on the channel I hope you guys all had a
great weekend so this video topic how to
do affiliate marketing with zero
followers is probably one of the most
common questions I get asked around
affiliate marketing simply because a lot
of people they don't want to take the
time up to build you know a massive
following on YouTube right whether
that's they see people with 200,000
subscribers they see people with you
know 50,000 followers on Instagram and
you're probably thinking to yourself
yeah that's great it's great you guys
are making money but how can I do the
same without taking you know three years
to build up a huge following online and
it really is actually possible to make
money with affiliate marketing without
any followers so that's kind of what I
want to answer in this video today just
based off my experience right so when it
comes to affiliate marketing right you
always got to look at it like this right
there's two ways to make money okay
there's free traffic and then there's
paid traffic so with affiliate marketing
obviously you have to drive traffic no
matter what right you have to send some
type of people right traffic is just
people online to a product to buy from
make money so when it comes to the topic
of having zero followers you know I
don't I don't know why people want to
make money with affiliate marketing
without any followers because if you
think about it it's a lot easier to make
money with affiliate marketing with
followers because you know followers are
people that already listen to your
content already know who you are already
like you already trust you right it's
gonna be that much easier to send them
to the page right without a video or put
links in your description create a
Facebook group right send those people
through your sales funnel or to the
products you're recommending right it's
a lot easier to do it that way and if
you're not going to do it that way
you're gonna have to drive pay traffic
and with paid traffic of course you're
going to be competing with other
marketers who have you know pretty great
experience right so if someone's a
beginner if you're watching this as a
beginner and you want to make money with
affiliate marketing
I honestly would not recommend going
strained to pay traffic because like I
said guys you're gonna be competing with
people who are spending their money
right and people aren't just gonna spend
their money for fun they're gonna make
sure that they have a solid offer they
have solid copy they have a solid you
know mentor they know what they're doing
right before they just blow it it's
really easy to blow a couple thousand on
ads it's kind of what I'm trying to say
right so I recommend a lot of people
start with free traffic now when it
comes to free traffic what does that
mean right well with the Philly
marketing you want to cater to a niche
specific group of people right so maybe
that's a group of people about the
ketogenic diet or a group of people
about you know the best iPhones are the
best phones in general right comparing
all the phones showing all the benefits
of the different phones right or I could
just be about skincare right and you can
promote a bunch of skin care products
and stuff to help people's face look
better and feel better and all that good
stuff so with that in mind how do we get
free traffic with a group of niche
specific people
well what you'll notice is these group
of niche specific people maybe it's a
group of 50,000 people per month who are
interested in a certain topic right or
maybe there's a hundred thousand people
per month interested in that topic well
what those people are doing every month
is they're searching different stuff on
YouTube right they're joining different
Facebook groups around that niche
they're searching different stuff on
Google right they're doing all these
kinds of things and what it does is it
gives us marketers data right data for
our content data for stuff we should be
doing right so as an affiliate marketer
you really just want to go where your
target market is right so if your target
market is on YouTube right and they're
searching a bunch of stuff on YouTube
and there's all kinds of products you
can make videos around and you know all
kinds of videos that you can help people
make buying decisions
right whether that's reviewing a product
or showing the pros and cons of a
product or comparing different products
or showing some benefits about the
products that a lot of people namin know
about or maybe you're just showing
people how to do something and maybe you
have to use a product to do what they're
trying to do
right and that's really what it comes
down to is just delivering what these
people already want and really just
helping them make a buyer decision
because that's really our only job as an
affiliate and like I said you can do
that through YouTube video you can do
that through a Facebook group you can do
that through a sales funnel right if
you're selling a little bit higher
ticket product maybe a recurring product
take them through a sales funnel collect
the lead right build more trust with
them build more connection with them and
that's gonna help you out more right so
when we come back to the topic of how to
do affiliate marketing with zero
followers well you know for me that's
not even a question like I don't even
pay attention to followers that's not
relevant to me at all right and believe
me I used to I used to obsess about it
but once I realized that oh with my
youtube channel only at twenty thousand
subscribers I'm able to make you know
probably twice as much then a lot of
people who have a hundred thousand two
hundred thousand three hundred thousand
subscribers right so really what it
comes down to is your niche what your
audience wants where they are right so
it's not a question of you know how can
I do affiliate marketing with zero
followers it's really about how can I
provide value to this niche that I chose
to be in right that I'm gonna help
people make fire decisions I'm gonna
help people you know whatever they're
searching on Google or YouTube I'm gonna
provide content for those people so I
can help them out that way I'm gonna
give some lead magnets of where I'm in
and give some free stuff away for these
people and maybe upsell some higher
ticket stuff in case they really want to
reach their goal faster or they really
want to solve their problem faster right
that's the mindset you need right the
mindset that a lot of people have is
okay how can I do this with zero
followers right I don't want to put out
a bunch of content I just want to throw
up the math on Facebook on YouTube and
maybe I'll just get some clicks and you
know maybe I can make a full-time income
that way right guys trust me it doesn't
work like that you have to really figure
out how to provide value in a certain
marketplace right and finding those blue
oceans those untapped products those
untapped niches all that different stuff
are very important factor
to your success with affiliate marketing
so anyways guys really what it comes
down to is if you really think about it
right the internet is how we communicate
with people there's all kinds of
different ways to get traffic right but
if you really think about it followers
it's just a cherry on top right all
followers is gonna do is number one is
going to help you rank better on YouTube
and Google right it's gonna help you get
more instant traffic to your landing
page to your offers to your videos to
your new videos right and also it's
going to give you authority in the niche
right so Authority is gonna help you
recommend products because if you have a
lot of authority in a niche right people
are gonna look up to you people are
gonna trust you and more importantly
people are gonna buy the products that
you recommend alright guys so with that
