3.0 launched now we're back in action I
today talk about some of the easiest way
to see results in affiliate marketing
and this isn't gonna be your typical
video like oh just go on Facebook and
press these couple buttons and do this
right I want to give you some more of a
mindset stuff because you gotta realize
that when you when you're starting let's
say affiliate marketing when you're
starting digital marketing right every
result you're gonna get is gonna be
based off how you're thinking right your
thought process how you're going into it
how you think when you write your copy
how you think when you do this okay so I
want to talk about some of the most
important things that you just have to
realize before actually starting
affiliate marketing and how that can
kind of turn into results for you okay
so with that being said let's get
started alright so the easiest way to
see results in affiliate marketing when
you're getting started like I said I
want to talk about some of the mindset
stuff but just to give you a
straightforward answer here the easiest
way is to just model your competitors
because let's face it when you're
starting something out right you're not
gonna know how to do everything
perfectly you're gonna make all kinds of
mistakes you're gonna make problems even
to this day guys I've been doing
marketing for 3 years now I still an
unsure if like okay is this coffee good
is this actually gonna work right and
even talking to some of the like top
marketers in the world basically for
example at the 3.0 mansion in Florida I
got to meet and talk with Dave Sharpe
who's done 250 million dollars online
and he kind of talked about how every
single day he's still learning every
time he does a video every time he
writes an email he's still learning
right so not everyone has it perfect and
that's why I keep one these points on my
whiteboard here is this number three
taking action imperfect action Trump's
perfect inaction okay so really think
about that
right so not everything has to be
perfect because you got it really
everything that was created this water
bottle this mouse this computer you know
everything this building I'm in it's all
created by humans and you know things
are gonna go wrong and you know
eventually you can create whatever you
want if you really think about it
because you know everything is made by
humans so you can do it too if you're a
human right hopefully we don't have any
dogs watching right now that would be
kind of weird anyways so for example
like last night my girlfriend was
working on this graphic for me and
honestly it was just taking way longer
than it needed to and I was like babe
why don't you just model someone else
right why don't you just copy someone
who has a good cover photo right as long
as you change it up a little put my own
words on it put my own colors on it
right there's nothing wrong with that
it's I think it's honestly the same
exact thing with you know an affiliate
marketing business with an online
business you guys have the ability to
see you know all of my email so you guys
have the ability to see anyone's face
began so you guys have the ability to
see you know Russell Bronson's or you
know any top marker you can see their
whole marketing campaign and really what
you want to do is find someone in your
niche find someone who's selling
successfully you know no matter if not
even if you're doing affiliate marketing
it really this applied to anything right
when someone goes and opens up a
restaurant in their local city the first
thing they're gonna do if they're smart
they're gonna see the top restaurants in
their local cities see exactly where the
location is what cities it's by what
main towns it's by and just you know
looking at their food their pricing all
that stuff okay
so that's kind of what I'm saying is
model you're talking patters don't copy
them but that will give you a sense of
idea that way you don't have to reinvent
the wheel right and now going into the
actual mindset part of this you got to
realize that affiliate marketing is a
pretty long-term game right when it
comes to building an email list building
a list on your facebook group right
building some type of lists of people
who know like and trust you that would
actually buy products that you recommend
to them okay so you got to realize
that's going to take a while it's gonna
turn take a while to learn about the
niche realize what products works good
for them and
say long term I'm not talking 20 years
I'm not talking five years even you know
college it takes four years to go there
or even to learn a trade that simple
trade let's say if you want to be a
plumber that makes that might take a
couple years right there's no marketing
it's no different okay like at least
give it six months to a year and you
know you can see results in three months
even but it just depends on your past
experiences how your your thought
process is how quick you can pick up on
things right I don't know your whole
life experience everyone's going to be
different right that's why you know I
can't tell people oh you're gonna make
this amount in this amount of days right
it's gonna be different for everyone
because everyone thinks differently and
marketing is not just some one-way
street right lots of things can happen
lots of different strategies can work
it's just about you know following one
strategy kind of right so once you get
the right mindset you need to have a
strategy and plan to follow because if
you don't have a plan to follow you're
just gonna feel stressed out every day
and for me I'm like super like I need
everything to be structured and
organized inside of my business
otherwise I won't be very productive and
I'll end up feeling really overwhelmed
so for me I like to plan you know kind
of everything I do and have a strategy
that I'm just following right and I'm
doing it day after day and the strategy
that you know you set out for yourself
it may not work if you're doing it for a
month straight you may not see results
in a month but you've got to realize how
long is the strategy going to take okay
and as long as you have that down right
then you're gonna be fine if you know
that this strategy that you're doing
maybe it's a YouTube channel for example
if that's your strategy you plan on
putting out content every single day
you're trying to rank for keywords in
the niche right you got it really that
strategy will probably take three months
of consistent action that means 90 days
right so if it's not working in a week
and you're not seeing the results then
you shouldn't be surprised anymore right
because you should know that it's gonna
take 90 days okay and if you're doing a
content marketing strategy that's one
the best time period of
you just do a 90 day challenge right and
that's another thing that David Sharpe
that Dave Sharpe guy talked about is you
know if you guys are starting a Content
Challenge right now do it for 90 days do
a 90 day challenge for yourself and then
you'll see results and actually it's
funny he said that because when I first
started my youtube channel that's what I
was doing I was doing those 90 day
challenges of videos every single day
and you know it's gonna be the same
thing if you're in a different niche
right it may be easier for different
niches so again it's just gonna depend
on your specific situation so you might
be thinking like okay Jeff but what if I
don't have a strategy but if I don't
have a plan to follow well that's just
gonna go back to what we talked about in
the beginning this video is model your
competitors see what their action plan
is see what their strategy is in that
niche see what product they're selling
right and you could just kinda have to
model the same exact thing people have
different thoughts about this but I
suggest people have a spree strategy and
a paid traffic strategy right but I
wouldn't suggest starting with both of
those because you know if you have too
much on your plate right it's really
hard to learn let alone free traffic to
make that work but it's even harder to
do paid traffic believe it or not okay
because pay traffic everyone's competing
with each other so for me I always tell
people start with free traffic build up
a niche specific audience route things
that you're helping with them no matter
what platform you're using doesn't
matter right and then once you build up
that little custom audience you can
retarget them on YouTube right with
YouTube ads you can retarget them on
Facebook with Facebook ads you can
retarget them on Instagram right and
those people they already know you maybe
they already went through your funnel
right you have their email so that's why
you can retarget them right and then
that's where you can implement your paid
traffic strategy you okay so I would
like I said again monitor your
competitor right have them mine have the
right mindset going forward understand
what your plan is and understand you
know if your plan is content you know it
may take 90 days to see results if your
plan is ads it may take you know 60 days
to see results right so you got to
understand that and then once you kind
of like get your mindset to realize that
right you're not gonna get upset when
you're not seeing results in two weeks
okay because you know that this is gonna
take 90 days okay and then like I said
I'm having a free strategy and a paid
strategy but starting with one and I
usually just suggest starting with free
first that we don't waste money you get
to learn about the niche more it's all
free right you can't go wrong and then
you can implement a page strategy to
retarget those free people okay so
