Unboxing A $400 Mystery Box (Worth It?)

- Hey, what is going on guys?
Welcome back to The Channel.
So today, I'm going to unboxing a mystery box.
Now my reason for bu
ying this is because
about a week ago, I'm trying this new thing where I
bought a bunch of returned merchandise from eBay
and I'm going to try to be selling it
and to make a profit.
Well while I was scrolling through those listings,
this popped up in the sidebar and
it caught my attention.
Essentially it is a mystery box and
I have absolutely no idea what I purchased.
So what I'm gonna do is
I'm gonna un-box it for you guys.
So I spent like 400 bucks on this mystery box.
All I ask in return is that you go ahead and
drop a like on this video to show your support and
if you guys enjoy this video, they actually sell
mystery boxes that are as much as $5000.
So I might do a repeat of this video if I
get enough likes on it, so go ahead and
drop that like button guys.
You know what to do.
So that being said, the first thing I wanna do is
read the listing because the listing itself
was kind of funny and then we are going to
open this bad boy up and see what exactly they sent me.
So the title of this listing was called
Mysteries Box! New & Used, quote unquote
"Satisfying Stuff" No Junk or Trash!
And then the actual description of this listing
was even more vague.
It had the same exact title and
it said shipped with USPS First Class Package and
the image of this was just a question mark and
a Mystery Box written on it.
So I literally know absolutely nothing
about what's in this box.
In total with shipping, I believe this was
around 420, 425, somewhere around there.
I'll put a screenshot up on the screen
for an exact figure, and so what I think we're
gonna do after we open it and unbox it,
I'll probably try to sell some of this stuff and
see if I can like get my money back out of it.
I'm guessing that somebody did this to make money
selling mystery boxes so they take
a bunch of random junk, put it in a box, and
sell it to people like me on eBay.
So I doubt that we can totally recoup the money
from this box but we'll see what happens and so
if you guys wanna see me do that in a follow-up
video where I try to sell this stuff
let me know in the comment section below.
But that's gonna be it for the introduction here.
Let's go ahead and open this box and
see what $400 bought me.
So the first thing I'm noticing about this box
is that it's from Kev and it says
Slims One Stop Shop.
I'm not gonna read you guys the address but
it's from South Carolina so it seems like it's
from somebody's store in South Carolina.
So let's go ahead and open this up and
see what we have.
As far as the box goes weight-wise
I'd say it's about maybe 20 pounds and
it's a pretty big box so I'm hoping there's
multiple different items in here.
Hopefully some of which have actual value.
(box tearing)
All right, so there's a good amount of
packing material in here
so I'm guessing it's a fragile item and
it says Toshiba ESR on the front here.
I have no idea what this is.
Toshiba ESR.
Toshiba ESR.
This is some kind of reflective material
and there's two of them in this box.
So, if anybody knows what these things are,
go ahead and drop me a comment down below
cause I'm utterly confused.
Then we have more, there's an X-Box in here.
There's an X-Box One which is kinda funny because
I was just about to buy one of these.
(laughing)
So there's an X-Box and
there's whatever these are and then there is
a copy of Grand Theft Auto V.
So we have these Toshiba ESR's and I, again,
I'll have to do some research
on what exactly these are.
We have an X-Box One and then we had a copy here
of Grand Theft Auto V.
Now keep in mind guys, I spent $400 on this box
so I'm not seeing $400 of value so far.
Next we a couple of more X-Box games,
Black Ops 2,
a copy of Madden NFL
2016,
Mad Max,
MXGP2,
and then we have
a hard-wired X=Box controller,
some kind of gaming headset,
another X-Box controller here,
one more X-Box controller with no battery pack,
and then the associated cords and wires
that go with it.
So essentially at the end of the day,
I have spent $400 on a X-Box One.
So I'm not quite sure how I feel about that.
Definitely I don't believe there's $400
of value here.
Would you say something in this video, Ben
from just behind the scenes,
or no? - [Ben] I don't care.
- How much value-wise do you think we have
between all these items?
- [Ben] Honestly I see about a good $300.
- Oh is there? Okay. We'll see, then.
Maybe I don't know the value of these things.
Maybe we'll get our money back, maybe not.
I actually needed an X-Box,
so I might actually keep it.
That is what a $400 Mystery Box gets you on eBay.
Essentially it looks like somebody was trying
to sell and X-Box and then whatever this is,
I'll do some research online and
then they instead said wait a second,
I'll just sell it as a Mystery Box and
then make more.
So, we'll see if I end up selling this or not.
I'll let you guys know but if you guys enjoyed
this video, go ahead and drop a Like.
If I can get, let's say, 5000 likes on this video
I will buy another Mystery Box and
I will unbox it here on this channel.
So if you guys wanna see that,
smash that Like button.
I know we can do easily 5000 cause
this was actually a lot of fun,
and then maybe we'll end up listing these things
on eBay as well.
But thanks so much for watching this video guys.
I hope you enjoyed it.
