STOP EATING YOUR MONEY! #Best Education Page #Online Earning

STOP EATING YOUR MONEY!

so today I'm going to let you guys in on
a little secret all right I'm gonna show
you how I save over ten thousand dollars
each year by cooking food at home now I
know this sounds kind of silly to some
of you but you can save so much money by
cooking food at home and I don't
understand why so many people especially
young people are wasting money every
single day by buying fast food that is
unhealthy and it's also just like three
or four times more expensive than what
you would be paying if you just prepared
food at home so I thought this would be
a cool idea I'm gonna break down what I
currently eat every single day versus
what I used to eat when I worked a
nine-to-five job didn't have as much
time to you know cook meals and whatnot
and as a result I was spending a lot
more money buying food outside of the
house without a doubt I would say this
is the single easiest way to save money
every single month yes it is going to be
a little bit more time consuming to
prepare food at home but the savings is
unbelievable I'll show you guys how much
money I am currently saving by eating
all of my food and meals at home now I
just want to mention to you guys before
I go through what I eat every single day
I do CrossFit six days a week I'm six
foot one a lot of people can't tell
because the camera angle is weird here I
had one person ask me once if I was like
five foot six which was funny but I'm a
six foot one guy and I exercise six days
a week so I eat a ton of food so you
could probably get away with eating a
lot less than this I eat almost 3,000
calories a day and still it's it's not
very expensive at all so if you guys
want to see what I'm eating for whatever
reason if you're curious about that then
yeah you're gonna find out what I eat it
every day in this video but mostly guys
I'm here to show you the cost difference
between eating at home versus eating
outside of the house so I'm just gonna
run you guys through what I eat in an
average day now so I make coffee at home
and I do grind my own beans I use
organic beans so that's a little bit
more expensive so that's 75 cents per
day I spend on coffee now if I were to
use like Folgers or Maxwell House would
be a lot less expensive but I'm a bit of
a coffee snob so I will I will say that
I also have a Greek yogurt in the
morning with some grape nut cereal in
there and then I take three protein
shakes a day
the total cost on that is 309 and then
the grape nuts it's 16 cents per half a
serving and eighty-seven cents per Greek
yogurt and then I eat half a rotisserie
chicken every single day that cost me
five bucks every two days or 250 a day
and then I also have a bag of frozen
peas for a dollar fifty cents for two
bananas I eat two English muffins with
peanut butter that's going to be fifty
cents plus 27 cents for that peanut
butter and then another Greek yogurt
eighty-seven cents three eggs in the
evening that cost me about 50 cents eggs
are one of the best foods out there for
you and they are dirt cheap and then I
also cooked those in coconut oil which
cost me 10 cents per serving and then I
add another another serving of grape
nuts in with that Greek yogurt for 16
cents so that's what I eat every single
day yes it's a lot of food but you know
like I said I'm a very active person so
I require a lot more calories than most
people would so what does that add up to
each day I'm spending $12 and 77 cents
on my food and I just glanced down at my
sheet here and I realized I did forget
to add one item to my food list here
that is those Lenny and Larry's cookies
they're like a like a cookie type thing
for bodybuilders that are high in
protein there's no dairy or any of the
really bad things with cookies that's
kind of like a sweet item that I eat to
stop me from eating really bad stuff so
I do eat one of those a day as well and
that's a dollar fifty per cookie or per
day basically what I'm spending with
that all factors into my total here of
spending twelve dollars and seventy
seven cents a day on everything that I
consume now guys that is nothing that
was like next to nothing compared to
what I used to spend when I was working
my job and eating every single meal out
of the house alright so let's go ahead
and do the numbers on that so 1277 a day
on food means that I spend about eighty
nine dollars and thirty-nine cents a
week for everything that I eat now
remember guys there's many people that
will spend that in one meal with their
girlfriend or with their significant
other if they go out to eat you could
easily drop 90 bucks on a meal depending
on where you're going so I eat for an
entire week on the money some people are
spending in one meal and then each month
that cost me 383 10 just under 400
dollars is what I spend on all of my
food so now let's compare it to what I
used to spend on food when I worked my
day job okay so I used to start my
morning off with a very expensive cup of
Starbucks coffee it was usually a latte
of some kind or ever gonna get a Dunkin
Donuts latte and that would be three
and then I would eat to breakfast
sandwiches and that would run me seven
bucks right there so breakfast alone
that was ten dollars so in my meal for
breakfast I spent almost as much as I
spend on my entire day now for food
lunch I would usually go to Chipotle I'd
buy a steak burrito you got to get that
guacamole but as you know that guac is
extra so that was ten eighty three those
chips were buck twenty-five and a drink
was two thirty six so my lunch was
somewhere around it looks like about
fifteen dollars for lunch is what I was
spending which is about accurate I
remember one of my first jobs I worked
as an intern I made $14 per hour and I
worked there over the summer and I can
remember going to Chipotle and I would
buy the steak burrito with guac also get
the chips and the drink and it would
cost me like 15 bucks and one day I
realized that I spend one hour of my day
the the money I'm making one hour at
lunch and I was like that's crazy I'm
spending basically 1/8 of my paycheck
before taxes are even taken out at in
lunch which is just insane to me to
spend that much money one hour of your
time of day is just going towards
feeding yourself while being at that job
that dude that just didn't make any
sense to me but yet I continued to do it
it was one of the biggest mistakes I've
made was just you know spending way too
much money on food outside of the house
so then for dinner I would usually hit
subway that's 884 for a footlong chips
were a dollar fifty a drink was a dollar
seventy eight and I also throughout the
day somewhere would usually go to
Stewart's take a break and I would pick
up a red bowl for 250 and some kind of
snack which was about two dollars and
fifty cents so that is what I used to
eat every single day I would eat every
single meal out of the house and as a
result I would spend 4156 a day on food
compared to a 1277 what I spend right
now so each week that is to 90 92 or
1246 in 80 cents a month guys I was
spending almost 1250 a month on food
that's absolutely insane that's more
than most people spend on their mortgage
yet I was spending this on food prepared
food is one of the biggest wastes of
money out there and most young people
the ones that are doing this because
they're too lazy to cook at home or oh
you know I don't want to make breakfast
I don't want to get out my frying pan
and make an egg sandwich at home that's
gonna cost me less than a dollar
I'll just go to you know Dunkin Donuts
and pay four times the amount for that
it's absolutely insane guys so now my
savings on this is ten thousand five
hundred eight and thirty five cents a
year I'm literally saving over ten
thousand dollars each year by eating
food at home not only am i eating better
food I'm eating healthier food and
saving ten thousand dollars in the
process if you guys are trying to save
money one of the first places you can
start is by looking at your grocery bill
and your food expenses and trying to
cook more meals at home it's gonna be
healthier it's gonna save you guys a lot
of money in the long run but anyways
guys it was kind of shocking to me to
see these numbers I've never really done
them out myself but yeah I thought this
would be an interesting lesson for you
