I'm starting a brand new project in

affiliate marketing I'm building my

brand new niche Authority websites and I

was digging into keyword research using

paid tools using free tools and reading

a lot of articles trying to update my

knowledge on keyword research and SEO

and I stumbled upon this method in

particular that is really beginner

friendly and it's absolutely 100 100%

free

that I'm going to show you in this video

how you can do that and this method is

really easy to find those really low

hanging fruits low competition keywords

cute phrases that you can write articles

on so you can rank your articles in

Google with pretty much no link building

whatsoever involved or with minimum

effort this method is called keyword

golden ratio and it was developed by

Doug connington from five figure niche

site cool so all the credits go to him

so without taking too much of your time

let's jump to my laptop and I will show

you what this method is all about and

how you can execute it so you can find

those low competition keywords phrases

right now so what this method is all

about this is some sort of formula how

you can find keyword phrases with enough

vol but with extremely low level of

competition so if you write a solid

piece of content an article targeting

this particular keyword you are pretty

much guaranteed to rank in Google pretty

soon and with little to no effort now

let me show you how to calculate this

formula first of all we have to find

keyword phrases that have at most 250

monthly searches so for example let's

see best running shoes for men's

marathon I already checked it does have

only 19 monthly searches it doesn't seem

a lot but this is the whole point we're

looking at keyword phrases that have

really low search volume low monthly

search volume so our competition is not

targeting these keyword phrases and we

can target them and get all the traffic

that is out there now we have to copy

this particular phrase go to google and

type in all in title column and then

paste this particular keyword phrase

press enter and we will see that there

is only 77 results in the whole internet

for this particular keyword phrase while

we search with all entitled function

this function pretty much searches for

the exact match of this particular

phrase if we search like to give you the

better understanding 77 results it's not

70 cent pages of results it's 77 results

if we scroll down we will see only three

pages of results so imagine if you write

a solid article you will hit the page

number one in no time especially

considering considering with this

Pinterest on the top spot it's like you

will outrank this Pinterest position

like literally with no problem at all

just to give you the better

understanding if we remove allentown all

in title function and press Enter

we will see instead of seventy-seven

results we will see 30 million results

it's broad match search results this

means that since there's not enough good

information for this particular exact

phrase in Google Google cannot fills the

spots with salt results with similar

searches which means if you write an

article targeting exactly these keyword

phrase Google will love your article as

long as your content is solid and

high-quality and it will put on the

first page in no time with a little to

no effort now what we have to do next

after we search for all in title we have

to take the amount of results which is

77 and we have to add 77 right here now

the ratio why it's called keyword golden

ratio the keyword golden ratio is

supposed to be 0.25 or less this is

crucial this is the whole point of this

theory if it's more than 0.25 then this

keyword is not worth targeting most

likely it will be harder to rank it in

Google with little to no effort or the

amount of work that you need to invest

in those type of keywords will not worth

it now how to calculate this ratio all I

have to do is type in the formula which

is really really simple you have to

divide see column on B column which is

going to be C 2 divided by B 2 as we can

see this ratio is higher is more than

0.25 which means that this keyword

phrase is not suitable for what we're

looking for so we're not going to write

any articles for this particular keyword

phrase because it's too low search

volume and too many search results as I

mentioned before in order to calculate

keyword called a ratio we have to look

for keyword phrases with monthly search

volume of maximum

of 250 Martha searches and with this

search volume in order to fit into this

criteria of keyword golden ratio of 0.25

or less we have to look at all entitled

results of 63 pages or less so this

keyword phrase was not suitable from the

very beginning as soon as we saw it had

77 for this reason we have to look for

other keyword phrases that would meet

this criteria of 0.25 or less now let me

show you how can semi automate this

whole process and find a lot of keyword

longtail keyword phrases in bulk

along with monthly search volume results

now what we need for this we need to

open this keyword dot IO website and

type in our kind of initial keyword

phrase pretty broad I recommend you to

type invest something well in my case is

going to be best running shoes I press

ENTER yeah I don't forget to set up to

set the the country where you are going

to search for these keyword phrases keep

it Google as well and then click search

and you will see a lot of results right

here really long tail ones and you will

see that there's 547 keyword results we

don't have to buy provision although you

are free to do so then we just copy this

entire list and then we go to search

volume dot IO and paste this entire list

then we click Submit

as you can see free version of this tool

allows you to search for only up to 800

keyword phrases per day now we can just

click here and sort out by average

monthly searches we don't want to go

lower than 30 multi search volume and

starting from here we can just copy this

entire thing and go to all the way up to

all the way up to let's say 4400 I will

explain you what you have to do with

keyword phrases that have more than 250

monthly search volume results in a

second now we just copy this entire list

and paste it in here

now we have to delete this column

panelize because we don't need it just

delete it so we have a lot of keyword

longtail keyword phrases with monthly

search volume right here what we have to

do now we have to copy each of the

keyword phrases that we have here and

insert in all in title column Google

search just like that press ENTER and

see the amount of the results if it's

higher than 63 we can include ignore

that right away or you can just type it

in totally up to you but basically we

have to fill out this field this is the

most annoying part because you have to

check all this manually now we have to

take the second one and check the

results is also higher than 63 what I

recommend you to do as you can see that

these search results are pretty broad

because a lot of people kind of

searching for best running shoes added

us even though here you can see only 30

results monthly search volumes but I'm

sure the competition is going to be

pretty high we can just take this one as

well and check ourselves and see how

many results there are as you can see

24,000 so what you can do we can just

scroll through these keyword phrases and

see which one which ones are the longest

ones and possibly the lowest competition

probably these are going to be pretty

low competition keywords phrases as you

can see this phrase has five results in

total so we have to put 5 here and bingo

we have our keyword golden ratio keyword

phrase which is less than

point 25 we have 0.16 right here so

these cues phrase definitely is going to

be the one that we can write ask for now

okay who makes the best running shoes if

we take these results 22 so we will find

another keyword phrase right here and we

can mark it as green as well so you've

got the point guys all you have to do is

check each one of them and see yourself

which is which has a ratio of less than

0.25 to make it easy to understand you

can just remove all the unnecessary

numbers right then leave just two of

them right here as well just like that

so we can see yourself which is suitable

which is not what we're going to do with

keyword phrases that have more than 250

search volume per month we are going to

check in all in title as well and all

have to find right here is the results

63 or less if is 63 or less is better

for us because the higher the monthly

search volume keeping the same amount of

results of 63 all in type of Google

results we are going to have lower and

lower ratio and less than 0.25 so guys I
