welcome back to another video and I say
this a lot but this is probably the most
important video that you will watch up
to this point this is actually part two
of the truth about affiliate marketing

fulfillment so in this video we're going
to talk about the truth the real truth
about affiliate marketing what's
happening this year as we know it there
was some youtubers that predicted this
at the beginning of the year one of them
was ODI production so shout out to him
because I'm on the same exact wavelength
that he's on and I know a lot of you
guys have been struggling trying to run
Facebook ads trying to do paid traffic
trying to do solo ads and you're just
not getting the results that you want
number one ab costs are going up profit
margins are going down which is making
it harder to make money with affiliate
marketing and to add to that to make
things worse email marketing is getting
tougher how many of you check your email
inbox
and see a bunch of spam emails or just a
bunch of emails from a bunch of
different people that you subscribe to
you subscribe to somebody one day and
then maybe they run out and sell your
email list to somebody else and then on
top of that you subscribe to somebody
else and so on and so forth right this
watch about affiliate marketing and make
money online I know that so that leads
me into really segwang into this whole
entire conversation so I've got some
notes here on my computer I want to make
sure that I kind of take this step by
step so number one you know profit
margins are minimal if you're trying to
run paid ads and you're doing an
affiliate marking to you know like a
physical product for example Amazon
where you're getting paid like two to
four
percent commission if you sell at least
30 products within a month they might
bump it up to 6% Commission you can't
really run Facebook ads or any paid ads
and make money whatsoever the costs are
way too high the profit margins are way
too low but people talk about how Amazon
is one of the easiest ways to get
started with affiliate marking which it
is but you shouldn't be leveraging paid
ads in the first place when you're
getting start with affiliate marketing
although those will give you quick
results if you know what you're doing
and if you understand your numbers most
people don't understand sells they don't
understand how to set up an ad on
Facebook they don't even understand the
behavior and the psychology of these
platforms that they're advertising on
right success is in the details and so
they want these quick results they buy
into this get-rich-quick over night
concept but yet paid ads don't work in
that manner it's not 2006 anymore to
where you can just run a Google AdWords
ad straight to and like a Clickbank
offer and make a bunch of money it
doesn't work out anymore people are
getting smarter you know those old
pop-up ads of those like free iPhones
that people would think that we're real
and then they would fill out their email
address not to complete a bunch of
offers those were those used to work
they don't work anymore the key to
having success here in 2018 and beyond
is video marketing its video video is
the key if you're not willing to do
videos you're not gonna succeed I've
said this many times in my channel but
video creates that strong bond it
creates a relationship a solid
relationship with your target prospect
people have been screwed over they've
been scammed because they used to buy
into the free iPhone stuff they used to
buy into the get-rich-quick stuff some
of those things still work and there's
still a lot of people make it a bunch of
money off of that stuff but it's slowly
dying a slow and steady death on top of
that we were talking about email
marketing and solo apps for going back
to paid traffic and thinking that you
know
we're just gonna make money very quickly
typically you get into most
opportunities or you watch most YouTube
videos and they're like let me show you
how to make money fast the fast way and
they run a you know a solo ad and they
make a few sells well that's where it
stops plus you don't know how much money
they actually spit on that solo ad and
how much profit they actually made most
people are spending $500 to maybe make a
couple hundred and then they don't even
understand how to dirt through the list
build a relationship they don't know
list segmentation they don't know email
marketing copywriting so there's a lot
to it so what I teach my students to do
is to leverage free advertising
strategies first do the hard stuff first
start doing video marketing because
video marketing is the future people
want to consume content through video
they want to consume content faster than
just reading a blog right Facebook also
allows you to build that bond videos
getting bigger and bigger on Facebook
and Facebook is a great platform to use
in conjunction with YouTube because
people can still look at your profile go
through your you know your newsfeed look
at your pictures and they can build a
bomb that way based off of what you like
what you post about day to day if you
like to play fort night and other people
on your you know your following on your
list like to play for it and I you know
you're kind of building that bond that
way too as well but there's nothing
faster than building a bond through
video marketing or through YouTube
marketing and you know I love YouTube
marketing because you're giving people
what they are searching for so for
example if somebody typed in you know
how to make money with affiliate
marketing or the truth about affiliate
marketing they found this video you know
because I know what people are looking
for online so that's what I like about
YouTube too as well is that people are
typing in exactly what they want you're
delivering it to them versus somebody
just scrolling through Facebook watching
cat videos and then you having to
interrupt them with an ad and take them
from a social mindset to like a consumer
like buyer mindset to where
like being sold - it's it's hard to
transition them it's a different animal
each platform is different and so you
really have to understand the behavior
of the platform the purpose of the
specific platform right so this is what
you're really left with you're left with
free traffic strategies you're left with
branding which is the future a lot of
these Wang preneur czar going to be left
by the wayside because they do not want
to post consistent content they don't
want to do video which is good yes it
means affiliate marketing is going to be
easier again for those people that of
course are willing to do video so it's
almost like history repeats itself right
we've we've heard about that when it
comes like the stock market when it
comes to history when it comes to market
trends it will get easier you know there
will be a point where the want Renault's
that are trying to you know that we're
making a bunch of money with e-commerce
suit like Facebook Ads and people that
we're doing affiliate marketing and
direct linking and doing solo ads those
people will sort of be filtered out and
the people that are gonna win are the
people that are content creators content
is going to be keen branding is going to
be king you look at people like Kylie
