video today I want to talk about how to
make money online in 2018 not just how
to make money online but the best way to
make money online here in 2018 I always
depth of value this isn't gonna be fluff
and filler I'm not gonna deliver to you
guys another tactic but I'm gonna show
you guys exactly how I'm building my
business as I build it I do it every
single one of my videos so if you knew

what is the secret what's the real
secret to building a long-term passive
residual predictable income here in 2018
it's very simple look at what all the
successful people are doing out there
that are creating multiple six-figure
six-figure even seven-figure online
businesses were they doing they're
building an audience
aka they're becoming influencers and
they're putting out quality content on a
consistent daily basis so you might be
asking yourself well Josh that sounds so
easy I've heard this before you know put
out consistent content but here's a deal
most of you guys that are watching my
video still aren't doing just that you
aren't putting out content because you
have excuses like well somebody out
there is already putting out content
within my niche somebody else is doing
it better you know I can't do it because
I can't speak like that person I don't
know if I'm good enough at that skill
set and you guys are totally missing the
boat if you're saying that to yourself
the way that you become successful is by
building a brand around you around your
vulnerabilities around your shirt
shortcomings around your strengths and
even around your weaknesses people don't
realize that they have a story inside
them that's worth millions
of dollars also to add to that people
follow you because of your little quarks
because of the way that you talk because
of you know the mannerisms that you have
because you know of the style of hair
that you have because of your
personality there is a market for
everyone take this market for example
the affiliate marking itch which is a
niche design and of course a lot of
people are going to come to my videos
they're gonna hate me for whatever
reason maybe I'm too outgoing maybe I
talk too much to my videos they're gonna
want somebody maybe it's a little bit
more introverted so many that they can
relate with and having said that I'm
actually a fairly introverted person
that became more extroverted when I
found the power of video marketing and
online marketing I initially started
doing video because I wanted to become a
better public speaker right I wanted to
overcome this fear that plagued me it
has plagued me my whole entire life I
wanted to be able to be heard and I felt
that video marketing was a way for me to
be heard and also to improve my
communication skills because I never
thought when I was a great communicator
right so if you go back to my first
videos I have a shot boy was I terrible
but guess what I decided to take the
leap of faith I decided to begin to
believe in myself I stopped looking at
what everybody else thought of me I
stopped caring about what everybody else
thought of me because I became
impervious to all the negative comments
and the negative feedback as I started
failing and as I kept going when I
failed and finally when I got to a point
that when I when I succeeded I realized
that failure was a prerequisite to
success and so when I see people talking
negatively in the YouTube comments when
I get negative emails I understand where
that person is at you see a newbie can't
see what I see because I've been through
the process so if you're somebody that's
brand new understand this
when somebody says negative things about
you
they are you typically in a situation
where they're insecure we where they
don't have the confidence to go out
there and shoot videos and create
content a lot of people in my youtube
comments I'll click on their profile and
I watch many many people all you guys
are commenting you know I'm watching you
guys and what I'll do is I'll click on
their profile and I notice they didn't
upload any content you have zero content
they want to learn how to make money
online but yet they're not taking action
and I understand they're not taking
action because they simply don't have
the confidence to do so right and so
what I want to do is I want to motivate
and inspire and get you to go out there
and take action that's the first step
I've got to meet people where they're at
right now I've just had a call with
somebody that I'm entering you know this
morning and I told him exactly what to
do how to do it
and they still really haven't taken that
first step why because it's all this
crazy negative nonsense that's going on
in their head so what we need to do is
take care of the underlying problem it's
not that they don't have access to all
the information that will help them get
from point A to point B it's the fact
that they don't believe in themselves
yet it's the fact that they have these
limiting beliefs it's the fact that
they're comparing themselves to other
people it's the fact that they care
about what everybody else thinks of them
and so if there's one takeaway that you
can take away from this video is of
course number one build an audience but
also don't be afraid to take action to
build that audience because the only way
you're going to build an audience is
