I'm gonna show you how to create an
online business that will stand the test
of time so if you're new to the channel

teaching you how to be the life in
business full freedom passion and

now I wanted to create this video
because there's so many people out there
relying on one source of traffic one
source of ways to drive website visitors
for those of you guys don't know what
traffic is and all most of you guys do
but so many people are relying on one
source of traffic to build their
business and in this day and age that's
only gonna work for so much longer
because add costs are going up on face
book you know paid advertising is
becoming more expensive that they're
also becoming more strict as far as
platforms and overall it's harder to
promote anything out there online
because people are looking for shortcuts
whether it's a shortcut paid method or a
shortcut free method well you know the
government's cracking down a lot of
these social media platforms are
becoming more knowledgeable they want of
course people to have a good experience
on the platform they want people to stay
on the platform and they're finding that
a lot of people are spamming a lot
you're noticing like a lot of times on
Facebook people are tagging you and
random posts that are linking out to
random links and there's just a lot of
unethical marketing going on and
platforms are becoming aware of this and
so they're shutting people down you know
costs are rising you know people are
realizing that there's underpriced
attention on facebook and so it's very
very hard for a lot of people to make
money unlike you know the way money was
being made back in you know 2007 2008
2009 when Google AdWords was still
fairly new and you could direct link
straight to a product and make a bunch
of money as an affiliate marketer well
in this day and age it really
doesn't work like that you need to have
both paid methods and free methods
working for you so when people come to
me and ask me Josh what's the best
traffic method out there or should I do
Twitter or should I do Instagram all
those platforms work if you work them
okay if you understand the platform if
you create native content for the
platform and if your strategy is right
for the platform so it inspired me to
create this video because I want you
guys to succeed I want you to succeed
three months down the road six months
down the road six years down the road
and 60 years down the road you know and
I've gone through a lot of experiences
you know trying to make money online
especially in the beginning where I made
a bunch of money and I lost money I made
a bunch of money I lost money and it's
because I was implementing short-term
tactics you know I had one method for
example where I'd create a bunch of
these different YouTube channels and I
put videos on all these different
YouTube channels and I'd optimize these
channels so I could gain google system
and rank at the top of the search
engines on YouTube and Google and get a
lot of traffic well that worked for a
while but then eventually you know
Google got caught up with the algorithm
realized a lot of people were spamming
and a bunch of accounts got shut down
and people lost the rankings and now
it's more important to build up large
one authority channel where you give
consistent value on that channel so they
changed they also changed their
algorithm back in 2012 I was kind of
doing the same thing except with
websites
I waited you know for example if the
keyword the search phrase that I was
trying to rank for was lose fat and
build muscle in ten days for example I
would buy the domain name lose fat and
build muscle in 10 days dot-com and then
I would create articles around that
search phrase and I would over optimize
basically and I would rank at the top
and I created about 80 websites that did
this thought I was gonna quit my job
April 2012 I lost everything because I
wasn't thinking long-term
so that's what kind of led me up to
creating you know this video amongst
other things I just explained with costs
going up and spamming that's going on on
the Internet and it's just harder it's
becoming harder to make money just on
one platform and sort of cheat the
system and so you've got to have your
eggs in different baskets but if you're
a newbie you still want to focus on one
method before you try and master
anything else but you need to be aware
of what's going on as you're building
this one platform know that at any time
that platform can change but the key is
is to adapt to those changes
most people will quit I can't tell you
how many people that I've built
businesses with that I had a bunch of
success they were sort of like one-hit
wonders and now you don't hear about
them because they're not true
entrepreneurs they don't learn how to
adapt so you need to know how to adapt
and understand that you don't own your
subscribers on Facebook you don't own
your likes on Facebook you don't own
what you think you own you know Facebook
owns your followers YouTube actually
owns your followers and so you've got to
play by their rules unless you want to
go out there and try and create a new
social media platform and get you know
the venture capital do so hire the
programmers and you know do all that
stuff which I know most of you guys
don't you guys want to make money as
quickly as possible as easily as
possible
but you need to understand how the game
is played so what I did is I created
this little chart this is actually for
my inner circle students but I wanted to
give you guys kind of an inside look on
what I'm teaching them here but let me
kind of just outline this for you so
phase one of building a business this is
like zero to $10,000 per month this is
what you would do okay you would build
an audience and you would post daily or
weekly content
preferably daily content YouTube loves
daily content Instagram loves if your PO
three to four times a day you know
Facebook loves daily content why do they
like daily content why do they like you
posting often because if you're posting
often and you have valuable information
and people are on that platform and
they're exposed to your valuable
information they're gonna stay on that
platform longer because you post quality
content okay so the more content you
post the algorithm is gonna give you a
boost
and you're most likely going to rank
your videos at the top of YouTube you're
gonna be seen in the suggested video
section you're going to be seen on
Instagram you're going to be seen on
Facebook right and so you got to be
following this first phase is to build
an audience get a following okay through
the social media platforms by just
giving not asking yet but just simply
giving you can ask if you do it very
strategically but you got to understand
sales and marketing for a newbie most
people don't know how to properly give
value and also sell so what I would do
is if you're new build that audience
first post value find out the problems
in your industry and then create videos
create post create images that help
solve those people's problems now not
all your content has to be geared
towards your business it could be part
of your you know personal life too as
well just day-to-day stuff because it's
all about also not giving you know not
just giving value business-wise but
building a relationship and sometimes
people relate with you more if they see
the inside of your life you know they
see that you like baseball they see you
like sports they see that you like
comedy movies for example right certain
TV shows so that's phase one you're
going to build an audience you're going
to get for example this is just for
YouTube you're gonna get YouTube views
