here welcome back to the channel and in

this video today I've got quite a unique

video for you today I'm gonna be talking

about fortnight

yes fortnight if you haven't heard a

fortnight you're probably older than I

am or you been living under a rock for

quite a while now

I don't specifically play fortnight but

I do pay attention to other youtubers I

do pay attention to the younger crowd

and exactly what they're doing to build

an income online to build an income from

gaming and man it's crazy how much

eSports is gaining traction how fast

it's growing and how many youngsters are

making money from just playing video

games and posting their content on

YouTube in this case I'm not gonna have

you play video games and post content

and create a channel from your own video

game plays but I'm gonna show you how to

take other people's gameplay and

literally just watch fortnight and make

anywhere between a hundred dollars a day

all the way up to over a thousand

dollars a day so number one why

fortnight what we want to do is you want

to do our market research and find the

trends we want to be able to ride the

trends of different popular events

different you know whether it be in the

gaming world whether it be in politics

or whether it be in you know movie

releases the idea here with this

strategy with this tactic because this

can be applied to anything is to ride

the wave of trends caps trends when

they're just starting or when they're

still going up okay

and one of the great things about

fortnight is it's not going anywhere for

a while so we're gonna be able to

leverage fortnight on YouTube

specifically and make quite a bit of

money for it there's plenty of room out

there to be able to Pearson marketplace

and you know kind of take your own piece

of the pie so with that said what we do

is we go to Google Trends and we first

do market research so what I did is I

came here and I typed the word fortnight

in

now when I do that and I press search

I'm going to jump over here to this

window this is just the search that I

just made you guys can see that the

trend for fortnight is going up quite a

bit right it's trending really really

hot right now and you can see that it's

popular just by looking at this chart

here and then what we can do is we can

scroll down and we can look at related

queries that are popular to fortnight so

it looks like people are typing in

fortnight Mobile quite a bit fortnight

skins for an IMAP fortnight battle

royale battle royale which is the actual

name of the whole entire title of the

video game because I went and did some

some research again I'm not a player of

fortnight but I'm always on the lookout

for you know different income streams

different ways that I can make money and

also that I can help others make money

I've got so many projects going on right

now I don't have enough time to focus on

you know monetizing fortnight therefore

I'm giving you guys you know sort of

what I would do if I did have the time

and how exactly I would take this video

game and this writing trend and make

money from fortnight so fortnight the

full name is fortnight battle royale and

you guys can see if we go to epic games

calm for slash fortnight you guys can

see that it's free one of the reasons

why it's so popular is the fact that

it's free it's a multiplayer game so

it's you know available to you know many

people on many platforms from Xbox one

to PC to ps4 to Mac iOS and so on and so

forth so tons of people playing this we

know it's popular we know there is you

know it's trending we know that we can

make some money from it I'm gonna show

you guys the proof actually right now

and how you can make money from

leveraging this game so what I would do

first is go to youtube and just simply

type in fortnight or fortnight gameplay

okay and we know that you know kids

absolutely love watching game play video

games just like

you know movies and I've got a small

percentage of people on my channel that

are you know 18 years or younger so this

is something that you guys could

definitely monetize obviously if you're

older than that you can still you know

monetize the trend of this game we're

going to show you exactly how to do that

but we want to see the view count again

we're doing some market research we want

to see how popular this game really

really is and we want the results over

here on Google Trends to validate you

know on YouTube that in fact this game

is popular so obviously it's a given you

can see two hundred forty two thousand

views here this was just uploaded three

days ago this one has one point five

million views uploaded three months ago

three hundred forty-one thousand so we

got views and the hundreds of thousands

and even the millions four million views

here four million views there you know

so on and so forth so what I did is I

decided to go to a couple of these

channels taught you guys how to reverse

engineer you know the YouTube algorithm

and reverse-engineer channels and really

figure out how they're being successful

so I went through a couple channels one

was this scissors and this other one was

ninja this one has almost two million

