Are Facebook Ads STILL Profitable for Affiliate MARKETING IN 2018??


what's up guys turn both here today
we're going to be going over whether
Facebook ads are still profitable 2018 I
get this question a lot so I want to do
a video on it should be pretty cool
video where I go inside that this
computer here and anyways guys hope you

guys soon all right guys before we get
into this video I want to tell you guys
that I did separate one of the modules
from my main affiliate marketing course
so I kind of just separated made it just
a video marketing master's course so it
goes everything just for YouTube so has
all these different lessons in here so
if you want to get you know the YouTube
section in my main course a lot of
people were asking me to separate them
so that's kind of what I did it's not a
new course I'm not making you know a new
course I just separated one of the
modules and it's just basically just
goes over YouTube how to properly do it
how to rank videos how to do all that
how to monetize it so if you aren't just

description anyway so let's go and get
in this video okay so today we're going
to be talking about our Facebook still
profitable for affiliate marketing in
2018 I've been getting this question a
lot since I don't really talk about them
as much and there's a few reasons why
but you know one of the reason is just
because I've been really busy haven't
been focusing on paid ads as much been
trying to really crack down on free
traffic methods and you know there's
some disadvantages that Facebook guys I
still use them I still spend I still
spend probably like a $500 a month on
Facebook ads so it's not like I'm not
using them anymore I still use them
every day
so let's go and get in this presentation
Kay so the real answer to this is yes
they are still profitable for affiliate
marketing in 2018 they're still
profitable for dropshipping they're
still profitable for sm ma so yes
they're still good only thing is I want
to say a few things for you guys before
you just go and run Facebook as before
you just go and run a bunch of campaigns
okay you got to be careful okay so you
know the short answer is yes they are if
you know what you're doing right so and
also you have to have money to test with
them okay you can't just go out and
expect to only use $20 with Facebook ads
and expect to return a profit okay you
need to you need to be willing to
lose like $500 because that's really how
much money it takes to test and get the
data and really figure out which which
audience is doing the best which what
type of campaign doing the best so you
need to have money to play with so it's
just really you know if you have that
money you want test with it and you
really want to learn paint ads and only
paid ads now I'd say you know go do it
but you know if you if you don't have
the money and you only have a couple
bucks a day you know just set on some
type of marketing budget and use like
Facebook ads as a way to scale your
business okay so what I would say is
like use free traffic methods and then
use Facebook at Facebook Ads to get more
traffic to your like free traffic
business right so don't just rely on
paid advertising if you're on a limited
budget so that's like the best thing I
would say for you guys to do so um you
know so however I wouldn't do Facebook
ads if you're not collecting emails or
some type of measure bought leads or
phone numbers or whatever you're
collecting don't just don't just run
Facebook guys if you're not collecting
emails anymore it's just kind of
pointless like there's really no point
you want to build like some type of long
term plan long term brand you know cuz
if paid ads don't work anymore or if it
goes too much you're gonna have nothing
to rely on okay you want some type of
you want to collect their emails or you
want to you know take them to whatever
you're doing again maybe you're building
up a Facebook group your YouTube channel
more visits your website stuff like this
collect some type of leads try to grow
some type of following on some platform
but yeah mainly emails emails are still
working Mester bought leads are good
maybe try to diversify between emails
and metro bought leads kind depends on
the niche but messer bots get really
high open rates so if you know what i
put that together do that right so next
thing i would say is get into some niche
and build a list slash brand okay so you
got to think long term on that so
getting getting into some type of niche
building a list don't just focus on
initial ROI focus on your three-month
long term long term value of that lead
or customer right so next thing I'd say
is you don't want to rely on Facebook
outside kind
this before but you know if you're if
you're just doing Facebook eyes you
don't want to rely on that okay so
another good thing I would do different
is you know don't rely on paid
advertising all the time have some type
of other free traffic method that you're
doing on a day to day basis and use
advertising as a way to scale that up
okay some have some type of marketing
budget you know maybe you set tuner
dollars aside every month and use that
for paid ads okay so you know paid ads
is really just a way to scale up your
business and you know you're looking for
some type of R or I write return on
investment so think of it as think of
paid advertising as an investment for
your business K you don't only want to
be investing you know for your business
you want to have a business and then use
that money to invest right so pay use it
