here and in this video today I want to
show you the real way to make money with
affiliate programs isn't gonna be what
you think so if you're brand new to the

marketing whether you're starting out or
whether you're you know in a position
where you really want to start
generating results you've got to know
your numbers okay it starts with math
and then after the math once you get the
logic out of the way then it's the
mindset it's the belief it's knowing
that it's possible right and it's having
those internal beliefs to reflect those
actions okay but today in this video I
want to talk about more of the logic
side the math side of things and so what
I did is I created this little this
little mathematic equation I guess you
could say around one of my products that
I'm currently selling it's not actually
an affiliate product but you can still
apply this to affiliate marketing and
one of the first things that you should
be doing before you even start promoting
a product before I even start running
Facebook Ads or even doing free traffic
is you have to understand what are my
numbers how much time is gonna cost me
or how much money is it gonna cost me to
generate that sell and will that sell
result in profit or is that cell going
to result in me losing money most people
don't do this inside work you guys and
they overlook this because they're so
excited they see the vision of online
marketing affiliate marketing and
automation everything and they go ahead
to take action but they never really
understand what their numbers are they
don't understand how much they can
actually spend to acquire a customer and
still bring them in the green right so
we're gonna break this down here so on
the left hand side you have different
traffic so
different traffic sources or simply you
know eyeballs to your sales funnel to
your website to your product or service
and we've listed off a few here but it's
not limited to what you're seeing here
there's tons of different free and paid
traffic sources out there on the
Internet
I just wrote down what came to mind you
said I wrote down I wrote down here you
can see that I put YouTube free which is
slow and steady traffic any free traffic
source is going to be slow and steady
the great thing about it is it's going
to cost you time it's not gonna cost you
any money and there's low risk with it
and that's why I decided to get started
with YouTube you know free advertising
when I got started because I was
literally $20,000 in debt just got a
payday loan to start my first business
and so I really had no other choice and
it you know ended up working out for me
because I had access to the right system
and the right products and I was able to
leverage my time effectively
but actually before that before I got
access to the right system I was this
guy over here okay I was the guy with
the broken business model and I was
sending traffic to one single Clickbank
product
okay Clickbank is an affiliate
marketplace full of just tons of digital
products that you can sell and make a
commission off of okay so what I would
do is I would send traffic to these
Clickbank products and I'd be putting up
videos on YouTube every single day I'd
even be hustlin and in forums and
Facebook groups and I'd spend all this
time and effort every single day and I'd
end up making maybe a couple sells or
even one sell or sometimes no sells so
to make anywhere between zero to a
hundred dollars a day you know work in
four to six hours a day you know
when you look at it yeah it looks like
you know pretty awesome I can make you
know 100 dollars a day you're working
four to six hours but this is mundane
constantly posting constantly at your
computer you know constantly just action
action action mode with really no
downtime that's really what you're doing
here and it it takes up a lot of
you know mental energy and so you know I
spent time doing this and it just wasn't
sustainable I ended up burning myself
out because I was promoting one product
I'd earn one commission and there was
really no leverage inside of my business
and with a lot of free traffic sources
you run into that problem especially
especially with forums and Facebook
groups one of the great things about
YouTube free advertising methods is
there's high leverage there which means
you can put up content once and it'll
pay you day in and day out but it still
takes time right same with Instagram you
put up content you know on a daily basis
you're not having to spend so much
mental energy going through forums and
Facebook groups and answering people's
questions and doing one-on-one
conversations it's more I'm going to tap
into my creativity and put a lot of
energy maybe for one to two hours a day
create a lot of content and then sort of
segment that content to go out over a
series of days and you can do that with
you too free you could do it with
Instagram free as well but a lot of
people aren't patient enough after 90
days to really you know put after into
90 days and really reap the rewards of
this broken business model right here
right can you turn this into a thousand
dollar a day income yes but you have to
send a lot of website visitors you have
to have a lot of traffic your YouTube
channel has to be big your Instagram
following has to be big for you to
really make your time worth it okay so I
find so many people entering this
problem right here now when you're
getting started out it's okay some
people just want to get their first
result on the internet sometimes you
just want to you know plugging in some
YouTube stuff some Facebook groups and
forums stuff and you want to get some
quick results but after that you're
gonna hit to hit a point where you kind
of get burnt out and you need to change
one of two things did you change your
traffic source from free to paid or you
need to change your funnel you need to
change the product that you're selling
in other words
from just selling one product to having
multiple products on the back end that
make you the big mine it's called an
ascension business model I talked about
it in one of my previous videos when I
use the McDonald's metaphor Ryan
McDonald's doesn't just sell their
cheeseburgers right often they actually
can lose money on selling their
cheeseburgers because they got to pay
for advertising and if they were paying
for that advertising and people just
pulled up to the drive-through and
bought a cheeseburger and that's it
McDonald's loses money they actually
make make money on their fries their
super-sized combo meals they're you know
large soft drinks so on and so forth
right and so what we want to do is we
want to emulate McDonald's and we want
to be able to leverage our business
model to where we can send the same
amount of visitors the same amount of
traffic to our system and have the
system do 80% of the work and have it
spit out higher amounts of income for us
on the back end
now that's truly leverage versus like
trading time for money or hustling on
forums in like Facebook groups to make
this thing work right here okay so I'm
using one of my products as an example
right here and at any point you can feel

