McLaren rant now in today's video I'm
gonna be talking about how to get rich
if you have nothing okay now first I
wanted to find what rich means to me
because it might mean something
different to you right
traditionally in society we think riches
means you have a lot of money okay
but in my definition I think being rich
is having a lot of happiness having a
lot of money right having really good
health and really good relationships
okay maybe a good a really awesome
partner significant other whether it be
a boyfriend girlfriend wife husband
whatever it may be but I think being
rich is having plenty of all of those
facets in life okay so I'm gonna talk
about how to get that how to get what
you want out of life if that sounds like
something that you want you want better
relationships you want more money in
your life you want better health and you
want maybe you want more happiness maybe
you've been feeling a little depressed
lately I'm gonna talk about how to get
all of those things because there was a
point in my life where I didn't have any
of those things all right now our
hardships may be different yours might
be worse or better than mine right it
doesn't matter when you're operating at
that level in your life where you feel
like you don't have much okay basically
you and me and and someone else that may
be going through hardships are all
operating on the same wavelength as far
as our mindset okay and I know that
might be a little hard to understand
right now but it's like the difference
between you know someone who is maybe
financially poor okay and someone who's
financially rich there's a there's a
different operating level as far as
their mindset okay and I'm gonna teach
whatever level that may be where you're
at in your life okay you may be at the
complete bottom rock bottom right now or
you may be somewhere in the middle and
maybe you're you know just striving to
get more
out of life okay so that's what I'm
gonna talk about today because I think
it's an it's a very important topic I
mean you probably saw the thumbnail of
this video there was a point in my life
where I was making minimum wage you know
I love my parents but I didn't have the
guidance per se or the mentors to really
push me to the next level in life and to
get what I really wanted I believed that
you had to follow society's path of
going to school getting good grades you
know getting into a good college so
other people can accept you
right you know you can talk about at
dinners with other people oh I have this
degree I graduated from this college you
know I have this high paying job
whatever and I thought that was a
traditional route and when I figured out
that that traditional system was not
only rigged but it wasn't you know fit
for me and for my learning abilities for
my skill sets right because I never did
I was never a straight-a student but I
was always like trying my hardest and
barely I would say getting by okay and
maybe you can relate to that and I'm
telling you right now that life has way
more to offer to you than what
traditional Society makes it out to be
right life has more to offer than a good
college degree or you know a high school
education right life has tons of
happiness tons of great relationships
right you see these divorce rates are at
the highest they've ever been and you
wonder why because in school they didn't
teach us about how to manage our
emotions right how to communicate with a
significant other right how to do your
taxes how to build your credit right how
to achieve wealth and of invest they
don't teach you any of those things and
you wonder why it's and it's not the
teachers fault it's not the school's
fault it's it's the system that has
you know kind of paved the path for for
media mediocre life right to be able to
you know make enough money to buy food
and and put a roof over your head but
that system doesn't work anymore
okay and if you're following that system
right now maybe you're older than me
maybe I'm 28 so maybe you're older than
me that system worked for you
that's great maybe you want to just ship
make a shift in your life you want to
start your own business right you want
to make more money or maybe you're
younger than me and and you're kind of
following that traditional route
alright I'm someone who followed the
traditional route and figured out that
that wasn't the way for me right and
that might not be the way for you as
well and I figured out that there's a
lot more opportunity to be happy you
know make enough money from working from
home so that you have more time to spend
with family work on your relationships
and do the things you enjoy it doesn't
necessarily mean making millions of
dollars okay for me my my goal is not to
become a billionaire that is not one of
my life aspirations maybe when I was
younger because I I didn't quite
understand what it took to become that
you know have that level of financial
wealth but also the responsibility it
takes and and also you know the time it
takes out of other facets of life for me
I you know obviously I want to make
millions I've achieved my you know I
made my first million when I was 26 and
you know I just want to continue to make
great money and be able to live the good
life and be able to teach you be able to
make videos be able to educate and be
able to just enjoy life so if that's
something that you want out of life in
this video is gonna be great for you
okay so sit back relax the first step