you're gonna get YouTube subscribers and
you're also going to build an email list
that's just on the YouTube platform
those are the three things that you
would accomplish on YouTube you can also
go to Facebook groups and post
you can also go to public forums and
post you can also go into the YouTube
comments of other videos and help get
questions answered that people have in
the YouTube comments that the you know
creator of the YouTube channel owner is
not answering so you can do that too as
well but you want to make sure that
you're doing it ethically right so these
there's these little minor tactics that
create this big strategy of your overall
business
you can either hustle by posting in
facebook groups and doing what I just
told you or you can use leveraged free
traffic sources like YouTube like Google
you know you know like video marketing
on YouTube and blogging on you know and
leveraging the search engines to get
long-term residual traffic alright so
that's phase one build an audience
that's like the 0 to 10 K milestone now
the 10 K to the 100 K milestone is to
scale with retargeting ads and you can
actually use a separate YouTube channel
to do this and there's a certain reason
why we do it on a separate youtube
channel and that's something that I
teach in my inner circle program which
you can check out by just clicking the
link in the description below so you're
going to create a separate YouTube
channel you're going to put an ad on
that channel and then what you're gonna
do is you're gonna view an ad to people
that have viewed a video of yours in the
last two days why do we want to do that
well you're fresh in their mind they
just watched a video of yours and then
you retarget them with an ad or a video
ad that has a sells offer then you could
sell a specific product and then that's
where you make money okay this is after
you build the organic following and you
kind of implement what I like to call
the hustle phase here in phase 1 for the
next 60 90 days I promise you if you
follow this and you do an all-out blitz
and put up content for the next 60 to 90
days you'll be surprised how fast your
life can change how fast you can go from
0 to $10,000 per month now that's no
guarantee I'm just giving you what's
possible so again you're gonna scale
with retargeting ads and phase 2 by
retargeting people that are viewing
your YouTube videos if it's a you know
in your YouTube channel you can also
retarget people that have liked your
Facebook fan page or even viewed your
Facebook videos right and you can
strategically do that because what we're
doing here is initially we need to get
people to like us and know us and trust
us as cliche as that sounds we need to
do that first and most people don't
focus on that fundamental aspect of
building a business they just post a
facebook app to get somebody to buy
something without building a
relationship first so you build a
relationship on the front end by giving
massive value and then you target people
with the ads on the back end so I also
have YouTube channel placements you can
actually create an ad and put an ad on
your own YouTube channel what happens is
is when people are watching your video
and see you're out of you before your
video your click-through rate goes up
you actually pay less you know Google
AdWords will charge you less because
you're generating more clicks for them
and then your revenue is going to go up
because you're actually advertising on
your own channel so that's kind of a
sweet ninja trick that you can use as
far as YouTube's concerned now I'm
giving you guys YouTube tactics and
strategies because that's what I've
mastered I know it also works on
Facebook you can take the principles
that I'm teaching you here and apply it
to Facebook you can also retarget your
YouTube subscribers okay retargeting is
being able to follow people around that
initially viewed another piece of
material from your channel from your
Facebook page any sort of material that
you made what you can do is once they
see that material you could follow them
around the internet and view different
ads to them so that's what Admiral does
so if you want to show ads of people
that go from your YouTube channel they
watch one your videos but then they
decide to go to Facebook you can
actually follow them from YouTube to
Facebook using a dural okay using this
little this website called Admiral right
here so this is showing me what I did is
I put a little pixel on my on my capture
page on my website and it will track
and save all those visitors that go to
my capture page go to my website and
then I can follow them around on
different social media platforms and
retarget them with different ads to
encourage them to buy my stuff
okay so what we're doing is we're taking
the website visitors from phase one
we're retargeting them with YouTube ads
and Facebook ads okay based off of the
videos they viewed and the websites that
they visited after maybe they viewed a
YouTube video they clicked a link in the
description and then they went to a
website then Abril saves them and then I
can retarget them through Facebook ads
using this medium known as addle okay
hope that makes sense so that's phase
two and scaling okay and then you would
just build off of that
you would use that audience and create
what what's called look-alike audiences
in Phase two which are like the
audience's that just bought from you so
you can take the email list of the
audience that's on your email list as
well as the buyers on your email list
upload them to Facebook and even YouTube
and then create look like audiences so
these social media platforms will look
at these email addresses and then find
people that are like the people that
have these specific emails out there on
YouTube and Facebook so they can
actually take that email and know from
the email the person's demographic they
know where they live they know their age
they know their income and just by
having a little email address and they
can go out there and create look like
audiences other people that are like the
people on those emails and you could
target those people too which will help
you exponentially grow keep your ad
costs low and help you create a
successful long-term sustainable
business again I hope that's making
sense to you guys and then phase three
what we want to do is go out there not
just build on YouTube organically but
start building on Instagram organically
and like blogging organically you're
probably wondering well how do I post on
Instagram four times a day and then blog
and do all these different things and
post a YouTube
well once you get to phase three you can
actually start to hire people that will
do this for you they'll take like a
video like this splice it up put it on
Instagram for you
they'll transcribe the video and then
put it on your your website so that
takes care of the blogging for the day
and they'll optimize it for SEO purposes
and help you rank at the top of the
search engine right and so again they'll
do this daily for you and then you build
audiences right based off of the
audience's that you're building on
Instagram and on your blog and then
again retarget them create look-alike
audiences and build exponentially once
again so that's really the three phases
you guys to creating an online business
that will stand the test of time now of
course I don't have all day
to go over these in complete detail on
how you actually build an audience how
you actually scale with retargeting and
what Google AdWords looks like and how
to you know set up a retargeting pixel
and all that stuff I of course don't
have time to do all that stuff but if
