let me ask you this as gurus come to you
and they said you got to get your emails
going or maybe you've learned a new
strategy online least and you've been
taught how to you know start creating
your email list and how to build it but
maybe you're frustrated because you
don't really know where to start where
to begin and really just how to get
started and this evening in this video
I'm gonna show you five steps on how you
can get started with email marketing for
beginners and you're gonna get up and
get it running quickly and we're gonna
do it like a total boss so if you're new
to the channel if you're new to my
videos I like to give you strategies and
to live that lifestyle basically doing
the fun things that you want to do in
life being able to really you know have
the fun things and not being able to
tied down by somebody else telling you
what to do and we're gonna do that right
here on this video and we're going to do
it with email marketing but before we do
that though we're gonna I want you to
hit that subscribe button hit that Bell
option that way you get notified of all
other videos then I come out with to you
on a daily basis so how do you do it you
know even marketing why even should you
do email marketing email marketing is
gonna be the best way to market your
products services and if you're just new
and you're just getting started I'm
gonna just beat it over your head you
gotta start creating an email list for
yourself it's so important because I
want you to think about this for one
second why this is so important when you
have when you build up an email is you
own that email list you own that data
it's just a CVS file you can take that
and you can move it around to wherever
you want there's a lot of providers out
there that you can move your email list
to think about this if you have a
facebook fanpage and you have a hundred
thousand followers on that fan page and
if Facebook comes around and says we
don't like what you're doing and they
closed down your fan page you're stuck
and you're back to zero and you don't
own it even with YouTube channels you
don't owe them the YouTube channel if
YouTube besides that they don't like the
videos that you're putting up they could
just close your countdown and now you've
lost everything same thing goes with
Instagram or you Twitter any of these at
social media platforms you don't own the
data you're just renting their service
and you're renting
their space in order to promote your
product but if somebody gets onto your
list now you own that and that is a real
asset for you and a lot of people they
miss this they think that that it's more
important to get followers and get
friends and get all the social
engagement but it's more important to
build a list because the list you own
you control and you can do a lot more
with it now email is you know it's
people are still using email alright I
mean when you sign up for Facebook
people get an email to sign up at
Facebook so if you lose your password
with Facebook it has to go to your email
so people are always using emails
they're always checking it on their
phone they're always at the computers
check an email so emails not going
anywhere unless something crazy happens
but emails been around since since day
one and it's always gonna be around for
forever as long as we're using emails to
communicate and now if I don't ever see
them going to like instant messengers
they're not gonna you're not gonna get
an instant message with your password it
just doesn't work emails the safest and
it's the where everybody's at okay so
let's get into five simple strategies on
how you can build your email list and
the important thing is first thing you
want to do is you want to pick a good
provider so you want to pick an email
provider somebody that's going to handle
the emails for you so give you a couple
examples Aweber comm is gonna be a
really good one that's when I use I've
been using them for years and years
they're always they're always up they
always deliver
never had a problem with them there's
also get response get response is
similar to Aweber and get response is
going to be a good platform so if you
have an email list and Aweber decides
hey we don't like what you're doing you
could take your list and you can import
it to get response and you can start
emailing again your business would
continue to go and you never be out you
know a list so get response is a good
one now MailChimp is gonna be another
one but MailChimp you got to be careful
with because they don't really like
affiliate marketing okay so you got to
really really be careful with filling
with MailChimp activecampaign is giving
another one and there also are going to
be not really
they don't really like affiliate
marketing now if you have your own
products and your mailing for your own
products MailChimp is a good platform
and activecampaign is going to be a good
platform ok so these are going to be
good now there's another one
clickfunnels they have a higher end
program where they use their system but
it actually uses Amazon mail servers so
you actually sign up with with Amazon
SCM as SMS mail servers and you would
use you connect that with click funnels
but that's a little deep it's a little
technical so there are other programs
out there that you can use to yourself
and if you wanted to you could just
create your own platform and you can use
SMS services like Amazon and you can
mail through their servers you just
gotta be really careful because a lot of
times they shut you down pretty quick
and you would be out that so you just
want to be really careful with that okay
so pick a provider and then go with it
like I said a weber comm is going to be
the one that i pick that's what i use i
just love them they're great they're
always on chat they're always there
support so it's good and as long as your
mailing good and you're you're building
a list and you're active your list you
won't have any problems so the second
one we start collecting emails so when
you get your provider going they're
going to give you a template or they're
going to give you some code that you're
going to put on your website and it's