okay the first step to get out of that
rut that you're in is to either a decide
that you are at rock bottom and you want
more out of your life okay which is very
hard to do most people do not decide
that they are at rock
okay the second option is what most
people experience and that is actually
hitting rock bottom alright and for me I
put myself in a situation where I burn
the bridges or burn the boats you know
that saying where you know burn the
boats put yourself in a situation to
where there's no other option but to
succeed and that's kind of what I did
alright when I moved out of my parents
house and I said you know what I'm not
gonna you know rely on them financially
I'm going to make it on my own and I
moved to a different city about seven
hours away up north in California
Northern California and I went to
college up there
okay went to San Jose State for a little
bit and while I was up there I was
working full-time as a server okay
making just enough money to pay my rent
buy food and buy my college books okay
that situation made me realize that wow
like there are a lot of people doing
this what I'm doing right now and just
struggling like literally living
paycheck to paycheck like I was to get
by and that's not life that is not I
don't care if that is the paved path for
Society for us that is not life okay
living paycheck-to-paycheck
is scary it's financially irresponsible
and it's not the life that you want okay
so if that's happening to you that's I
mean you know I've been there okay so I
understand I've been there I understand
it sucks and you know you have to decide
to get out of that situation okay so if
you
you either decide right now or you are
going to experience rock bottom and that
will propel you to get out of that
situation okay
but it's better off if you decide today
that I've had enough enough is enough
okay even if your life is actually
pretty good but you just want to level
up you have to decide today that I'm
going to level up alright and I'm going
to have that develop that mindset
because it's a habit right we always are
biological drives right kind of
gravitate towards just getting by
right our body just wants to survive we
just need food shelter and you know some
love from someone and that's enough
biologically for us but in today's
society right there's obviously ways to
get more than that there's ways to you
know achieve financial freedom there's
ways to get more more out of life than
what biologically your body wants okay
and you have to decide to get out of
that rut and when I decided there was
one day that happened to me and I kind
of hit rock bottom and so it wasn't
really a decision it was like I hit rock
bottom I didn't I didn't have enough
money for groceries and I had to ask my
parents for money and it was very you
know it just made me feel some type of
way you know it made me feel like I
don't want to be in the situation ever
again because I don't want to have to
rely on other people to provide me with
financial help
all right financial having your finances
in check is your responsibility all
right just like it was mine and I wasn't
being responsible so I decided to you
know pick pack up my bags move back home
work two jobs right I was working two
jobs at the time serving and working at
investment bank
you know bartending at night investment
bank in the morning you know and going
to a different College you know trying
to try to get it
at the same time and obviously that
didn't work out ended up dropping out
but while I was while I was
transitioning and I was trying to
develop that mindset okay that mindset
of let's get out of this rut okay I was
reading certain books okay so number one
you have to decide or you're gonna hit
rock bottom in life will decide for you
okay number two start learning from
mentors okay mentors have been the
biggest attribute to my success because
it's my ability to learn from people who
have already experienced the hardships
and what they did to get out of it and
then become financially free to have
wonderful relationships to have all the
happiness in the world right and I
started reading books
okay books are a great place to start
especially if you don't have money right
for me I didn't have much money so I
bought a few books I read number one
seven Habits of Highly Effective People
by Stephen Covey biggest game-changer
for me as far as mindset and habits that
you have to develop is to be a
successful person okay to get what you
want out of life
number two the power of now right that's
a little bit more spiritual it's a
Eckhart Tolle but it taught me to be
present it taught me to get rid of the
running thoughts in my head so that I
could have a clear focus and really
think about what it is that I want in
life because most people are so blurred
by podcasts and you know their phone and
all of this stuff their thoughts running
through their head that they can't even
focus they don't even know what they
want out of life right so you have to be
able to clear your head for at least
three to five minutes zero thoughts just
breathing right in
and out right being able to clear your
thoughts and really think about what is
it that I really want out of life
okay so books like that seven Habits of
Highly Effective People the power of now
by Eckhart Tolle you know and those were
kind of the inspirational books there
was also another it was one by Paulo
Coelho forgot what the name of the book
is but awesome book but those are you