this is a system that's done for you
everything's in place
it has front-end products and back-end
products that you can sell and really
have the leverage I'm about to show you
right now inside of your life in
business we're talking about turning a
customer into someone that might make
you ten dollars to somebody that would
make you $2,000 right and all you're
doing is your change in the back and
your change in the system right you're
not necessarily changing the traffic
source just the system so it's cool
because you can hustle on the front end
or you can even ease off on the front
end when you're driving traffic because
you know that your system is gonna
produce larger amounts of income for you
and cakes are not just selling one
product so anyways let me get to the
point here
it's all about knowing your numbers so
what I decided to do is take my inner
circle program this is a program that I
offer to you know online entrepreneurs
specifically affiliate marketers to help
them start build and grow an affiliate
marketing business from nothing from

I do day in and day out okay and so the
way that the business plan works is they
actually get access for thirty five days
to this program for free and then after

program it's only one hundred ninety
seven bucks a month right and what I do
in addition to that is I send them some
physical materials in the mill they get
a USB Drive they get a newsletter and
they get a binder okay and on the USB
Drive there's campaigns fully deployable

that show them how to take those
campaigns and implement them they're
pretty much almost nearly done for you
campaigns of the same campaigns proving
campaigns that I've used to build a

okay so that's kind of what I'm offering
in a nutshell and you know for the for
shipping they do still pay shipping it's
forty seven dollars and then after the
thirty five days if they decide to keep
the membership it's a hundred ninety
seven bucks a month so now that we've
acknowledged what I'm offering we've
acknowledged the price point we want to
work out some math here so how much can
I spend right to acquire a customer that
is the question how can how much can I
spend to be in profit and at the same
time get a customer okay and leverage
paid advertising because paid
advertising is going to allow you to
scale it's going to allow you to get
results very quickly and it's going to
give you fast data as I described right
here so in this case I'm giving some
sort of some conservative numbers here
as you can see on the right hand side
here let's
that 30% of people right this is like
worst case scenario let's say 30% of
people decide to stay on board
okay that's 30 people that decide to pay
the hundred ninety-seven bucks a month
and that's five thousand nine hundred
and ten dollars so my gross total is ten
thousand six hundred and ten dollars
that's with the hundred initial signups
I didn't mention this the forty seven
hundred dollars is coming from the forty
seven dollars that people are paying for
shipping most of that money is actually
you know goes into shipping costs and
product development costs okay so my
gross total is ten thousand six hundred
and ten dollars my expense is to create
the product for shipping and everything
in between is right around three
thousand two hundred ninety seven
dollars okay so my net total is right
around seven thousand three hundred and
thirteen dollars let's say that just
fifty percent of people after the first
month they decide to stay on board okay
that's an extra two thousand nine
hundred fifty-five dollars and then
let's say the second month or the third
month I'm sorry 50% of those people
decide to stay on board that's thirteen
seventy nine you kind of get the idea
here the month after that let's say 50%
of those people decide to stay on board
so I'm given some very worst case
scenario numbers that's an extra five
hundred ninety one dollars and you can
see on the left hand side here this is
the product development cost month after
month because every single month I send
them new material a new USB Drive a new
newsletter okay so that's gonna cost me
and then plus shipping that's gonna cost
me money too as well so that's the
number right here so I took that number
minus tip by the twelve thousand two
hundred thirty-eight dollars that I got
from the residual payments and including
the net total from the first month and
then I divide that by a hundred because
I initially had a hundred sign ups and
then that gives you my lifetime value
per customer I hope you guys are
following me here okay which is 114
dollars and thirteen cents okay so what
we can identify here is that we can
spend as much as 114 dollars and 13
sense to acquire a customer and break
even anything under that were in profit
so we spend a hundred dollars to acquire
our customer we're making you know
fourteen dollars every time we spend a
hundred bucks right and again this is
worst case scenario we'd obviously want
these numbers to be a lot lower but when
we're running traffic we can be
conservative and say okay worst case
scenario you know if my campaign just
busts I have a good enough price point
to where I can still break even and if I
lose some money it's gonna be very very
minimal so that's really understanding
on a deeper level when it comes to
making money with affiliate marketing
and really knowing your numbers so I
wanted to shoot this quick video for you
guys I would urge you to go out there
whatever product you're promoting I
would urge you to figure out your
numbers and write those down right
best-case-scenario numbers
worst-case-scenario numbers and you
might notice you know after you write
those down why it is that you're
actually failing inside your business so
