggles I know exactly who I'm talking
to a lot of people are too busy trying
to make money quickly that they forget
that it's about the other person on the
other side of that you know computer or
that phone it's about then it's never
about you
so the best thing that you can do is
first reverse-engineer yourself why did
your joint why did you join why did you
start an online business what was your
story like before where were you out
before you got into an online business
why did you join where are you at now
what are you liking most about an online
business is it the the multiple streams
of income is it being able to travel the
world be a digital no matter what is the
reason why are you here why are you in
this industry so once you can
acknowledge those points then you can
take that framework and you can speak
that vision out into the marketplace
there's a book that I want you all to
read that are on this slide right now
it's called
start with why by simon Sinek
and he talks about that people don't buy
products and services because of just
the featuring features and benefits of
the product or service they buy why that
specific individual is promoting that
product or service so people don't buy
what you do they buy why you do it ok
when you can't like your story is going
to resonate and impact and touch
people's lives more than you going out
there and pitching your product or
service on Facebook like you can lose
weight you can you know lose 10 pounds
in two weeks yeah that's great in
everything but why are you so passionate
about helping people lose weight why are
you so so passionate about helping
people change their financial situation
that's what you have to acknowledge that
is the key to success my friends people
have their surface-level desires and
then they have their deep level desires
what we want to do is we want to punch
them in the face and then hit them at
the core okay so hit another way in
other words we want to start with our
surface level desires and then we want
to you know go into their core level
desires like for example a service level
desire would be I want to quit my job so
I can have more money I want to quit my
job so I can buy my favorite car right
if money alone motivated people we would
have a lot more success stories than
what we have the the success percentage
would be much higher than the two to
three percent that it
is right now and that's across all
boards that's in any industry so you
really need to start with like why are
you really doing this what is the
greater purpose the greater mission and
so like a core level desire would be so
I can give my family the life that they
deserve so I can give my kids what I
didn't have growing up right I want to
provide my kids with a better life and
it really has to hit you at the core
everybody's why is gonna be different my
why is that I truly want to impact as
many people as I can I want to change
the educational system for better I want
people to realize that college is not
the way to go here in 2019 that it is
all about the internet is all about
living your perfect day every day and
being able to monetize whatever it is
that you're passionate about right
that's that's what drives me that is my
why I wake up every single day excited
to get on these lives excited to touch
one person's life like worst case
scenario you guys get into this industry
and you change one person's life you
your life was worth it
if you just change one person's life a
lot of people are looking to build Rome
in one day they're looking to change
everybody's life in one single day so
you have to start with why you're doing
it and if you get really deep with that
and you just speak that vision out into
the marketplace it's not about the
product that you're promoting are you
guys realizing that if people resonate
with your story and why you do what you
do they will buy whatever you have and
that's the cool thing about this people
join programs and they attach themselves
to a program you don't want to attach
yourself to a program okay you want to
stand on you want to have a strong
foundation and then you want to have
extensions of whatever whatever your Y
is so like if this product over here
represents your Y then you can it can
connect your Y with that product so if
you go to like people's Facebook
profiles often
a good profile doesn't talk about a
network marketing company that they're
attached to it doesn't talk about an
affiliate company now every once in a
while it might but 95% of their wall if
you scroll down it a good profile is
just flat-out pure value so what a lot
of you guys need to do I'm gonna use a
network marketing make money online
business industry for example these
these two industries people are going to
resonate like the type of content you
guys are probably wondering okay I want
to start I need to start with my story I
need to speak out you know my story out
in the marketplace to attract people but
what other types of content is my market
interested in and this is where you
really need to listen to your market and
find out what their wants and needs are
so typically in our industry my industry
the online biz op affiliate marketing
network marketing industry the people
that tend to join these are people that
have nine-to-five jobs there are people
that are tend to be middle class to
lower-class some upper class to as well
but their biggest pain is they have no
freedom okay or they want a good solid
supplemental income and a lot of these
people aren't in a place where they have
the developed mindset and that's not
against anybody out there they just
don't know what they don't know but they
don't have a developed mindset to
attract money into their lives so
teaching people personal development how
to change their paradigms how to choose
their belief systems is the first step
so going to like a profile that has a
lot of value about personal development
about changing your beliefs about money
about you know how to attract wealth
into your life the difference between
rich people and poor people in their
mindset this is the type of value the
people in the biz op and the network
marketing niche would definitely raise
with because they need to change their
paradigm they need to change their
mindset to have success so that's one
thing another thing is you could teach
like traffic strategies like Facebook
strategies you can teach you two
strategies Instagram strategies because
they're gonna need traffic into their
business as well so those are these
different pillars inside of a successful
what we would call successful network
marketing or affiliate marketing
business so it would be like personal
development then it would be like funnel
a building and then it would be like
traffic strategies and then it would be
like copywriting so like the funnel
building would be like the tech and
email marketing and so yeah like you
know three or four pillars here two to
be precise and then what you would do is
you would create content within each of
these pillars that help people solve
their problems so what we're really
essentially doing here is we're getting
people from point A to point B from
where they're at to where they want to
be and then there's of course other
people that are in different phases so
there's people that just completely
don't believe that they can make money
online they don't believe it's real so
you know showing them how it's possible
telling them stories about how you know
you changed your mindset to a mindset of
abundance to attract wealth into your
life right so that's what we're really
trying to do is find out what people's
struggles are and give them a solution
so when you don't know anything about
marketing though right you don't know
anything about traffic generation then
you always start with your story and you
repeat that over and over and over and
over again until you start to learn like
traffic generating strategies and then
you can sort of earn while you learn so
start learning about how to drive
traffic through solo ads through
Facebook Ads and then teach other people
exactly how you did that so a lot of
people like tell their story once on
video or on it like a blog post or a
Facebook post and by the way you guys
don't have to do videos to be successful
you can follow this framework but tell
your story through text right so what
you would typically
is what was life like before I know I
said this previously but I want to
reiterate what was life like you know
during the struggle of trying to find
the right business what is life like now
now even if you aren't successful that's
fine what sold you will actually sell
the next person so if what sold you was
the vision of being able to travel the
world being able to work from a laptop
anywhere you want being able to spend
more time with your kids people will buy
more into that story than you showing a
screenshot of money and you're gonna get
a better quality of person from that so
are you realizing that all you need to
do is tell your story get clear on what
your story is like sort of understand
the hero's journey when you go to the
movie theater to watch the movie you
watch any of these like Marvel movies
x-men movies Minoo the script is sort of
repeated you have a hero
you have the trials and tribulations
that hero went through then you have a
discovery phase right and then you might
have more struggle and then it reaches
that climax of success right and so we
want to follow that sort of same
framework so you guys might be thinking
well you know my story is nothing to be
talked about like I don't have a special
story and you do and that's the problem
is I discounted my story because I'm
like I'm middle-class I don't have like
some rags to riches story I grew up
middle-class no one's going to resonate
with it but they actually do you know
it's like when you go to a third world
country for example you know I'm from
the United States and I happen to see
somebody from the United States even
though there are a complete stranger or
both from the same country so it's
almost like instantaneously we're gonna
become best friends just by association
so if I talk about how much I like golf
and I like how much
like wearing lucky hats in my content or
my videos I'm gonna attract people that
are just like me okay so you know don't
be afraid to show the personal side of
your story don't be afraid you know to
talk about those personal things that
you may think are irrelevant or you grow
up what type of house you lived in what
you did when you were younger like maybe
you played jacks or you played pogs like
one of the things I did is I played pogs
when I was younger a lot of people don't
know what the heck that is but my
demographic would so include that stuff
in your story but the biggest selling
point is selling people on the vision of
what you're doing not what you're
selling because again people buy in
Division they don't buy products
necessarily into the product or the
service so a lot of people are like you
know think that oh I can't promote this
multi-level marketing opportunity or
this affiliate opportunity because it's
saturated you know and they're missing
the point they're missing what branding
really is if you brand yourself really
good and you build a relationship really
good on the front end without people
even knowing what you're promoting on
the back end when you get to that point
when you are ready to promote that thing
on the back end then people are going to
buy from you because now you've built a
relationship with them you built a
strong bond with them and on often they
could care less what you're a part of
they just want to be a part of what
you're a part of because they know like
and trust you so if you guys are having