have to get the mindset right because
most people think that is the strategy
most people think that if I build the
Shopify store if I run the Facebook ads
I'm gonna make I'm gonna make a bunch of
money buy myself a supercar and you know
have women in my life and that is not
how it works okay
because while someone may be able to do
that while someone may be able to build
a million dollar Amazon store or million
dollar Shopify store you are going to
bring the same baggage that you had
before you had that Shopify store into
your business and it's going to show
right all your bad habits all your bad
choices are going to show in your
business okay you know talking from
experience someone you know someone
who's constantly me I'm constantly
developing my mental you know my mental
state I'm constantly developing my
attitude towards life and being grateful
and being present because in developing
good habits because the bad habits will
seep into your business and eventually
it'll all come crumbling down okay
there's been many instances in life
where you've seen people do that so
that's not something new and that's not
made up like your bad habits will show
in your business because your business
is your life right my business is my
life and everything revolves around you
know my business right because I enjoy
my business I enjoy what I do I'd enjoy
philia marketing I enjoy marketing and
teaching people online
that's something that is just a natural
passion for me I've always enjoyed
teaching people new information so you
know you have to you have to pick up a
few books and and eventually when you
make enough money to invest in mentors
if you have the money right now go pay
someone that you enjoy learning from go
pay for someone that you inspire to be
like right get involved with people that
are like-minded okay I like to think of
it like the mindset that you need to
have is like if you ever been through
like a multi-level marketing event like
I'm not I don't have anything against it
I'm just not for me I like you know
affiliate marketing that's that's my
stuff but I've been too you know invited
to a few multi-level marketing events
but you see that passion and that drive
that those people have like you have to
have that mindset but then you have to
have the action behind it because you
see a lot of people with that passion
and they're like I'm gonna make a
million dollars I'm gonna you know drop
down a college and start a business or
I'm gonna change my life but then they
give up you know
a month later because they don't have
the action followed behind the mindset
okay so invest in Mentors
learn from someone surround yourself
with people and how do you get in
contact with those people well go to
events right like for me I bought this
car right quarter million dollar vehicle
not to brag but this is something that
not only serves as a you know something
for enjoyment right pleasure I get
pleasure from driving this car but it's
something that gets me around a lot of
multi-millionaires deca millionaires
people that are you know close to being
billionaires and you know it's got me
around a lot of great people at car
events because other supercar owners
hyper car owners I'm able to like talk
to people that can afford a 16 million
dollar Pagani Huayra right that's a
hyper car if you don't if you're not
into cars literally a 16 million dollar
car so you got to figure that person has
to be able to afford a 16 million dollar
car they got to be worth at least I
would say 50 to a hundred maybe even
more to comfortably
that type of vehicle and drive it around
so get around good people get start
learning start absorbing and once you
have that positive mindset right once
you stop hating on people you stop
paying attention to what people are
saying you stop gossiping you stop
partaking in low-level activities okay
I'm not saying that I'm above people or
you know there's a group of people that
are above anyone but I will tell you
right now that people that gossip people
that talk about other people people that
spread rumors or hate or do this crap
okay those people are not successful
those those are people that are not you
do not want to learn from because
there's a lot of there's a lot of
unhappiness in their life and there's a
lot of you know for someone to be able
to do that right talk like that about
people other human beings obviously
there's something very wrong in their
lives that they have to fix I mean to go
to a psychologist and figure out you
know and and and I feel sympathy for
those people but if you get yourself
around some positive people like me
other people you've seen on my channel
great people right we'll always have a
smile on her face
obviously we go through hard times
sometimes and not always a fake smile
you know but just positive like dude
there is nothing to be if you are
breathing fresh air you have a phone
with internet you're watching this video
dude you have all the opportunity to
crush it online make millions okay and
and that's that you know what I mean so
number two yep get mentor start learning
from people books indirect mentors maybe
you don't physically talk to them but
also get direct mentors that you
physically talk to and then number three
start taking massive action okay I can
tell you right now that making videos
like these are not necessarily
comfortable for me okay I'm exposing
myself I'm giving myself vulnerability
I'm showing a side of you side of me
