How To Get A Youtube Creator Award - Ryan Hildreth

hey this is Brian hildreth and I just
want to share with you something I got
in the mail just the other day so
YouTube sent me this box and I opened it
up and basically this is what they sent
me guys so this is a YouTube creator
award for getting for receiving passing
a hundred thousand subscribers on
YouTube and this presented to me Ryan
hildreth so i just want to thank you for
supporting my channel i never thought
that i would have achieved something
like this and you know it's just an
award it's nothing you know it's nothing
crazy but being able to impact you know
a hundred thousand people or more
through my youtube channel in a positive
way is something that I've always wanted
to achieve and this is just kind of a
symbolization of that so I just want to
thank you for supporting me and my
journey on my channel I never thought
that in just over a year I would get a
creator or just like this okay
pretty crazy I remember about four to
five years ago I was watching youtubers
primarily in the fitness industry like
Matt Ogas and Christian guzmán because
I'm really into working out and going to
the gym and bodybuilding and
weightlifting and I told myself like man
one day I'm gonna start a YouTube
channel okay and that day never came
around it was just always like I was
consuming more content and telling
myself I'm gonna start a YouTube channel
a fitness channel whatever it may be
whatever type of channel I might end up
starting and I never did okay and that
was the hardest hurdle to get over so I
pretty much I got to that point where I
was in college and I was working a job
that I wasn't really passionate about
and I ended up dropping out of college
and quitting that job to pursue you know
YouTube building a business online
multiple businesses online and just
building my personal brand and that's
kind of when I took that leap of faith
and said you know what I'm just gonna
make a youtube video and it was funny
the first youtube video I ever made
my little brother filmed me and I it
took me about 30 takes to just get a
video like this to upload to YouTube so
what I'm gonna do in this video
share with you the three strategies on
how to get a YouTube creator award
yourself how do how to reach a hundred
thousand subscribers in just over a year
maybe even under a year and how you can
achieve that for yourself as well if if
this is something maybe you've always
wanted to do is start a YouTube channel
maybe you're afraid to talk in front of
the camera maybe it's just you know it's
hard for you to come up with the time to
make a youtube video this is gonna be
the three strategies which might seem a
little simple up top but we're gonna
dive in depth with what I did with these
strategies okay so the first one the
number one thing is consistency okay I
know this probably seems very basic but
you need to be uploading at least right
now because it's there's so many more
YouTube creators coming in to the space
that you need to be uploading at least
three to four times a week minimum okay
and when I first started I started off
with about yeah I mean to be honest it
was like one video every other week and
then eventually it became like three
videos a week and then eventually it
became seven videos a week meaning I
would upload every single day okay and I
know I don't do that anymore because
it's just so time consuming but that's
what it takes to be able to grow a
YouTube channel to a hundred thousand
you have to be consistent all the best
creators out there like logan paul jake
paul you know those big creators they're
uploading every single day sometimes
even twice a day and you have to be
consistent with that okay the other
thing is being consistent also means
developing the skill sets and the habits
to be able to create videos like this
okay it's hard it's hard to get up every
morning film a video and upload it edit
it make a thumbnail right that takes
about one to three hours depending out
quick you do it sometimes it even takes
me four hours just to you know be able
to come up with a good video idea and
then a thumbnail so being consistent is
also developing a skill set and a habit
okay a habit of uploading a video three
to four times a week and then maybe even
seven days a week once you you know get
deep into it okay
and being able to talk in front of the
camera what I did was I would film
myself every single day for two weeks
and I wouldn't upload the videos I would
just film myself and watch it because
the hardest thing at first is watching
yourself make a video I mean when I
first watched my videos I was like oh my
god I can't believe how I look how I
sound I just did not like it so being
consistent is also accepting yourself
and how you sound on camera and how you
look and being okay with that no matter
what anyone else thinks okay because you
will get people that don't like your
content you will get people that
absolutely love your content and
remember you got to make you you're
making these videos for the people who
want to continue to watch you and are
inspired by you so you have to be okay
with what you look like in front of the
camera number two okay this is a big one
that not a lot of people are doing but
the people who do utilize this tactic
are growing exponentially and that's
collaborations okay collaborations is
number two
once I started collaborating with other
YouTube creators I was able to reach new
audiences okay and it's so key because
when I would upload the videos of my
collaboration and I would put the
person's name in the title or you know
whatever I mean I've collaborated with