standalone brand my channel represents
helping people live a life of freedom
passion and fulfillment those are my
three pillars and I'll have pieces of
content under those three pillars that
represent that single mission statement
okay so really develop what you
represent what do you represent what do
you stand by what work where are you
gonna plant your flag what do you
believe in because if you don't believe
in anything
you're gonna fall for everything so you
want to speak those beliefs out in the
marketplace okay so once once you have
those beliefs identify your story okay
and then integrate those beliefs in what
you stand for in that story you'll
become polarizing right we don't want to
be in the middle right if we're like
yeah you know I kind of believe in the
school system but I kind of don't oh I'm
kind of a Democrat but I'm also kind of
a Republican like people don't want to
be a part of people that are wishy-washy
they want to join people that are
polarizing okay you know just just going
through building my business in
different industries like the affiliate
marketing industry in the network
marketing industry and just looking at
other successful people as I was growing
there's a couple people that come to
come to mind and when I was on Facebook
that I always paid attention to him
because they would always tell their
story like weekly but they might tell a
different part of the story one week
than another week but it all stood
around one central idea and one of the
ideas for one of the individuals I paid
attention to was that she wanted to
spend more time at home with her kids
and watch her kids grow up and not sent
him to gate daycare and that was that
was that was like their their big why
why they were doing what they were doing
and they just spoke that vision out into
the marketplace over and over and
again okay so reverse engineering is
huge
when it comes to success inside your
business so did you guys get value from
this let me know if you did I want to
open this up with some questions that
pertain to what I just talked about if
you guys have any questions about