subscribers this one has twelve million

subscribers and with gaming channels man

you can grow your subscriber base very

very quickly and profit very very fast

so how do you actually make money from

you know your YouTube channel well

there's a program called the YouTube

partners program again I've talked about

it in other videos but for those of you

that haven't seen my past videos

basically there's advertisers that are

willing to advertise on top of the

content that you make and that that

advertisement will show up for example

when I click this specific video you'll

see that this blue host ad right here

are showing up when I click any of these

links right here either this link or

this link Google makes money and so does

the content creator the channel owner

right and so when you have videos that

are getting thousands and 100

hundreds of thousands of views you know

that's quite a bit of money in your

pocket okay so this is one channel that

I went ahead and I looked at you know

this is pretty much all about fortnight

he's built his whole audience for the

most part from you know fortnight and

fortnight gameplay okay same with this

channel right here ninja twelve point

seven million subscribers again you can

see that this was uploaded an hour ago

one hundred twenty five thousand views

already so what we can do is we can

actually go to socialblade.com and

figure out exactly how much these

channels on average is kind of an

estimate

this isn't like definite numbers but

it's an estimate of how much each of

these channels are making so I went to

socialblade.com

I typed in the channel name of the

scissors and he's making anywhere

between five thousand dollars a month

all the way up to ninety thousand

dollars a month now that's quite a big

range so I take the lower end right here

five thousand dollars a month five

thousand six hundred dollars to be exact

he divide that by 30 days it's right

around one hundred and eighty eight

dollars so easily over a hundred dollars

a day by just uploading fortnight videos

so I'm gonna show you how to implement

this formula without having to do any

gameplay a fortnight without having to

even have fortnight whatsoever but just

writing the trend and using clips off of

a website called twitch downloading

those clips to your computer and then

creating sort of a a montage video and

then uploading that montage to YouTube

day in and day out this is gonna take it

anywhere between you know maybe a half

hour or maybe two the most two hours a

day but working two hours a day to make

at least you know a few hundred dollars

a day is pretty awesome and as much as

over a thousand dollars so here's an

example of ninja's channel you can see

that he's doing anywhere between it says

here forty-eight thousand dollars a

month that's over sixteen hundred

dollars a day just in front end you know

Adsense

revenue and it says he's making almost

all the way up to seven hundred seventy

two thousand dollars per day now again

I'm taking the low end here and you guys

can see the statistics day by day now

this isn't a hundred percent accurate

because if you go to my channel or if

you research my channel with socialblade

you can see that it says I'm making

anywhere between thirty nine dollars to

six hundred seventy dollars a month

which is way low I mean this is

undercutting so you guys you guys can

obviously see if I go to my actual

channel my revenue for the last month

and I've only got right around twelve

thousand subscribers right now of course

my channel is in a different niche so

I'm not gonna expect to get as many

subscribers but my monetization I could

make more money because this is a niche

where people are willing to spend more

money than you know the gaming niche now

they're willing to spend money in the

gaming it's just not as much as you know

the online business affiliate marketing

you know make money online niche right

so my estimated revenue is almost two

thousand dollars last month it actually

was two thousand dollars the month of

May so you guys can see that this isn't

100% accurate it's just a guesstimate so

since this is low maybe these two are

super low - so maybe these guys are

making a lot more money that I'm even

explaining here so let's talk about the

formula how does this work

how do we pierce a specific target

market and what we want to do is we

first want to go to YouTube now that

we've done market research we want to do

topic research okay now we want to start

typing in fortnight and we want to use

YouTube's instance search to finish the

sentence for us this is going to tell us

that people are typing in fortnight

funny moments or fortnight mobile 49

season four fortnight dance so on and so

forth so what I'll do is I'll just start

typing and after fortnight I'll start

with like a you can see all dances

animation before I didn't chill

fortnight and

Archy acres treasure map I can type in

be bouncer best skills building tips

blockbuster skin so like your whole

channel isn't just about for tonight

gameplay but what we want to do is we

want to drill deep drill deep into a

specific niche so your channel could be

about fortnight building tips okay and

