here welcome back to the channel as you
location just down the street from the
house wanted to shoot a video guys today
I'm gonna apologize if it's difficult to
hear me I know we've got a lot of wind
out here we usually have quite a bit of
wind out here West here in Utah but I
wanted to take a minute to shoot this
video for you guys and talk about how to
build an online business from scratch
not just any business but a business
that can stand the test of time so we're
gonna take a little block right here I
got the fiancee with and we're just
gonna have a heart-to-heart sort of
conversation here what is step number
one what's step number one to building
an online business to creating more
freedom to building a business that in
life that you absolutely love and this
is the number one thing that I think
that people overlook and this is why
they fail because it requires a lot of
consistency it requires creativity it
requires effort and it's building a
brand guys it's what I'm doing right now
is I'm speaking to you guys on video
it's putting up daily content every
single day solving problems within your
marketplace so what I would do is I
would think heavily about what are the
issues what are the problems that people
are dealing with in your specific niche
take some time mastermind on them think
about them and write them down take
20-30 minutes to do this and then after
that what you want to do is create
content around those specific problems
especially if it's YouTube videos I
would recommend YouTube because you know
that's the way that I got started number
one number two it's the quickest way to
build a relationship with your following
is through video they hear you they see
you they know your personality they know
your persona and one of the reasons why
people work with me is because they tell
me this isn't straight for me but they
tell me Josh you're super genuine you're
super honest that's why I buy from you
is because you're somebody I feel I can
trust and it's hard to do that through
an email or email through
book post so sort of eliminate a lot of
the legwork I would recommend that you
start doing video as soon as possible
and you can really leverage any platform
not saying that Instagram doesn't work
or emails don't work you really have to
find what works for you and you have to
be willing to go deep with it we're not
talking about the next few months we're
talking about the next few years we're
talking at least two to five years if
you can dedicate two to five years of
your life to quitting your job to living
your dreams to being able to never have
to be told what to do ever again then I
would highly recommend that you start
you know putting out content on a daily
basis that's gonna be the foundation
that's or the free frame into people
buying your products and services why
you people by the end of the day when
you walk into a jewelry store when you
walk into a department store more often
not we buy because we know the brand
we've seen commercials these commercials
have portrayed sort of the quality of
the brand and what the brand represents
so we unconsciously buy a lot of
products and services because of the
what they portray because of the quality
right and so the only way to do that is
to constantly put yourself in front of
your target audience so that's really
number one and this is the thing that
people never really become consistent at
that's why they fail if you go back
through my timeline through my youtube
channel even on my facebook wall I'm
finding a way to take action daily to
put out consistent content and that's
what's been able to create my success
today I would probably say then my
strengths are consistency and just
authenticity if there were two things
that I could tell you right now that
allowed me to succeed its those two
things okay so that's number one number
two is all about traffic it's generating
traffic inside your business we're not
talking about
car traffic like this we're actually
talking about website traffic generating
visitors into a sales funnel into your
website so you can then build further
the know like and trust and then
eventually convert those people into
sell so we use things called sales
funnels to get people inside of sort of
our world in our business we capture
name an email address by giving away
something for free and then once people
are on our email address or on our email
list what we can do is we can follow up
with them okay and give them more value
because chances are we expose them to
our product for the first time they're
not gonna buy they're going to take some
time to sort of trust us to realize that
we truly want to help them and one of
the best things that you can do is to
help somebody by actually helping them
solve their big problems first once you
solve their big problems first
they're more than likely going to
purchase your products and services in
the way that we can do that is we can do
it on the front end we can do it
throughout our funnel we can do it on
the back end through our email
autoresponder and we can do it through
facebook lives we can do it through
YouTube videos so we want to use those
specific mediums such as YouTube
Facebook Instagram email marketing solo
ads media buying they all work right
you've got to pick your poison
you've got to don't go deep with it
right so if you go deep with one niche
go deep with one specific traffic source
and never look back okay so it's all
about traffic getting eyeballs the more
eyeballs you can get to your web pages
to your capture pages to your opt-in
pages the more people that you can
capture on those pages get them on your
list the more people that will buy your
stuff so that's step number two step
number three is conversions and I sort
of covered this in step number two
converting is all about continuing to
lead with value if somebody's not buying
on the first time they're obviously not
buying because they don't trust you
they don't or they haven't had their
problem solved by you so what you need
to do is you need to show them that you
can solve their problem by again
actually solving their problem and
writing a Facebook post about it you
know creating a video about it showing
them that you are an expert in the
industry you don't have to have some
fancy car you don't have to have some
fancy house you don't have to show
people your credentials that you make a
certain amount of money people actually
don't care about that people care about
themselves and they care about how you
can help them and you need to sort of
show proof that you can help them
through actions ok I know a lot of
people watch my videos they'll comment
below some of my videos and say Josh
this video really helped me this video
helped me make an extra 200 dollars a
day and guess what when I help somebody
have that time to break through they buy
my products because I've proven hey if I
can help you solve the big problems then
I know you're going to continue to buy
for me so you can get to that next level
in your business in your life you know
to achieve whatever it is that you want
to achieve so that's the conversion
piece is continuing sort of piggybacking
off of the first thing which is creating
the content you want to continue to
create content continue to give value
you want to be giving 10 times the
amount of value as what you ask for in
return and if you can do that
you can write your own paycheck in life
you'll be able to travel the world
you'll be able to do what you want with
whom you want from wherever you want but
it's all about taking that first step
and that's creating the content most
people aren't willing to do that they
want to get rich quick sort of process
that doesn't exist but you got to
realize when you first start dating
somebody they don't just like you right
off the bat they need to learn about
what you like what your interests are
and if they can relate with you and if
they have similar in
Triss you might have a second date and
then on that second date you learn more
about that person you learned that you
have the same morals the same values and
then you take the next step until you
eventually you know become boyfriend and
girlfriend and then you become engaged
then you finally get married it's a
process right so what we want to do of
course is is build that relationship as
quickly as possible without being
awkward right and we have to do that in
a very strategic methodical way that I
laid out for you so go out there build a
brand put out daily content generate
traffic get people into a sales funnel
using social media and number three
convert that traffic by continuing to
solve their problems continuing to give
value and make offers do not forget to
sell I would recommend that in the
morning that you give value to your
email list and then the evening you
spend time selling people sending them
straight to an offer you also don't want
to be the freebie guy where you're just
giving out a bunch of free value okay
they're going to think that you're just
the free value guy and they'll never buy
from you you want to make sure there's a
nice balance between the two so without
said I hope you got value in this video
whether you want to make a hundred
dollars a day you want to make five
hundred a thousand dollars a day I've
been able to use this specific strategy
to make up as much as you know ten
thousand dollars per day using this
specific outline I just gave you so if

I've been able to take these three
things and build an affiliate marketing
business by not selling my own products
but actually selling other people's
products when I sell other people's
products I earn a commission because I'm
basically the middleman I'm the bridge
between what the consumer is looking for
and the product that's going to help
them solve that specific problem okay
and so I've used different marketplaces
out there that host tons of digital and
physical products where I can earn
anywhere between thirty percent
commission all the way up to about
seventy percent commission
and above so if you don't want to have
to create your own products you don't
want overhead customer service anything
like that this might be something that's