Jenner
I think it's Kylie Jenner right
billion-dollar business or close to a
billion dollars not because she knows
anything about business or that she's an
entrepreneur I'm not like throwing rocks
at her but I understand from a marketers
perspective she is a standalone brand
you know Instagram along with like her
association with Kim Kardashian made her
famous she blew up because of social
media and it was because of her brand
and now she's selling makeup products
from I don't know China that are marked
up 80% that aren't really good quality
but yet she's making a lot of money for
the short term because of her brand
right so how about you have a quality
product and you have a quality brand and
you build a business for the long term
there's still a few tactics out there
that will work short term but they're
dying they're gonna die here really
quickly so avoid the mistakes that I
made you know I have 600 different
YouTube channel seriously all with
different email addresses
I put one video on each of these
channels and ranking at the top of
YouTube they worked for a while YouTube
cheese without their algorithm they're
like Josh play the long game so I
learned from that that's not the only
tactic there were some other tactics I
did do direct linking I did do some
other things that didn't work anymore
so the message is is to build a brand do
video marketing understand that profit
margins are minut unless you are
promoting high ticket products right
that's one of the reasons why I've
promoted high ticket products in the
past that's the reason why I promote
some high ticket products right now
because I can spend more money to
acquire customer but a lot of you guys
don't want to spend a lot of money to
get into a program to get the products
so you can actually promote those
products and make big commissions and I
see a lot of you struggling because you
don't have that type of money or you
don't understand
your numbers you don't understand that
you're selling a hundred dollar product
and you get a 50% Commission which is 50
bucks but yet you're spending $200 to
acquire a customer right instead of
having a product that's a thousand
dollars you make 50% Commission make
$500 right and they're spending $200 to
acquire that customer you see what I'm
saying
so either you you got to be selling your
own products or you got to be selling
high ticket products or you got to be
leveraging free traffic strategies like
Instagram YouTube right there's still
like Twitter there's for marketing
there's you you know Google SEO there's
blogging you know it all works but
what's working right now what's gonna
continue to continue to work and get
better is of course YouTube marketing
and video marketing it is the future
it's just the way that people are
consuming content threes are waking up
the brushing their teeth or listening to
audio or they're coming home from work
and they're watching Netflix or they're
watching YouTube or they're watching
some sort of video Instagram videos
that's just how people are consuming
content they got massive ATD and if you
made it to this point in the video
congratulations right also affiliate
marketing you got to wait a month
usually you net 30 days 30 or 45 days to
get paid out which means
you spent a bunch of money on paid
advertising you got to wait a month
until you get that money back
so you can reinvest and that's hard to
do especially we need cash flow to to
reinvest inside your business and not to
mention if you're also doing affiliate
marketing with high ticket programs
there sells people to do all the selling
for you so they paint this picture of
will close the sells for you we take
care of all the products fulfillment you
just got to build a brand drive the
traffic well I love the business model
and it does work it's harder for it to
work with pay traffic because you don't
know if that salesperson that's selling
for you is having an off day but yeah
you just paid 50 to 100 dollars to
acquire that customer and is that person
going to sell your client that you just
brought in it's up to them you really
don't have control over that which makes
a you know high ticket affiliate
marketing hard for you as a paid
marketer so there's less risk if you're
gonna do a high ticket do again free
marketing strategies start with
something conservative and there's a
million ways not a million ways but
there's many ways to get traffic through
YouTube
not just the search and appearing at the
top of the YouTube search engine but in
the suggested video section the homepage
70% of my traffic actually comes from
the suggestive video section you know I
built a multiple five figure monthly
business from 100 cent free traffic from
YouTube and now I'm just beginning to do
paid traffic but now I'm at a point also
where I'm promoting my own products
right the whole reason behind this video
is for me to tell you what you need to
be doing what you should be focusing on
so you're not continuing to lose money
with paid apps you're not a sucker for
solo ads so you know how to do free
traffic the right way and build a
foundation and then run retargeting ads
to people that have already viewed your
content so that your costs are very very
low right that's how you do a Philly at
marketing the right way and then you
start promoting your own products which
is what I'm doing right now so you look
in the description now there's no if
there might be a couple of Philly
products but primarily I'm promoting my
own products so what my goal is is to
teach you everything in detail what I
explained it how you actually drive free
traffic how do you run retargeting how
do you create your own economy where
you're not relying on one single income
stream to one single affiliate offer but
how do I create multiple income streams
how do I eventually create my own
products how do i do retargeting how do
I do all that stuff so if you'd like the

failing or you will fail because of
profit margins you'll lose money doing
paid traffic unless you are an expert
unless you're like a wizard at paid
traffic email marketing is dying people
are you know if they're checking their
email they're being bombarded with so
many different emails and you're gonna
have to really stand out no copywriting
it would stand out what's the solution
to that keep people on the platform that
they're on and run retargeting ads
instead of having them pay having them
to pay to opt-in to an email list
getting the lead for like $2 but the
goal is is to get them to open up that
email and to click that email so if the
email ends up in the space
folder or amongst a bunch of other
emails people are gonna have a trouble
finding it and if they do find it you
realize that only one out of you know
five people are actually finding the
email and then one out of I don't know
ten people are clicking the email and
then one out of 20 people are actually
viewing the video from the link that
they clicked in the email and then
you're really spending ten dollars to
get a person to watch your video or you
can run a retargeting app to the people
who watch your content before and have
them view the piece of content you
wanted them to view in the email for
like two cents how about that would you
