3 Ways To Get Rich Online By Helping Others

Hey Miles here, milesbeckler.com.
In this video you are going to learn the three ways to get rich,
helping other people get results. Now at the end of this video,
I'm going to tie them all together and you're going to see how each of these
three ways works together to create one extremely lucrative business model,
but we need to break down each component first. And the core here,
really the big idea that runs through all of these is that you can help people
get results. When you're in a position in your life,
you've gained some level of mastery of something that other people are willing
to invest in.
The rest of the busin
ess game becomes relatively easy.
And I've got some very specific examples for you here.
So what are those three approaches? Well, first number one, it is coaching.
Number two, it is creating courses. And number three,
our membership programs. And again,
we're going to talk about each of these and why they're different and why we
work at them or look at them different,
but then how you're able to potentially combine them with specific examples.
So on the first one, coaching.
Now everyone on this earth wants to improve their lives in some way.
There's been authors who have talked about the entire world of selling,
as in every human being just wants more happiness.
And when we or when you can help them achieve the happiness they desire,
that is when you're able to make a sale ultimately.
So some people think that happiness comes in the form of losing weight.
Other people think that happiness comes in the form of bulking up and actually
gaining weight, right?
So what happiness means can be very different to different people.
But when you have the ability,
generally this comes because you have created a specific result for yourself.
And when you have the ability to help other people achieve and experience and
game this result, they're willing to pay.
And coaching is an easy sale because most people are extremely busy.
They need help, they want handholding, and they need accountability.
And as a coach,
that's what you do in this kind of a situation is you're there with them on the
phone, whether it's weekly, biweekly, monthly, whatever it is for you,
you're really making sure that they stay accountable,
that they stay on track to achieve their goals,
that they really are actually getting the results that they desire.
And for this level of attention, you charge the most money, right?
A lot of times people, uh,
I believe add way too many automations and way too much in between the moment of
op making the offer and making the sale.
A lot of coaching can actually be sold through direct messages in social media
network. So, um,
if you're actively in Facebook groups and weight loss groups and you're just
giving tips and you're just helping people, you're not promoting anything,
you're not sending out links and other people's groups,
you're simply being a helpful person and you're making connections and you're
having conversations in those groups.
And then you go add those individuals as friends on Facebook and you continue to
post positive,
high quality helpful content on your actual Facebook profile.
You can mix in an occasional post of, Hey,
I'm looking to help three people lose 10 pounds next month.
If you're interested in,
you want help D M me and at that moment the conversation is open.
So the process to sell coaching can be extremely simple and so many people get
it all complexified with a ton of content and often pages and this and that and
fancy automations and autoresponder sequences. Yes,
it can work and it does work, especially when you have a proven process.
But ultimately it can be as simple as go out, be helpful,
can make connections,
build new relationships and ultimately open lines of communication through
direct messages. No fancy many chats, nothing like that. Be a real person,
be helpful. And when they realize that they trust you, they like you,
they see that you've created the result for yourself,
they can see some of your case studies that you've helped other people.
Their willingness to purchase from you goes way up and all you really need to do
is to come upon an agreement in the direct messages before sending them a PayPal
invoice is the simplest way to get going.
And that's why coaching was number one here because it's extremely simple to get
going and think about it this way. If you're able to get a client,
if you're able to get $1,000 per client as your price point and you get five
clients, that's $5,000 per month right there in income for holding what,
five calls per week. I have a good friend,
he's built a YouTube channel up and he actually did a launch at $2,500 per month
and he brought on at least four or five people.
He went from pretty much zero in the coaching world to over $10,000 per month in
recurring revenue because of this approach. Now he's an expert,
he's put out hundreds of videos.
He absolutely has been able to proven to help people get the kinds of results
that they want in the mental health space.
So he brought that to the table beforehand and that's one of the core keys here.
Now, number two is creating courses. So in creating courses,
the greatest thing that you kind of open up to a above and beyond what you get
with the coaching is that you get into the world of leverage.
And what I mean by leverage is it would be really difficult for a weight loss
coach, a fitness coach, or an e-sports coach or a golf coach to get to,
to handle a hundred separate clients in a day, right?
There's simply not enough time. If you're doing 30 minutes per client,
a hundred of those,
there simply is not enough time in the day to actually fulfill that many people,
but you generally are getting a lower price point because they aren't getting
that one on one interaction and they're really on their own with the
accountability with the implementation. You might have a group,
you might offer a once a week Q and a call for everyone,
but it's a little bit different of a value proposition.
So the benefit for the user on a course is they get your system. Now,
how do you perfect your system?
And that's something that's really important to think about it.
It's generally because you've spent time working one on one with individuals
coaching them. So my wife, when she started her brand,
she did hundreds upon hundreds of one on one phone and Skype sessions.
