tell my voice is kind of shot i'm still
in the vegas hotel and i'm just packing
know actually clubs are terrible for net
networking you know there's loud music
and you're trying to find out what
someone's website is or what their name
is you're yelling hence this kind of
Barry White type of voice but um you
know I just want to thank you all for
your support unless you know I had a
wonderful time you know those of you who
I've met this weekend or this week or
whatever is you guys are so special to
me in those of you who are not here in
Vegas but still showed your support I
mean that means the world to me I did
not win the podcast awards for either
category that I was nominated for
business or people's choice but you know
that doesn't matter hey how can I
compete with ESPN fantasy football but
be you know just to be nominated next to
those people and then again the
nominations are all user Jenna user
votes and stuff so let's say thank you
thank you you know a few quick lessons
learned here this week you know with my
presentation I want to give a shout out
to my coach mike p who just taught me so
many things about how to deliver a good
presentation you know I've really tried
to go over the top with with the detail
and the delivery of my speech to try and
help people out this time and you'll see
that on the blog eventually I'm Chris
Tucker from chris tucker calm recorded
it for me so thank you Chris if you're
watching this but with the presentation
you know I earned the number of things
one people appreciate small details you
put into it there's a lot of little
things that I included that a lot of
people came up to me afterwards and
talked about and said that was pretty
cool secondly you know I had another
technical glitch during during the the
presentation but you know I recovered
again and you'll see that in the video
hopefully just and other lessons learned
you know just you know that there were
so many great presentations this weekend
unfortunately didn't attend very many
because one of my my presentation was
like on the last day so I was just
focused and nervous about presenting the
whole time and practicing and rehearsing
in my hotel room
but you know I went to a couple in they
were they were amazing but but beyond
the presentations and things like that
the coolest thing that happened this
weekend was just meeting people and
getting to meet people face-to-face and
shake their hand give them hugs you know
some of them were spi fans which is
great some of them are people I've never
met before and great connections were
made not only business-wise but just
friendships and connections and it means
you if you have a blog or website you
got to get out there and meet people I
mean that that's really what it's all
about and maybe not physically I mean
it's hard to get through these events
sometimes but just you know even
virtually just reaching out and trying
to make friends with people who have
your target audience or who you feel you
can help who might be able to help you
back in return um and it's just been an
amazing weekend I've also learned that
it's really difficult to eat at these
conventions chapstick is your best
friend it's really hard to sleep in
Vegas there's so much to do it as a city
that never sleeps yeah I mean I'm just
I'm just ready to go back home and see
my family though you know oh face time
is amazing I was able to have chats with
my family over FaceTime that that was a
blessing so again thank you guys so much
for all your support I'll have a better
report for for you on the blog
eventually i know i haven't posted yet
in 2013 but it's because I've been so
focused on its presentation and yes it
paid off thank you all for the kind
words about how I did put a lot of work
into it and you know it's all for you
