Add a Phone Number to the Top of Propulsion for Wordpress #Best Education Page #Online Earning

hello Alex here from WP eagle in this

video what I'm gonna do is add this

phone number that you can see here to

the propulsion theme so this is the

theme that I've used in my longer videos

our most recently about creating a brand

new website from scratch so if you've

seen these videos you might find it

useful if you haven't I'll post a link

there we go so I check that out it's

quite a long video but it will take you

from nothing to a full website in the

one go if you are using propulsion theme

or you've created a website following my

video then hopefully you'll find this

useful so as I say what we're gonna do

in this video is just add this call us

today message just above the menu I'm

making this video as a request someone

got in touch and said they have made a

site following my videos which is great

and they just wanted to do this so I

thought hey why not so if you've made a

site for one of my videos or if you just

want help we're saying on WordPress then

get in touch and I might make you a

video like this but anyway without much

further chitchat let's get started ok so

what I've done is I'll just show you

exactly what I've done to the site at

that and hopefully you can replicate it

there's a little bit of code involved so

I'll add that to description so you can

just copy and paste it and what we're

gonna do two step process we're gonna

edit the header top PHP which is the one

of the theme files so you need to be

aware that if you do update the theme

you may lose the changes if they change

the header files so just be aware that

and the second step is we're going to

add some CSS just to style that bit of

text so the first thing is to add the

protection you need to go into

appearance and then editor then you need

to go over to the right hand side and

select header then if you scroll down

and what you're looking for is oh there

it is this thing called head container

and then if you scroll down a bit more

you'll see a line that says echo Aviara

underscore logo bloody blah blah blah

and then below that this is where I've

added this bit of code and so it's echo

div class cool now head call us today so

this is the bit that you can change

within the code to call us today of you

know put whatever message you want your

phone number etc

so you need to copy and paste that bit

of code which is in the description I

have below this video or somewhere near

this video I put this bit of code right

there in their header file once you've

done that you need to click update file

down the bottom that will save the

changes and then the second step is we

need to add some CSS and to add some CSS

which is basically to style it make it

look right you need to go to propulsion

theme options and then go into styling

scroll down and you'll see there's a box

called quick CSS and this is the code

you can add its dot Cornell head blah

blah blah float:right and stuff so again

I'll add this text blow the description

this code sorry just copy and paste it

the bit that says CSS so so it matches

exactly what I've got in this box here

copy and paste it once you've done that

click Save Changes and then when you go

back to your website you'll have a

fantastic little message short and sweet
