channel here in today's video I'm gonna
show you why you are probably failing in
your affiliate marketing business what I
would basically do if I could go back
and start from scratch what I would do
what I would look at sort of my 30,000
foot view I think this video is really
going to help you so if you are brand

being said let's get out of this garage
exactly how you can get started with
affiliate marketing the right way
okay so again this is what I wish I knew
when starting affiliate marketing as a
complete beginner and we've got two
scenarios here we have marketer a up
here and we have marketer be down here
as you can see I've already got this
written out to make it easy for us to
kind of go through here as quickly as
possible and get this value out to you
guys
so marketer a this is what the typical
beginner is told to do and this is
typically what the beginner does and I
think the reason why beginners are told
to do it this way is because it is
easier it's easier for them to digest
but as an expert we're doing beginners a
disservice by not thinking that they're
smart enough to learn what market or B
is doing so marketer a will get quick
results as a beginner right they'll
start running fast traffic methods which
are basically paid advertising methods
like solo ads Facebook traffic being
traffic etc and they'll get their first
few cells and they'll be excited they'll
be stoked and then what will happen is
they'll hit a brick wall they'll
actually start losing money they won't
you know see an ROI on that initial solo
ad that they did or that initial
Facebook run that they did and they'll
start to get discouraged and they'll
think that making money online is a big
scam and it doesn't work and this is a
very high-risk way of building a
business I don't believe that you should
teach people pay traffic right off the
bat unless they've somewhat man
stirred cells and marketing right they
can take a complete stranger and turn
them into a buyer as quickly as possible
we're talking about you know within a
one and a half two hour webinar if you
don't know how to do webinars then it's
very hard to build that relationship
very very quickly without really
understanding you know the attractive
character and what the attractive
character actually is it's basically
getting people to know like and trust
you to pre frame them and sort of
indoctrinate them into knowing you
liking you and really trusting you and
that's really hard for market or a to do
so the way that I got started was from
doing organic free advertising methods
and we're gonna get into that in just a
second but let me tell you exactly why
marker a is a high risk when it comes to
failing inside of their online marketing
business and this is really why 98% of
the people do end up failing is because
it's almost oversimplified so they take
traffic right we need eyeballs to a
website and what they'll do is they will
send that traffic to a affiliate product
so when it comes to affiliate marketing
of course we're selling other people's
products and we get a cut of the
Commission anywhere between like you
know thirty percent all the way up to
you know ninety percent plus depending
on you know the relationship we have
with the specific product creator and
how many cells we've been able to make
for them so you can see them at the
health and fitness page here and the
back office of Clickbank and you know
here's a product that sells a you know
pretty well the average Commission is
100 and $3.66 but for the most part when
it comes to a health product you're
going to see commissions that range
right around $30 or so so we'll kind of
take the averages here and you know for
example we'll say that this red tea
detox right here that earns us as $27
Commission and so what we do is we take
this traffic we sent it from a solo ad
or Facebook or beaming and we send it
straight to the product or even a sales
funnel and we end up getting a $27
Commission which is great
but we're spending you know at least
$100 to require a $27 customer aka we're
spending $1 per lead and then we have a
2 percent conversion rate that's
typically the average conversion rate on
a sales page and this is sort of what
the process looks like in case you guys
don't know of course so for example we'd
send people from Facebook let's say this
is Facebook paid ads not actually
Facebook groups and let's say we're
sending them to an opt-in page where we
capture the name and email address then
we send them to a pre-sale page which is
this is like the indoctrination process
where we build know like and trust and
we send them to the actual sales page
this is where the 2% conversion rate is
occurring and then what will happen is
we will drive all this traffic through
this sells funnel right we'll spend a
hundred bucks we get a $27 cell we end
up losing 46 bucks
part of the reason because we don't know
this back-end process and another reason
is because advertising costs are so dang
high and they're raising and when it
comes to Facebook Ads costs are going up
when it comes to solo ad costs costs are
going up I'm seeing so lot providers
charging what a dollar
you know Plus to have a lead sent to you
know through your sales process we're
back in the day you can get good quality
leads for like 50 cents now I'm not
saying that that still can't be done but
it's very very hard to do for the
inexperienced marketer so you can kind
of see why this is a broken process
right here and most of the time people
don't even have this pre sell page in
place they just basically build a funnel
give it to the you know solo app
provider and they'll send traffic
straight from an opt-in page to a sales
page and you're really not separating
yourself from the marketplace by doing
that yeah you're gonna get a lot of more
front-end sells but then your refund
rates gonna be higher and then Plus on
the back end you need to get people to
open up your emails and that's a whole
nother game is making sure you got the
right headlines making sure you got the
right copy making sure that you're
sending emails out every single day in a
at a certain time in a certain style
of emails and yeah the learned
storytelling it's a it's a process it's
you know there's more details than what
a lot of gurus will tell you and so
that's why I recommend getting started