so many different people in my niche of
making money online whether it's a
Shopify guru like Dan DaSilva or you
know Ricky Gutierrez like a stock trader
you know Tanner me and Tanner made
videos together from the beginning I
mean there's a Graham Stefan he's in
real estate there are so many you know
creators that I collaborated with and I
noticed when I would upload my videos
and or they would upload a video and
link my channel I would get so much more
boost in my views in my subscribership
right there would be so many people
coming in subscribing to my channel and
that shows the YouTube algorithm that
hey this person is the real deal they're
collaborating with other people and you
get that spike in your channel and when
you're able to get that spike what you
do is take it
image of that spike in views and
subscribers and you start producing even
more content so every time I
collaborated with someone I would make
like you know I would definitely do at
least five days of videos in a row right
after that so that people have
continuous content to watch okay so
collaborating is a big one and that's
probably one of the only ways that
you'll really get that spike up in
subscribers and you will reach that a
hundred thousand milestone okay
also there's things like that going back
to consistency like you know there's
videos that will just go viral based off
of the keywords that you you know put in
the title or your SEO was good use vid
IQ or to buddy and you're able to rank
your videos very well but collaboration
is one of the most the easiest organic
ways to really reach new reach a new
audience and grow your channel number
three okay is the most probably the most
important is being independent of the
outcome okay number three being
independent of the outcome and what does
that mean you're not making YouTube
videos for a ward like this okay when I
first started making YouTube videos I
didn't think I was getting an award like
this and I really didn't care about
though award okay because for me there
was a bigger purpose there's a bigger
why a bigger reason of why I'm making my
videos and that's to inspire people that
were once in a mindset and point in
their life that I was right I was
struggling in school I was lonely I you
know I was pretty much working to pay
for school in my apartment and literally
I was broke okay and I never wanted to
be in that position again and I saw all
these other people being able to make
money online and do different things to
generate passive income or you know
active income but just more than I was
making and I was like I want to be in
that position so once I got to that
position and I was making some income
that wasn't reliant on a nine-to-five
job or a college degree or anything like
that I wanted to help inspire people to
do the same
because I was there I was depressed I
was lonely I didn't know what I wanted
to do and it's hard to find your purpose
in life when you're in that mindset
because it's just hard to get out of
that but if you can watch content like
mine and my content helps you get out of
that that mindset of just being like
stuck then then I've done something good
for the world right I've inspired
someone to make their life better take
action right so that's what that was the
outcome that I wanted out of my channel
all right and I was independent of
outcomes like this right Awards I don't
really care about the work it's cool but
it's just a it's a piece of metal and it
really doesn't do anything for me it's
just sitting there you know I could put
it on the wall but you know I know that
I've helped you know over a hundred
thousand people and hopefully I've
inspired them to do great things so the
independent of the outcome like know
your goals in the your reason why you're
creating your channel and that will give
you more motivation more consistency and
more collaborations right people will
see that genuineness in your videos
they'll say wow this person is very like
they just love to make YouTube videos
and help people out
I want to collaborate with them right
you'll be more consistent because you'll
know your purpose you'd be like well I
don't feel like making a video this
morning but I know there's someone who
probably doesn't even feel like getting
out of bed and going to school or their
nine-to-five job and hates their life
hopefully I can change their attitude
and inspire them to do great things
right so that's gonna keep you
consistent and then being independent of
the outcome meaning maybe you won't get
the award right maybe you won't get the
award maybe you won't get a hundred
thousand views on your video maybe you
won't get a hundred thousand subscribers
that's fine as long as you're helping
that one person right as long as you're
helping that one person achieve
something great so hopefully this video
gave you some inspiration to you know if
you watch this far obviously you're
someone who is thinking about creating a
YouTube channel and maybe a personal
brand
I do have mentors
the first link will be in the down in
the description if you want to you know
really take this make this a full-time
thing build a personal brand reach a
hundred thousand subscribers in a year
generate you know thousands of dollars
through your social media whatever it is
I have mentorship down below but
hopefully this video can help you out
and give you those three tips that will
you know help you be more consistent
will help you collaborate with other
people and then will help you be
independent of the outcome so that you
can just keep grinding and keep pushing
so hopefully this video helped you out
and I'll see you in the next one thank
you guys