your first results and you continue to
speak that message out
it's rinsing and repeating to then scale
okay most people like they don't get
results from the get-go and they just
quit like there is there's a lot out
there where you have to there's delayed
gratification the law of delayed
gratification you have to to put out
more value to the marketplace because
you're not ready and you're not
deserving to get what you want to get in
return because you haven't given enough
value out into the marketplace to get
the money that you want returned so it
takes months of making those deposits
into other people's bank accounts before
you're going to get deposits inside of
your own bank account
right your income is in direct
proportion to how much of value you
provide it to the marketplace and how
many offers you make okay so with that
said I know I got a few questions

my story I'm not sure how it would
relate to a niche I haven't figured out
yet yeah you might you might need to
brainstorm like you know whatever niche
you're in what niche number one what
niche are you in and why are you going
into that niche what's the backstory
what happened that got you passionate
about that niche and the problem might
be is you might just not be passionate
about that niche right like I have so
much pain in my day job I remember
looking out the window and it's
beautiful summertime right blue skies
no clouds in the sky and I'm like man I
wish I wish I was out there golfing I
wish I was out there traveling you know
I've seen so many people like on it you
know Facebook and they're speaking this
vision of travel and they're making all
this money and I'm like man I want what
they want and that story alone like how
many does how many people out there does
that resonate with right you go to a day
job and you feel like you're chained to
a desk
you feel like there you feel like you're
in a gel in other words and that's what
it felt like I felt like this hamster on
a wheel I felt like this limitation is
proverbial glass ceiling above my head
you know and I went from that to
discovering this online business and the
ability to make money while you sleep
and how full leverage and it completely
changed my life
so that's a perfect example of a story
right tell your story so if you don't
have like if there's not pain behind the
niche that you're going into you might
need to reconsider that niche so any

essentially are teaching the same thing
and the marketing is very very much the

solution is actually in the marking of
the product and not the product itself

products were essentially the same and
most of them were just scam so I'm like
if I can start doing reviews on these
products and where you
the faults marketing behind these
products reveal that people are just
hiring these fake actors from Fiverr and
I can help people stay away from these
products and start purchasing products
that can actually help them then boom so
I found a small segment of the
marketplace in this industry identified
their problem because I know they deal
with its shiny object syndrome and that
was the solution right so what have you
been struggling with inside of your life

overcome to this point maybe you dealt
with a huge struggle okay and you've now

can you monetize that is it you know is
it acne I said you know personal
development is it have to do with sports
like what is it identify that and then

starting off documenting my weight loss

about and then document your progress
just on a youtube channel don't expect
any traffic or cells yet just document
what we're doing is we're creating a
success story we're showing proof of
concept document your results day by day
with that product and then start
teaching what you're learning from the
product that's getting you the results
that you're getting and then you can
start to integrate selling a little bit
more right because now you're taking one
piece of content that helped you lose
weight and you're giving people that one
gold nugget and then if they want the
rest they want the whole meal they can
click the link in your description and
they can go you know purchase the
product whatever it may be right I would
really like to incorporate comedy as
well what are your thoughts on mixing
niches I would not mix niches I actually
have phone call today go deep into one
niche and just talk about that niche
talk about it talk about it like you
know it's a title of most of my videos
were like affiliate marketing there so

marketing that sometimes I'll throw in
like how to make money with home-based
businesses you know best business
opportunities but you really want to
drill deep with one topic so like if
you're talking about affiliate marking
all your videos in the in the headline
should be affiliate marketing and then
you could have like a subtitle right so
that the actually not the headline the
title and then the subtitle so the
titles each of my titles all say
affiliate marketing but then my subtitle
you know is telling people what the
actual topic of conversation is but all
of my titles once again in each my
videos say affiliate marketing at least
most of them lately
so going deep with one topic is huge but
yeah comedy could be a part of your
character Jay says that's correct