for paid apps k don't just rely on pay
that so yeah I hope you guys cannot
understand what I'm saying but you know
have some type of other thing let's go
the next slide so have something else
too okay so this is what I'm trying to
say like now you know you also want to
have some type of platform or system
that you work on every day and put out
content and maybe get some free traffic
that way then you'd pay use paid ads to
scale up that thing okay so you know for
example okay having a Pinterest with
daily content and getting really good at
mastering Pinterest and then the money
you're getting from Pinterest you know
maybe you're in lots of free traffic
you're figuring out pictures you're
becoming like the king or queen of
Pinterest in your niche and let's say
you're getting lots of free traffic
you're getting some sales then invest
all that money you're making into paid
ads like Facebook Ads right and using
the money to invest in your business
okay so just kind of scale up more just
for a faster approach right so that's
kind of what do you want to do you know
it's it's gonna be a lot more beneficial
for you to have some type of you know
free thing you're doing every day that
it'll eventually you know be really good
in a year's time two years time and then
also you know having paid ads on the
side to kind of scale it up right so
that's what I'd say and then you know
you can use like Pinterest or you know
you can use an email list where your sin
email cheerless everyday get really good
email marketing or you know YouTube
channel right or website slash blog or
Facebook group slash page you know all
these platforms you want to focus on
providing value you know every day
posting content on these platforms every
day now don't don't do it all once pick
one master it and then move on to the
next one right so don't try to do a
youtube channel website Facebook group
and email list all at once right only do
like one or two things at the most at
once master it and then you can move on
to other things right so you know all
these all these platforms you want to
focus on providing value so like
everything on the up front of your
business should be value and that goes
for ads too so like for example if
you're posting daily content on
Pinterest or YouTube all that stuff
should be providing value okay when
you're selling be sneaky you gotta be
sneaky sale okay so like basically you
don't want anyone to know that you're
trying to sell something okay that goes
for ads too so like on your ads you want
to give away something for free so
that's where a lead magnet comes in
you're collecting email so they don't
even know that you're trying to sell
something and then you know where your
cell is maybe on one of your emails or
at the end of your video or or maybe on
just one of your Pinterest posts a week
or you know however that works right so
you really want to be sneaky when you're
selling or provide so much value that
the costs that your audience feels like
they owe you something when you sell to
them right so another reason this works
very well is because when you're having
an audience let's say I'm Pinterest
website email list um you know you're
having a lot of warm traffic okay you
have lots of warm traffic that knows you
are that knows what you're doing that
stuff works so good for ads this is why
it's so important because when you're
when you're you know putting out ads to
your warm traffic you could sell them
okay
so like like I said here unless it's a
warm retargeting list that already
trusts you or your brand okay don't
don't try to sell unless it's a warm
retargeting list okay so that's why it's
so important to provide value on a
certain you know platform because they
already know and trust you you could
target add to them insulting that way on
your content you're not selling at all
by on your ads your retargeting just
people who watch your content or see
your content or on your email list
you're selling to them on your ads that
way you're not trying to sell the cold
traffic it makes no sense right you want
to the only thing you want to do cold
traffic is bring them into your funnel
okay bring them into your email list
bring them into whatever you're doing
and then sell the warm traffic okay
there's no point at all in trying to
sell the cold traffic okay it just won't
work it won't convert maybe 10 years ago
did but today it doesn't work okay so
that's the next thing I'd say I know
it's a little bit of ramp but to sum up
yes Facebook ads are still profitable
but focus on the long term okay think
brand billing think long term think
three months in advance gay if you just
think everything you do three months in
advance you'll do good right so I see so
many people trying to run these
campaigns but you know they just end up
losing money because they don't test
enough and they don't have enough money
to really get the ad profitable they're
not getting enough data they don't
understand how it works
so that's that's kind of why I say is
you really focus on a free traffic
method first and then use paid ads as
kind of like an investment to bring
people more more people under your
funnel right so really what you want to
do is just focus on giving and not
receiving and you know have some type of
platform for putting out your content
every day and then use the extra money
for paid ads for the long-term results
right so three remember guys think three
months not three days so that's kind of
wraps up this video guys hope you guys