going to be how you collect emails so
you have this code on your website and
it's gonna be just a simple code that
says enter in your name your email and
then hit submit so when somebody hits
their name puts in their name and email
they hit submit then it goes on to the
next page okay so you want to start
collecting emails and you can do that
with oh there's all kinds of different
ways to collect emails from your website
okay so step number three is going to be
choose a template right now when I talk
about template I'm talking about I'm
talking about the template inside of
your emails now there's a there's a lot
of different theories on this and what I
tell people too is just pick one that
you like and just run with that and see
how it works okay so what I'm talking
about templates is when you get an email
there's there's either a text-based
template that comes through or just you
know regular email or comes through as a
HTML looking page so sometimes you get
an email with with that kyle has
graphics in it and has you know
different maybe a video in it all of
that you could pick a template
and you can use those templates to
create your emails now when you first
get me started and you create this
template it's going to kind of be your
staple so when people get emails from
you they're gonna see this template and
they're going to get used to this
template coming from you so you want to
pick one and stick with it because
that's kind of kind of be your branding
that template will be the branding that
you sent out so if you wanted to create
one of these templates yourself you can
I highly choose you just pick one inside
of the the providers and then start
writing your emails using those
templates alright but there's a
different school of thought on those
some people like templates some people
don't like templates totally up to you
but if we pick one stick with the one
because it's like your branding when you
send out emails all right now the fourth
one is gonna be you want to plan out
your topics so you know a lot of times
you can just you can take your emails
you can sit down every morning and you
could write an email if you want where
you can plan them out I like to plan
mine out for some of the emails some of
the the lists that I have so I have like
Mondays I'll talk about certain thing on
Tuesdays I'll I'll talk about a certain
thing on Wednesdays I'll talk about
certain thing and I have these in my
calendar so every day when I'm gonna
send out in an email I just go to my
calendar and I see okay what is my topic
for today so then my topic is gonna be
whatever it is for that day and then I'm
gonna write the email around that topic
and send it out so then I don't have to
think about it it's already pre-done all
I have to do is go to my calendar and
look at the topics that I'm going to
talk about now your emails can be you
know you can just come in there and and
just wing it and try to think about what
you're gonna do but if you create the
topics ahead of time it's gonna make
it's gonna be a lot easier to narrow
down what you want to talk about on that
that you know that email that sent out
and then the last one the fifth is going
to be sending out daily emails now
people think well if I send out daily
emails people are going to unsubscribe
you know they're probably not gonna
unsubscribe anyways whether you send out
an email every day once a week once a
month but the thing about it is if you
send out once a week people are going to
forget about you if you send out once a
month they're totally gonna forget about
you so it's actually going to be worse
because if you send out once a month
people gonna get this email I came back
who is this I don't
person I'm not used to this person it's
probably spam I'm gonna report it so
once a month you probably gonna get
hammered with spam requests because
people just don't know you they forgot
about you they don't really you know
they probably I've opted into a bunch of
other lists they're already on other
marketers list so I always tell people
daily emails are gonna keep you in the
forefront of people on your list you're
gonna get really absolutely I mean if
you're building your list from quality
people there's nobody's gonna complain
the only thing is they might unsubscribe
your list and that's fine let them
unsubscribe you know get off your list
you don't have to worry about that and
then tracking is gonna be the last thing
for that is is if you use a tracking
software you can you can also use
internally just the tracking within the
system so Aweber systems and I use they
show a lot of tracking system there's a
lot of tracking data reports from the
email so you can see how many people
open the emails you can see how many
people click the link and this is a
great it's a it's a really good
indication because for me what I like to
do is if I have an email that was sent
out and I got a lot of opens and I got a
lot of clicks that means there's a
really good email and I'll probably
republish that email probably the next
month and what I'll do is I'll get a
database of emails that were really good
I've got a lot of opens a lot of clicks
and I'll just keep republishing those
same types of emails maybe change around
a little bit but the same structure I'll
keep because something triggered people
to open it and click on the links now
again sometimes there's emails that I
set out that absolutely bomb that nobody
opens nobody clicks and it was just an
experiment but I won't ever send that
email out again that's that's the great
thing about emails you can come back the
next day you can send out a new one and
see what it works ok so there you go
really quick so you want to pick a
provider you know pick a provider Aweber
get response MailChimp whatever one you
want to use the second one is me
collecting emails get you get your code
on your website start collecting emails
get those running choose a template you
can use your template inside of the auto
you know autoresponder provider and then
plan out your topics for the week if you
want to plan them out on your calendar
and the last thing is going to be
sending out daily emails and tracking
everything that you do