Okay. That's how she learned what their big problems were,
what the challenges were, how to help them overcome their challenges.
When I started in the world of digital marketing,
I helped dozens upon dozens of clients, one on one,
improve their websites, improve their rankings, and improve their conversions.
That's how I gained a ton of experience,
not just building my site and my wife's site,
but helping dozens upon dozens upon dozens of actual real businesses improve
their businesses through digital marketing.
That gave me the experience that's now flowing out through my courses that are
inside of my membership. So you have to have a proven process.
You build your proven process ultimately by helping people one on one,
seeing what works, seeing what doesn't, testing your approach,
and then at some point you've gone through your process six, seven,
eight times in a row.
And every person that comes into contact with your process,
it works and they get results.
That's when you know you're ready to move on to building your own courses.
And you can sell hundreds of courses.
We wake up some mornings and we've sold dozens upon dozens of courses.
We are in a lot of income without actually having to fulfill on that income.
One of the other cool ways to sell your courses is to sell it before you build
it. And ultimately what you want to do is you want to have generally the outline
created and then you want to have the first module done.
You need to know the roadmap of where you're taking people,
but then you launch it to the world and you sell it to the world.
And as people buy in,
you actually create and deliver each week's modules on demand.
And what this allows you to do is number one,
you get paid first before creating all the content. Number two,
it gives you the opportunity to put out your content with this beta group,
with these founding members,
and then you're in a position to start to adapt it on the fly.
Because as course creators, we think we know what they need.
We think we know it's going to get them the results.
And then the actual real experience of them implementing what we teach often
evolves.
And this is a way to quickly get through that iteration process with your
clients. Um,
it's a little bit more difficult to get people results through courses,
but you have that scale component and you can charge a lot less for a course
than you can for one on one coaching. For example,
the most expensive Facebook course that I've ever purchased is $2,000.
And the most expensive Facebook coaching I've ever purchased was $5,000 per
month for six months, which is, um, you know, $30,000 ultimately right there.
So, so there's a very big price point, and I'll be honest,
I think I've got more value out of this most recent $2,000 course I'm in than I
did from the a $5,000 per month coaching, which is kind of an interesting point.
Um,
the basic idea here is that once you have your system through creating courses,
you can scale that to hundreds and even thousands of individuals,
which is really difficult to do through coaching.
Then number three is membership programs. Now I've got a friend, Dave wooding,
he does all my integrations and he says that that membership and recurring
income is the Holy grail of income because ultimately you're getting paid month
after month after month, but only certain things work with membership programs.
It needs to be a forever problem. Okay?
Do you need to be solving a problem that isn't kind of a one and done solution?
If you are coaching people on getting a great deal on a car,
that's kind of a one and done thing.
Once they get the car that you coach them on getting a great deal on,
they paid you $1,000 and you saved them $7,000 against list price.
They're really happy, but they have no need to keep paying you. Okay.
And that's where I run a membership program. It's currently closed right now,
but building a business online is kind of a forever challenge. Right? I'm,
I've been making money online since 2003,
so I'm currently 17 years into this and I'm still learning. I'm still studying,
I'm still testing new things. I'm still practicing.
I'm still learning how to hire.
It really truly is a forever problem to build a scalable lifestyle business.
So some other ideas in the, um, rural of memberships,
these types of forever problems, learning languages. Okay.
So I speak a bit of Spanish and uh,
I was actually at a Spanish class here yesterday to improve my Spanish and
there's really going to always be an opportunity for me to improve my Spanish.
And this is where a membership can work. Yes, I can do one on one coaching,
but also a membership where we can dial into a group Skype chat once a week
would also be a great solution. For me, weight loss is generally speaking,
they ultimately want a result. I want to lose 10 pounds,
I want to lose 20 pounds. But for them to keep that weight off,
it's really a lifestyle change that needs to happen.
And that's where you can offer it in a membership program. Uh,
the daily burn is a good example of this.
There's online gyms that are examples of this Gulf e-sports copywriting is
another one. And copywriting is the idea. I want to dig deep.
And of course Facebook ads and Google ads, there's a,
there's 1,000,001 things you can create membership programs on because they're
kind of forever challenges. But on the idea of copywriting,
I want to now break it down what I mentioned in the beginning of how you can
create kind of one business, um,
based that goes through all three of these levels.
And that's where it gets extremely lucrative. So with copywriting,
I may be brand new at copywriting. Okay,
and I want an inexpensive way to learn the basics of copywriting in this world.
You know, a copywriting course would be great for me. I can buy it online,
I can click, I can download, I can go through the modules,
I can go through the templates, I can go through the bonuses on my own time,
and I can start to skill up as I have time.
So that makes it really good for me as the consumer.
And you as the copywriting teacher, you just sold the copywriting.
