SWEATCOIN: Can You REALLY Get Paid To Walk? #Best Education Page #Online Earning

SWEATCOIN: Can You REALLY Get Paid To Walk?

- So I decided that I'm going to be
testing out this app that I'm seeing
all over social media, particularly on Tik Tok,
and it's called sweatcoin.
And essentially they pay you to walk.
But I'm gonna see how much I can earn
over the next four days
while I'm here in Atlantic City
doing a ton of walking.
At the end of this video I'm gonna circle back,
talking about how sweatcoin is actually
making money and how they're able to
pay people for basically just walking.
So it should be a pretty interesting video.
So I got a little update here for you guys
on the sweatcoin.
So we walked all the way the length of this entire boardwalk
and I'll open up my health app
so we can see exactly how long that was.
But I just earned by daily maximum here
which is five sweatcoins for 7,200 steps.
So if I want to do more than this
I have to upgrade with sweatcoin,
so I'll see what that is,
maybe it's worth spending a couple sweatcoin
to increase that limit
'cause we're gonna be doing a ton of walking.
So I would say it's actually pretty accurate
because according to the health app
I've done three miles so far today
and 6,893 steps.
And sweatcoin put it at 7200
so they're actually estimating to higher
than what the health app did.
So it seems like it's pretty accurate
with tracking your steps.
So essentially what you have to do
to earn more sweatcoins is you have to upgrade
and pay a certain number of sweatcoins per month,
so the Shaker plan is $4.57 per month.
The Quaker plan is 20 sweatcoins per month,
and then the Breaker plan is 30 sweatcoins per month,
but the more you pay in sweatcoins
the more you can earn per day.
So I'm gonna do the highest level plan here
since I'm just paying in sweatcoins,
that way I can earn the most
over the couple of days.
So this method of earning passive income
just got a little bit more treacherous here
because we got a lot of hazards on this side walk.
So make sure you're safe when you're sweatcoining.
- Be safe guys, pro tip.
So to get a little more steps in
we decided to climb a 200 step lighthouse.
So just gotta keep earning that passive income, you know.
Every step counts.
So we're wrapping up a long day
of getting that sweatcoin.
- Oh yeah, putting in work guys.
- We're out here just putting in hours,
walking, getting that sweatcoin.
We've put in like what,
five, five hours of walking so far today?
- I'm sure we've gone miles and miles and miles.
- We're actually talking about
just quitting this whole
whatever stuff we're doing,
him doing the podcast thing,
me doing the YouTube thing,
and just being full time sweatcoiners.
- Yeah.
- You just need a good pair of shoes and-
- Highly profitable, get those calves.
- Well I don't know about highly profitable,
we'll see about that.
So after all the walking I did yesterday
I'm up to 30 sweatcoins,
and I actually already have some logged for today
from late last night,
so I'm up to $1.56 in sweatcoins
from 4,000 steps.
So all together up to 30.
At the end of the week we'll see
what we can potentially cash that out for.
And if you look at my health app here
I actually walked 25,000 steps yesterday,
10.7 miles so that's a lot more walking
than people would normally be doing on a daily basis.
And then we did like 1.8 miles
walking back from the bars.
So about 12 miles of walking.
(soft music)
All right so here's my day two update on sweatcoin.
So we walked 11.7 miles yesterday,
and so I am up to 51.73 in sweatcoins in total.
I've also been doing these daily bonuses
that let me earn extra sweatcoins,
where essentially you click
and then you have to watch an ad.
And then by doing that
you end up getting additional sweatcoins.
So I'm officially back in town guys.
This is gonna wrap up this sweatcoin trial.
About four days of walking later
and I have earned 66.72 sweatcoins.
Now the real question that we probably have here
is are these sweatcoins actually worth anything,
and would I be able to actually redeem them
for any prizes.
And then finally what we're gonna touch on really quick
is what exactly is in this for sweatcoin?
Why are they offering these free coins
for walking around?
And how are they actually able to make any money?
So the first question you probably have
is what is each sweatcoin worth?
And we're gonna be able
to answer that in a pretty simple way.
So if you have 20,000 sweatcoins
you can cash out for $1,000
that they will send to you via PayPal.
So if we go ahead and do a little bit
of math here, we just learned that 20,000 sweatcoin
is going to be equal to $1,000 U.S.
So if we take that $1,000
and divide it by 20,000,
that means that each sweatcoin
is worth $0.05.
So we know that I earned 66 sweatcoins
after walking quite a bit for four days straight,
times $0.05 per coin,
which means after four days I earned roughly $3.30.
Now the thing is there's no direct way
to actually cash out that $3.30.
So yes you heard that right
I cannot actually cash out.
There's no way for me to cash out on my 66 sweatcoins,
worth approximately $3.30 because
the minimum of sweatcoins you need to cash out is 20,000.
So we know that it took me four days to earn 66 sweatcoins
which means that by walking seven to 10 miles per day
I was averaging 16.5 sweat coins per day.
So if you are trying to save up 20,000 sweatcoins,
earning 16.5 per day,
it would take you 1,212 days to do that.
And so that is basically four years
of walking seven to 10 miles per day
to be able to cash out from the app with $1,000.
So is this actually a good way to make money?
I'm going to say no.
However, it is a good way to get people moving
because what I will tell you is that
I walked significantly more in the last four days
just because there was some incentive behind it.
Now yes it is a meaningless coin,
but it did get me walking.
So there is definitely some value here in that alone.
So your question probably is
what can I actually cash out for,
and how does sweatcoin actually make money?
And this is the answer right here
because what you are able to purchase
with your sweatcoins is actually offers
from different advertisers.
So right here for example for 34.99 in sweatcoins
this offer sold out,
but I could have bought 10 slender blend packs
from Protein World.
So this actually isn't costing sweatcoin anything.
In fact, this advertiser is actually paying sweatcoin
for every user that signs up.
Another example here is wellness
and beauty super foods.
You have a free three month trial of TIDAL.
And all kinds of different offers,
tailored vitamins.
So essentially you are taking your sweatcoins
and exchanging them for free trials
or limited sample trials
of different products.
And then a final way that sweatcoin
is able to make money is by these offers right here,
these daily bonuses
because when you go ahead and click on that
it brings up an ad,
and you have to watch the entire ad
to get your daily bonus sweatcoin.
So in a nutshell sweatcoin basically knows
that nobody is going to save up
enough sweatcoins to actually cash out
for $1,000 or for an iPhone X.
And I have seen some other electronics on there,
but they were typically 10,000 sweat coins or more,
and it would literally take you years
of walking 10 miles per day
to earn enough sweat coins to actually
redeem these prizes.
So most people will never actually cash out,
and those who do are going to take advantage
of offers that are actually making sweatcoin money.
So at the end of the day,
no you can't quit your job and go walk,
however it is a good way to get yourself moving.
And it's a way to motivate yourself to start walking.
Is it going to make you any money?
Probably not.
It might get you some free samples
of vitamins or protein powders,
and if that's worth it to you,
then give sweatcoin a shot.
But I would definitely say it is not a way
that I would personally try to make money.
But anyways guys that's gonna wrap up this video.
I hope you enjoyed it.
I certainly enjoyed walking on the boardwalk
and seeing all the sights.
It was really cool to test out this app in the process.
