with another GTR rant and in this video
I'm gonna talk about how to make
marketing okay the reason I bring up
this video is because my number one
mistake in my first year in business was
that I didn't invest a large portion of
my profits back into sales and marketing
okay you know in the book launch by Jeff
Walker he talks about the he talks about
always be building your list okay what
does that mean as an online entrepreneur
okay online marketer especially when
you're selling digital products or
you're selling services online you have
to be in reinvesting your profits back
into marketing in order to generate more
leads or emails because that is your
lifeline right as an online business
that is your lifeline that is your Beach
you know the one thing that you own and
that you can constantly keep in contact
with people right what I did in my first
year of entrepreneurship and business is
that I relied solely on you know mostly
I would say mostly I said I did spend
money on advertising but a very small
percentage maybe ten percent of my
profits but I should have been spending
more like fifty to sixty five percent of
my profits back into into marketing
through Facebook advertising Google
AdWords YouTube YouTube ads and the
reason that is is because I could have
generated so many more emails right and
keep kept in contact with those people
year after year after year
okay because when you don't when you
don't have an email list right the one
thing you're relying on is your YouTube
followers your Instagram followers your
Facebook followers right but the one
thing is is that you do not own that
traffic Facebook regulates how many
views your posts are going to get how
many YouTube regulates how many views
your videos are gonna get right so they
can cap you out at a certain amount in
it now you're reliant solely on the
platform and not on something that you
actually own like emails okay the best
investments you can make in your in your
entrepreneurial career are one in
yourself in your skill sets right
training you should be spending money on
training on mentors to increase your
high income skills and then number two
you should be investing back into
Facebook ads marketing right and then
also your sales training as well because
sales and marketing are two different
things right marketing is getting the
attention maybe capturing the lead
capturing an email that's marketing
right you see my ads on the Instagram my
swipe up ads that's marketing right but
sales is the backend right so I spend
money on click funnels so that I can
have good copy and actually close the
sale online through my webinars or
through you know through my copy on my
sales funnel so sales and marketing are
essential in your success with anything
any venture that you take so
if you are a beginner entrepreneur maybe
this is your first year in
entrepreneurship or your novice maybe
you have two to three years in
entrepreneurship you should consider
spending a certain percentage of your
profits back into marketing right and
your skillset okay I would say at least
50% of your profits should go back into
your marketing and your sales right just
saying that from experience because last
year I didn't do that I wish I would
have because I paid so much in taxes
that if I would have just reinvested all
those all that you know money that I
paid in taxes back into advertising
number one I would have gotten more
probably I would say three to five
hundred thousand more emails on my list
and number two right I wouldn't have to
pay those taxes because it was all spent
and it was invested back into my
business as a business expense so just
something looking forward I wanted to
share this with you based off my
experience as you know a newer
entrepreneur obviously this is my you
know second year in full-time
entrepreneurship and I just wanted to
hopefully drop some knowledge bombs for
you and you know if this is something
that you you know but maybe you're not
practicing hopefully this video gets you
back on track to be able to spend money
on sales and marketing so that you in
your business can excel and you know
achieve great goals and you can reach
more people that's the whole point right
you can reach more people get more
customers get more leads and
you know thrive in business and
entrepreneurship that's the only way to
do it if you aren't spending money on
sales and marketing and you're relying
solely on free traffic from social media
that is coming to an end in the near
future and I promise you that because I
already see you know YouTube views and
and Instagram engagement going down
because there's more people coming into
the platform so the only way to stand
out is to really reinvest your profits
back into marketing and sales so that
you can make millions and millions of
dollars by doing so so have a certain
percentage of your profits obviously you
can calculate that out for me at least
fifty to sixty five percent rather than
ten percent and you know I'm paying
about a dollar or two per lead so I
could kind of calculate out if I spend
you know a hundred thousand on marketing
I can probably generate anywhere from a
hundred thousand emails to maybe two
hundred thousand on a good end so