Real quick caveat,
you really need to be a great copywriter if you're going to be selling how to do
copywriting, okay? This should be stated. I've stated it multiple times over,
but if you don't have five, 10 15 years of experience as a copywriter,
if you haven't written sales letters that have generated millions upon millions
of dollars online,
if you don't have a bunch of recurring income from the client work that you've
done, you probably shouldn't be teaching copywriting.
You should probably be executing copywriting.
You should probably be offering copywriting services.
But the example we're working with here is for experts who've gained a level of
expertise in what they do and they're looking to give back to help the next
generation really speed up the learning curve.
So my entrance point to your copyrighting content would be that I buy your
copywriting course and I can go through it.
Now from here you may have a membership where I can upload once per week a
different piece of copy that you would critique for me.
Now this is a forever membership and it would be extremely valuable to me.
This is one of the offers that I have for my members inside of content and
conversion. My membership program that is currently close, closed,
they can actually create their own thread where they upload their um,
landing page or their Facebook ad or their sales page.
And I go and I critique it and I help them understand some new split test ideas.
And what happens after you find a winner of a split test?
You come up with a new split test idea.
And this is why copywriting can be a forever problem, right?
But then there's the highest level of copywriting.
Maybe I'm putting together my premium signature product and I'm ready to dial in
a sales page,
and I don't necessarily want to pay 10,000 or $15,000 for a copywriter or more,
right? Dan Kennedy won't touch a project for under $100,000 up front payment.
So maybe I don't want to throw that big of money at it,
but maybe I could go get you as a copywriting coach for $1,000 per month where
we host,
where we do two phone calls each and every week and I can bounce my sales letter
back and forth with you and maybe over the course of two months or three months
while I'm writing this with a few thousand dollars,
I can get you to guide me towards creating a sales letter that is going to out
convert what I would have done on my own and or you would help me get it done
more quickly so I can get my product to market more quickly,
which means I can generate a return on that investment more quickly.
All of those options are reasons why each of those individual products are
valuable, right? The, the coaching, the membership,
and also the course itself.
There's different tiers for different segments of your audience and you as an
expert, as an authority, as you grow,
you can work with people coaching in a one on one setting that'll help you
generate cashflow quickly and it'll also help you build your systems.
Once you have your systems and your processes all dialed,
you can transition and you can start and build your own courses.
Now at this point, you're going to need to get into marketing and advertising.
You should have an audience. Hopefully you've got an email list,
so when you launch your course to the world,
there's actually people who are going to sign up for your course and then after
the course is done,
you have the opportunity to offer them a membership program where they can
continue with you to get the results,
to get the accountability to get what they truly desire if it is ultimately a
lifelong problem. Now, this is the path that my wife and I have both taken.
Now, I don't personally offer one on one coaching.
My time's a little bit too valuable for that right now,
but I do have a membership program. You don't have to do all of them,
but you can at this point in time.
My wife doesn't do any one on one sessions anymore. She hasn't for many,
many years. Um,
the numbers and the value just don't work out for us in that way.
And it's also something that's not in alignment with our personality.
So what I mean by this is you don't need to do all three. It is optional.
You can do all three if you want,
or you can start at any which level works best for you.
But the number one key is that a,
you have been able to consistently create a specific result in your life that
other people value enough to where they would invest in it.
Then you have proven that you can help others get that result.
Also,
both my wife and I began in the world of coaching and consulting.
She was doing one on one sessions.
She did hundreds of one-on-one sessions that gave her hands on experience,
on Skype, on the call back and forth with her best audience,
her best target market to really understand and learn what their challenges are,
what their mental blocks are, what their physical blocks are,
so now the courses she creates in the membership she's created solves all of
those problems. She learned from that. For me,
I went in and started doing digital marketing services for small businesses and
I worked with dozens if not hundreds of independent businesses and this gave me
an amazing variety of experiences over the course of about four or five years
that I had these types of experiences and it really skilled me up to where now I
know how to build brands online.
That's why my wife's brands reached over 40 million people from her blog.
She's reached dozens of millions of people from YouTube,
millions of people from Pinterest, et cetera, et cetera,
over 900,000 fans on Facebook.
That's why the miles Beckler brand was able to grow so quickly here on YouTube.
It's from all of that experience and now I'm teaching this to the world through
the YouTube channel, through my membership, et cetera, et cetera.
Follow the path. The path is proven. If you need the fastest way to earn income,
often selling that coaching through DM in social media is going to be the
fastest approach for you. But again, you have to be able to prove the result.
You have to be able to get the result for yourself and for others and then be
helpful. Go give value in these groups, build relationships,
make real connections,
post helpful content on your Facebook when they reply and engage,
move the conversations into the direct message box and that's where you can make
your offer, is within that direct message box.
If this video has been helpful for you, give me a thumbs up. I appreciate you.