standpoint so it's not about lack of
resources it's about lack of resource
fulness be creative you know what I did
when I had no money I literally have no
money but I watched enough YouTube
videos that I learned a skill set that
skill set was SEO that skill set was the
ability to rank videos and white
websites and Google so I knew that if I
had the skill set and I knew have some
knowledge at least of a particular niche
I can combine the knowledge of that
niche with that skill set and I could
make money without really having to
invest any money whatsoever because if
you've got an iPhone that you're
watching this on you can use that put it
up shoot the video create content in a
specific niche and if you know how to
get views to that video thus knowing SEO
and search engine optimization and just
having general knowledge the YouTube
algorithm you can make a lot of money
without any money whatsoever so most
about 99% of what I make on this channel
is all profit because I have very little
to no overhead you know creating content
doesn't cost you guys anything and nor
does getting views to your videos if you
have you know a massive action taking
mindset and that's all you really guys
need that's all you need you guys sorry

problem with doing that at the end of
the day everything is a test to like

when in doubt when you can't find the
answer online whether it's for myself or
somebody else test like crazy and that's
what I do there's a lot of there's not a
lot of answers out there right now on
YouTube ads and so you know I just do a
lot of testing myself and I've learned a
lot from it and I'm having a lot of
success because of that what are your
thoughts on using PLR and combining PLR
products to create your own yeah that's
great you know there's some really good
PR products out there there's some
really bad PLR products our brief read
through the product and see if there's
like actual good value and you can even
edit the PLA pellet PLR product too as
well and then of course you can give it
away as a freebie or you know you can
sell it as like a tripwire you know sell
it for seven bucks
however you want but yeah there's
nothing wrong with the right PLR
products any other questions you guys
what equipment is needed to start making
quality videos well it's about quality
content it's not about quality of the
video mind you now you need some general
decent lighting like this but this is
good enough I'm using my iPhone and I'm
using a little tripod stand here and
that's all you really need I think this
is a gorilla tripod and then I've got
the DJI Osmo here that this camera is
sitting on and the camera of course is
my iPhone that's all you really need to
start shooting videos and then first I
wouldn't even edit my videos if you mess
up you mess up don't get bogged down if
you know how to do like jump cuts which
is just editing out the mistakes go
ahead and do it but people like you
fully for your vulnerability they feel
like they can be themselves around you
because if you look perfect on camera
all the time people will not relate to
you that's just the truth so I think
people spend way too much time appending
their videos look at all these other
channels on YouTube and I'm not bragging
but it's just the data proves it they
have a lot less subscribers and views

that solution so those three parts
script it out jump on camera repeat it
again and again and again and again and
again at first you're gonna be choked up
you're gonna feel like you're speaking
in front of a crowd of people and you
just have to get through it you have to
get through the ohms and the ahhs and
the deer in the headlights and I don't
know what the hell to say next you have
to understand it's a process just like
building muscle right there's resistance
there's pain there's your brains gonna
seize up you know things are gonna
happen and that's totally fine because
I've realized cuz I've been in this
industry long enough that everybody goes
through this everybody deals with it so
be willing to embrace the fear and and
and understand like forgive yourself
it's normal completely normal
and you're gonna find a lot more comfort
in knowing that the fear that you're
going through everybody has has to go
through that same journey
anybody that judges you on it has never
walked in your shoes and has never
attempted to do what you're doing so

how shall I use SEO so put the whatever
keywords are going for make sure that's
in the title in the first two the title
not the subtitle so like in this title I
think you have like Maya

keyword of this video is affiliate
marketing tips that's what I'm trying to
rank for and then you would sprinkle
that key or just a few times in the you
know description the body which is below
this video and then you would include it
in the tags so doing that those three
things
excuse me will greatly increase the
chain
is of you ranking if you don't rank for
the first time keep creating content
around that topic and you eventually
will rank and by the way it's not just
about ranking most of my traffic
actually comes from the suggestive video
section which is on the side of the
watch page so what you're seeing I
believe it's on this side if I'm correct
I know everything's kind of backward so
I think it's on this side you'll see a
list of videos those are videos that are
related to this video that you're
watching so you should probably see
other videos are about affiliate
marketing so most of my traffic actually
comes from that section believe it or
not so you know it's not just about
dealing there's more than one way to get
traffic to you know your YouTube videos
most people think it's just when the
search engine heck no most - traffic
comes from the home page the suggests
the video section and even on the the
channel page of other channels as well
so there's and that's just a few ways I
mean there's tons of different ways you
can drive traffic through YouTube videos

video that you could on a blog post or

Facebook groups it just requires more
work it's easier on the front end to do
like Facebook and writing and blog posts
and ranking websites but it's a lot more
work in the long run where with YouTube
there's more fears that you have to
overcome in the beginning but then in
the long run it's much easier so I like
to do the hard things for so I could do
it so it becomes easier in the future
versus do the easy things that are
redundant and just take up a lot of time
and don't have a whole lot of leverage
so you know it's it's up to you it's
just personal preference there's no
right or wrong so that's just my opinion