with what marketer B has in place you
know not to be biased but this is
exactly how I got started I wasn't
looking for the quick results people
promise quick results they give you the
instant gratification but on then in the
long run you're actually failing which
is what marketer a is doing marketer B
is being more patient they realize the
work that they do today won't give them
results necessarily you know the same
day not even tomorrow but weeks and even
months down the road so you could put up
content today and you can get $1,000 or
$2,000 commission two months from now
from the content that you put up today
and that's the sort of thinking that you
need in the first place when you're
coming into an online business I can
promise you if you got that
get-rich-quick mindset if you buy into
that instant gratification you know you
might be saying well why do people have
marketing messages that are based around
like results now well people like
yourself buy into it we're humans we
want things fast that's why the diet
pills still sell that's why those app
belts sell so well on those late-night
infomercials because we buy into the
easy stuff but if I can get you guys to
think long term and look at your
business from the ground up like if
you're building a foundation for a house
the foundation would be free traffic and
then you would layer that with paid
advertising methods because you have the
insurance
you know below those specific methods
aka you know the insurance of course is
your free advertising so what's so cool
is you know I've been able to
consistently generate well over will say
like 50 leads a day on average for the
past four and a half years straight I
think almost five years now and right
now I'm bringing in over a hundred 50
leads a day and I've what I'm saying
here is I've always got customers on a
daily basis leads coming through my
business and that's what you need
when it
comes to paid advertising you turn the
faucet on for a little bit and all these
leads come in and then you turn the
faucet off and the leads stop until
you've turned the faucet on again what's
so cool about having free traffic is
you're slowly turning on that faucet
more and more until more and more
water's coming out at a faster rate and
that's what's so cool about this because
you're you're growing steadily it's safe
its conservative and it's the best way
to start for anybody but it's going to
require that you go out there and you be
super consistent you put up content you
know on a on a daily basis that you
don't buy into the now results but be
happy with the progress that you're
making throughout time right and so
long-term thinking when it comes to
driving traffic leads and sells inside
of your business this is what I wish I
started doing when I first got started
you know I struggle for five years
buying into this stuff over here and I
never really plugged into the concept of
brand building and actually building a
long-term sustainable brand and that's
what we're doing it here essentially is
we're actually building our brand at the
same time or building trust with people
which means we have to we can spend less
time selling people because we're
actually selling without selling by just
giving people flat-out value showing
them that we're an expert in actually
helping them and then they're more
likely going to buy from us without
having to have some complicated funnel
or sales process or webinar because
you're giving them value on a daily
basis in spite size pieces so you're
proving to them that you can help them
and at the same time you're building
trust and your your selling your
products without even knowing it so
that's what's so cool about leveraging
YouTube and video marketing Facebook
groups
Instagram forums you know there's
Pinterest as well I mean there's tons of
free methods out there but here's what
the marketer be does the master marketer
I guess you would say is they pick one
traffic source and they master it out of
these traffic sources here so you want
to master it you want to spend the next
six to twelve months just mass
during one of these specific strategies
and then sort of building your business
around that specific strategy so my my
expertise is SEO its YouTube marketing
there's multiple ways I can build like
there's different businesses that I can
build with that one strategy I can build
an affiliate marketing business I can
build an agency right I can do
consulting those are three ways that I
can generate income from just that one
you know leveraged expertise so that's
what you want to be doing as well okay
after you master one traffic source you
can obviously send people to any product
that you want with no risk because
you're not trading money but you're
trading your time you know when I got
started I didn't have a lot of money and
so this worked extremely well for me and
what's also cool is on the back end when
you get people on to an email list right
you can start to follow up by selling
other products and even you know scaling
with your own products as well and then
you can actually use that money just to
begin safely investing into paid
advertising like you know especially
like on Facebook you can start with five
bucks a day then scale to ten and
fifteen and twenty dollars and
eventually spend hundreds of dollars a
day and build a multi-million dollar
business so that this is the way that I
would recommend that you build a
business be market or be be somebody
that puts out consistent value what you
can do is you can compensate for lack of
technical experience by just giving
people you know overwhelming them with
value they will naturally try and find
you on social media and reach out to you
to buy your stuff or to get mentoring I
get messages every single day of people
that want mentoring without even like
sending them through a sales funnel okay
and I've actually got some Facebook Ads
that I'm running right now that are
going to show you this in practice that
this actually works and you know I've
also shown that in my youtube channel
you go back to a lot of my videos my
income videos I'll show you that people
are buying because of the value that I'm
giving you know so branding works I
think it's the best way it's the future
influencer marketing so with that being