through constant content creation okay
you've got to be willing to take cont to
make content to create content every
single day okay you're gonna have good
days you're gonna have bad days you're
gonna have great days you're gonna
notice that you're getting better you're
becoming more influential
you're gonna start tapping into inside
of yourself that you didn't even know
that you had okay but it starts with the
mindset it starts with the bull
the belief is what's going to create the
action it's what's going to move the
body into actually producing content
because most people in the online
marketplace they're getting ready to get
ready 99.9% of people fail why not
because you know this is a hard business
not because this is difficult not
because there's a ton of scammers out
there right that actually occurs of
course but it's because of this 99% of
people that take action consistently
they succeed that should tell you
something that should tell you why you
maybe you haven't succeeded up until
this point right you can continue to
look for these short-term strategies
these short-term tactics to guess what
your brand will be identified with that
tactic and when that tactic is gone
guess what your brand is gone you're
gone so you don't want to build a
product you don't want to put all your
you know sort of speak all your money on
black if we're playing roulette here
what you want to do is you want to
diversify you don't want to be known for
one thing like I would just want to be
known for the YouTube guy I want to be
known for a spectrum of things I want to
be known for that guy that's helping
people build a life and business full of
freedom passion and fulfillment and I
know that if I build influence and if I
build an audience on YouTube and if
YouTube goes down tomorrow I can take my
audience elsewhere right and so what you
want to do is you want to start building
an audience on one platform whether
that's YouTube it's Instagram its
Twitter its Facebook pick one platform
right don't get distracted by all the
all the other platforms out there and
start creating consistent content on
that platform after you do that complete
stuff number one and I know I harped on
mindset a lot because this is the step
that's so simple but people just don't
take that first step they don't take
action they don't believe in themselves
so after you build that belief
do you work on your mindset after you
move your body into action after you are
okay with failure and you fill so many
times you finally reach a point where
you're succeeding what you can now do is
then monetize your audience you can
start making money from your audience
and we're not just talking about
monetizing through the YouTube partners
program we're talking about the big
picture here you can sell your own
products your own services if you're a
fitness expert right if you're a real
estate agent if you're a lawyer you want
to give advice on laws to bring in
clients right if you sell insurance
whatever it is that you do you can sell
your own products and services to that
audience that you just built so many
people are looking to build the audience
and monetize at the same time and so
they have become these slimy used-car
salesmen and they don't want to be but
they turned out to be that way what you
guys want to do is you want to give give
and then ask as Gary Vee says jab jab
right hook right and so you want to
monetize through your own products
through of course the YouTube partners
program through ad revenue and through
affiliate marketing affiliate marketing
is how I pretty much built my whole
entire business it's what allowed me to
go from $20,000 in debt and broke and a
college dropout working retail jewelry
for eight years to be able to learn this
new skill set known as internet
marketing being able to travel the world
buy this brand new beautiful house and
help people create a life and business
full of freedom alright and you can do
it too you guys can do it too so
affiliate marketing is so great because
you don't have to worry about overhead
you don't have inventory you can sell
digital products
you can't sell physical product but
those are fulfilled by third party
companies all you need to focus on is
building that audience
connecting with that audience and let
the product owner do all the work for
you right and I've got a link in the

to build an affiliate marketing business
I also got some you know other videos on
this channel that goes into more depth
of how to pick a product the different
marketplaces out there how to set up an
automated system emails all the techie
stuff and that's all great but the
problem is is I give away my best stuff
for free but people still don't take
action why do you think that is it's the
belief factor right and I keep going
back to this belief factor that's the
x-factor
that's the difference between the launch
NORs and the entrepreneurs entrepreneurs
respect other entrepreneurs even
successful entrepreneurs respect the
newbie entrepreneur why and they respect
the process of failure they're not going
to laugh at them they're not gonna
ridicule them because they were in your
shoes I was in your shoes if you're
scared of shooting videos if you are
scared of what your friends family and
other people are going to think of you I