just instead of fortnight gameplay

because fortnight gameplay is very very

competitive so we want to go a sub-niche

deeper than just fortnight gameplay and

that's where we can just start typing in

the beginning letters of the alphabet

each letter of the alphabet and get

different ideas so you we've got

fortnight building tips best kills best

moments and our whole entire channel can

be built around each of these little

topics here there's fortnight if I typed

in an S fortnight shopping car so let's

say we use fortnight shopping cart as an

example what we would do is we jump over

here and we would use this little

tagline here we would type in all in

title call in and then in quotations we

would put fortnight shopping cart okay

this is gonna tell us the competition

that we're up against it looks like

we're up against exactly five thousand

two hundred twenty results not too bad

that's not too bad whatsoever I would

say anything beneath you know ten

thousand results isn't too bad and one

of the great things we're going to be

able to leverage you know these channels

that we're seeing here we're gonna be

able to piggyback off of these channels

to sort of catapult our channel into

getting subscribers and views and start

generating some revenue now you do have

to have at least a thousand subscribers

before you can monetize for the YouTube

partners programs start bringing in

money but the purpose of this video is

to help you do that quickly and to

eventually get you from you know a

hundred dollars a day to maybe over a

thousand bucks a day using this specific

method so what we're gonna do is we're

gonna create a channel around fortnight

shopping cart maybe it's a fortnight

shopping cart gameplay maybe that's the

name of our

channel or fortnight shopping cart

moments could be the name of your

channel right so we would do that and

then what we would do is we would go to

twitch dot TV okay when we get here

you're going to see that fortnight is

number one as far as viewers you can

again see how popular this video game is

so what I would do now is click on

fortnight and you're going to come to a

page that looks like this and you want

to use this search feature and what you

want to do is type in fortnight shopping

cart okay

and we're going to click enter and you

can see down here it looks like we

didn't even need to click enter but we

can click any one of these now some of

this gameplay is really long so what I

tend to do is I'll just click on one of

these here and then I'm going to go back

here and I'm going to pause this and

what I want to do is I want to filter

through my results and I should be able

to do that it looks like it's popping up

right here for some reason it's not

popping up the advanced search feature

but anyways we wanted we want to use

this advanced search feature we want to

select highlights and then short videos

and then the newest videos and then I

just simply typed in fortnight shopping

cart and look we have all these

different videos that we can download

individually put in a montage add some

background royalty-free music

and upload it to YouTube and we're not

infringing on copyright because by law

we're actually allowed to use small you

know 20 to 30 second clips maybe even a

little bit longer than that and sort of

put a montage together using those clips

and add background music and it actually

abides by YouTube's copyright laws okay

and you could simply go to Google

type in YouTube copyright you know laws

and you can get more information about

that but if you follow exactly what I'm

telling you in this video you should be

just fine

so what we would do is we'd select the

video you could see that I've done that

here and this is a shopping cart video

and what we would do is would take this

go to settings here and we would copy

the video url and then we would jump to

google and type in download twitch

videos we'd select this second one here

video - download ko4 slash site and it's

going to lead us here and then what we

would do is we would paste that URL we

just copied which isn't that we'd copy

the URL and we would paste it right here

we don't want one second on the time so

we're just going to delete that you're

gonna select download and then what it

will do is it will work and it will

download this I click select proceed and

it would automatically download this

clip and then once it's downloaded what

we can now do is use a video editing

software so I just went to Google typed

in video editing software I'm not going

to show you guys how to edit in this

video or else it would be just so so

long but there's tons of tutorials on

YouTube if you just type in how to edit

YouTube videos you can find tons of

videos out there that show you how to do

that you can use all different sorts of

software you can use Adobe Premiere you

can use Pinnacle Studio I use iMovie

personally because I have an iMac and

it's super easy all I have to do is just

cut and then add another clip and then

cut and add another clip and then cut

it's super super easy and then what you

can do is go to a website called

bensound.com and you can download this

royalty-free music and you have this