that you know
usually people keep private right
usually people keep private but it's
just been being real with you it's me
being honest that um if you want to make
it if you want to make it today online
okay you want to start generating money
online not working a corporate job you
must do things that are uncomfortable
just like I'm doing right now okay
recording content recording videos was I
this good before was able to talk for 20
minutes off-the-cuff I'm Lu Drive a
script I'm just talking off the cuff how
am I able to do this practice okay this
video right here I think is my like four
hundred ninety fifth video okay and I
feel I filmed hundreds of other videos
for courses and stuff like that so I
felt I film probably over a thousand
videos it takes practice okay and when
you put yourself out there you start
inspiring others you start teaching
people what you learned okay and sharing
information because that is what this is
all about sharing information that
public the public school systems not
sharing with us society isn't sharing
with us right I mean we have the radio
we're listening to gossip on the radio
you know the stuff like this this is
positive practical information that you
can go and apply in your life and get
positive results okay so if you can do
that same thing start filming yourself
start sharing content right
you could start affiliate marketing
that's one thing that has led to major
financial success for me is affiliate
marketing selling other people's
products I don't have to service the
customer right I don't have to deal with
refunds chargebacks
I just collect the Commission I talked
about something that I use right like
legendary marketer that's a ecomp
ecommerce marketing education platform
that I've used to learn and I share it
with other people I say if you want to
learn about marketing and up your
marketing game become a legendary
marketer okay then you know do that

invest and do paid traffic and all of
that
although paid traffic is a great skill
set to have and you should learn it you
know this is free this is free right
here you could start with your phone
record a video promote something that
you believe in boom generate affiliate
commissions generate YouTube ad revenue
right generate email leads for your
business and by the time you know it
after a hundred videos you're generating
enough to pay the bills you're
generating enough to maybe quit your job
okay
so I mean I can't promise the timeframe
for you for me it was extra fast because
there wasn't a lot of people doing it I
mean it was like me and a couple other
people that have been on my channel and
I was able to make seven figures in a
year okay I'm not saying that that's
impossible it might happen for you might
not it's all gonna depend on your work
ethic and and you know how you
communicate to other people so the best
place the best way to learn how to
communicate is to communicate just like
I'm doing right now talking to you
through my camera through youtube right
so I mean that's what I'm gonna say that
that's pretty much all I'm gonna say in
this videos you know how to get rich how
to get what you want out of life health
wealth love happiness all of those four
facets okay you must change your mindset
you must be positive
you must learn from people who have what
you want and then you must take massive
action there's no secret strategy
there's no secret sauce it's just
consistency over time like people ask me
Ryan how did you you know how did you
make hundreds of thousands or you know
your first million how did you do that
well I made a bunch of content uploaded
a bunch of YouTube videos okay I went
out and got paying clients to help them
with their social media I started doing
affiliate marketing promoting other
people's products okay making more
YouTube videos and then I started
running Facebook Ads to some of my
content right that's it there was no
special strategy it just takes time and
it takes fine-tuning once you start
learning Facebook ads then you can you
know obviously fine-tune your conversion
metrics and stuff like that but that's
not that's ten percent of what you need
to know ninety percent is an actual just
filming something and setting up your
Facebook Ads manager and running the hat
you know what I mean like that's 90
percent most people won't even film the
content okay
so um I know these are a longer video
but I want to start doing more of these
because I want to build a deeper
connection with you and I want to show
you that you know there's no difference
between you and me we're both human
beings you have the potential to do way
better than me I want to see you do way
better than me okay like there is no
competition here the only competition is
against yourself okay I don't compete
with anyone my competition is against
myself I want to be a better version
every single day and it should be the
same with you okay and that's why I'm
doing these videos to share with you to
kind of check in and share my life
experiences so that hopefully you know
you can learn from my mistakes you can
learn from my achievements and apply all
that to your life okay some of these
these videos are like it's like talking
to my younger self like I wish that you
know I had maybe a big brother that you
know could tell me these things so
hopefully I could be like inspiration to
you I could be a source of motivation a
source of information that you can apply
to your life and you know let's go crush