get it I understand I was there but
guess what I had a mentor that believed
in me more than I believed in myself and
that mentor pushed me indirectly he
wasn't there right next to me saying
Josh let's go let's take the next step
no but he did tell me all it took was
one phone call he said Josh I believe in
you I've helped a lot of people
throughout this process and it's not
about being smart necessarily it's about
being consistent the law of averages
will work out you can suck at your craft
and you can still outwork somebody else
there could be that amazing salesman
that knocks on ten doors they sell nine
people you can be that person that
knocks on 100
and sells ten people guess here wins you
win so once I realized that I was like
okay that's the strategy in my business
it's not about necessarily like waiting
to give the best value and waiting to
feel like you know I'm worthy enough to
finally take action I'm not waiting to
to make sure that my website looks
perfect or my Instagram looks perfect
because I know if I do that as a
perfectionist
I will never get it done so what I've
realized is when I feel fast I succeed
fast and so what I've been focusing on
ever since you know I you know got
started in this industry and realized
that failure was a part of the process
I'm like I've realized I'm gonna have
winners and losers the law of averages
will work out in my favor if I just take
massive action and even if I have more
losers and than winners I know that my
strength is consistency and taking
massive action so it really doesn't
matter whether this article is gonna get
views or whether this video is gonna get
views or whether I'm gonna sell this
person because I understand that if I
wake up every day with the intention to
go out there and give my best the
numbers will work out okay so what do we
cover it up into this point amongst a
bunch of things right we cover some
mindset stuff we talked about how
important it is to build an audience you
know because you're you know you or your
brand your brand is not a product your
brand is not a service your brand is not
a network marketing company your brand
is not an Amazon product your brand is
you your personality people are gonna
want to join you because of you people
are gonna want to join you because of
your quirky personality people are gonna
want to join you in the affiliate
marketing niche not because you know
this markets so competitive that's it
that's it that's a myth people will want
to join you because of you regardless of
how much you know they'll feel
comfortable with you it's all about the
invisible it's what they see when they
at the computer screen and as they see
you talking on camera right a lot of
people can't explain it but they're
gonna join you because of you not
because this person talks better or this
person sounds better I know that from
experience I remember in one video I
think I like coughed I let people know
that I was sick or something and some
some girl reached out to me I won't
forget this she emailed me she's like
wow I realized that you're a really
human being because you coughed and you
you know sneeze and you know you said
that you were sick and that made me want
to join you because you're just you're a
human like everybody else so it wasn't
because I knew everything it's because
she resonated with me on a deep level
right so you know I hope this video has

you go out there and you start creating
content because that's gonna be the
lifeblood of your business your content
is sort of your foundation and you know
it's it's your base it's where your
tribe is at your tribe you know is what
you cultivate through your content and
those are gonna be raving fans raving
followers people that will follow you
till the end because they love your
insecurities because you're authentic
because you're real because you're not
afraid to expose yourself so this
business is really a game against you
it's not a game against the world focus
on doing better tomorrow than what you
did today and your life will change
so the key my friend in this video is to
go out there let the law of averages
work in your favor build an audience
build a brand find out what you stand
for plant your flag what is your mission
statement what were you put on this
earth to do and whatever that is
underneath that will be the content that
represents that vision statement for
example - helping people build a life in
business for freedom passion fulfillment
you know freedom being helping people
generate wealth right helping people
make money online you know passion being
enjoying what you do
and fulfillment is having good health
having good relationships with your
friends your family and yourself so
there's so many different things I can
talk about on this channel for personal
development too you know juicing to your
wealth creation to real estate you know
investing Forex affiliate marking right
which is what I love is I like having
more of a general YouTube channel
because that allows me if I grow out of
affiliate marketing there's tons of
other stuff that I can talk about
because it falls under my mission
statement so find out what your mission
statement is create content that
resembles that mission statement and
never ever ever quit I hope you guys