music here and then you could add it to

the background you know lower the sound

a little bit and boom you are done so I

would spend you know 30 minutes to 2

hours downloading these clips from

twitch then you know using an video

editing software to splice them up a

little bit add some background music and

then upload them

to YouTube and then of course we want to

optimize that video so it gets traffic

okay and I'm gonna show you exactly how

to optimize your video so it gets views

so you get an unfair advantage and what

I'm going to do is I'm going to link a

video in the description that walks you

through exactly how to optimize a video

so it gets views and so it ranks at the

top of YouTube's search engine and

within the suggested video section and

even on the home page so we're not just

going to derive views from ranking in

Google so we're getting used from all

different sorts of directions I know

some people teach you guys to go to like

reddit go to a forum and then just let

our Facebook groups and paste your video

in there

you could do that it's just very time

consuming and laborious I don't want you

guys to have to do that I want you guys

to be able to use the strategies that I

use because I don't do any of that stuff

so I will give you those YouTube hacks

in the description below and again if

you want to learn how to create a good

thumbnail as well you can simply go to

youtube and type in how to create a

thumbnail and the thumbnail has a lot to

do with how well you rank how much your

video gets clicked so you want to make

sure that you have appealing thumbnails

if we go back here you can see this guy

has really appealing thumbnails and what

you can also do is go to a web site

called fiverr.com okay you can go to

fiverr.com and what I do is I go to I

use this guy right here and you can even

just type in you know right here where

it says find services YouTube thumbnails

so you can see this is a guy that I use

raka design 819 positive reviews you got

tons of people here but I usually like

to go buy the most reviews and 5 stars

this is a good one here too as well and

they just pay you know 6 bucks or $5 for

every 3 YouTube thumbnails I think it's

like $7 with the service fee and

everything but definitely definitely

worth it

to have thumbnails that get clicked also

you want to have titles that get clicked

too as well so what you want to do is

look at other successful fortnight

channels look at their titles and a lot

of times they'll use like click bake

tactics to get people to watch their

videos and you can feel free to do the

same thing so look at the videos that

are getting the most views look at the

titles and see how you can

reverse-engineer the titles and sort of

model those titles with your own videos

alright so if I just go again we go back

here type in fortnight gameplay you can

see this trolling mobile player you can

see this guy he got two hundred forty

two thousand views in three days with

this title and this you know thumbnail

there's this one to here forty kills you

know somebody probably wants to click on

that and like how the heck did that guy

get forty kills you know this is Pro

fortnight gameplay so you know using

titles and entice people to click to

that piqued curiosity is what you want

to be using okay so with that being said

that's how you pretty much make money by

watching fortnight videos and

downloading those fortnight videos and

uploading them on your own personal

fortnight channel in a specific sub

niche of fortnight so we've got

fortnight gameplay which would be like a

sub niche and then if you want to go

deep where we got fortnight shopping car

fortnight you know shotgun shotgun clips

that you're using in your YouTube

channel and just make all of your videos

about that one specific sub topic a sub

niche so with that said I hope you got

value from this video and to give you

guys a bonus what you could do is you

can monetize on the back end by selling

t-shirts that are based around fortnight

sayings fortnight maps you know you can

use ass web site called you know this

print full calm to sell t-shirts in the

description of your videos and that

would just be like a cherry on top that

would just be extra income and if you're

getting thousands of views

and you only get like 10% of people

clicking you know the the links in your

description going to purchase your

t-shirts you know if we want to do the

math we think of 10% of 10,000 that's a

thousand people that click and then

maybe I don't know five percent of those

people all right we said a thousand and

we say like five percent of those people

end up buying that's 50 people and let's

say we're selling like a $20 t-shirt

just you know it could be anywhere

between twenty thirty dollars right

that's a thousand bucks that's at the

house and dollars a day that you're

making off of t-shirts I mean that's

that's unbelievable so those are just

hypothetical numbers number crunched

really quickly but I want to see you I

want you guys to see the possibility of

having a channel like this and this is

just one strategy you guys can do this

with other videos too in different
