BIG Update! New Sales Funnel Tech & Marketing Stack Revealed!


all right what is up miles here miles
Beckler dot-com and we are using the new
YouTube live interface this video is all
about my sales funnel specifically
you're gonna learn about some very large
changes in the technology behind my
sales funnel and YouTube is
discontinuing their old way of using
hangouts in order to run the live
streams so I'm practicing getting ready
for when that change happens on the new
live if you can hear me and you can see
me well just give me a quick chat let me
know you're here also let me know where
you're dialing in from dozens of people
are tuning in right now so good to see
all of you super cool to see people
popping in left and right
South Carolina in the house good to see
you now what I've been working on in my
business behind the scenes is a totally
new tech stack and it's a marketing
stack and this is kind of one of the
terms we use when you have one ask them
to the marketer what tools do you use to
essentially run your digital business
it's you know what you're marketing for
a very long time I've been 100% reliant
on WordPress and my wife's website has
generated like 33 million visits from
WordPress which is amazing right but
ultimately it's a blogging platform
it's an infinitely customizable blogging
platform but it does have its own
drawbacks and we've experienced some
challenges with it recently and the
plug-in we were using that essentially
picked up our sales and unlocked content
and gave access to the WordPress pages
well it's imploded and a few months ago
both of our sites got hacked because of
a huge security breach with social
warfare plugins not to mention that
we've had several hacks over the years
within our WordPress site you see one of
the things that's going on with
WordPress is it's become a honey hole
there are so many people using it that
it becomes a pretty big target for
nefarious hackers right
also when the proverbial ish hits the
fan it's kind of you you could hire your
own developers which I have developers
on staff I have high-end developers that
I use on demand but it kind of all comes
down to you and that
situation and it was a perfect platform
for us to get momentum going in our
business 100% perfect platform because
it was inexpensive it led us got
momentum going we started this whole
business that's generated millions
online with ninety five dollars and
forty cents literally the cost of
website hosting and also a domain name
but now I'm really starting to value
simplicity so I want to share what I'm
using and why I've made the changes here
and I'm seeing people we've all over
from Seattle and California to Nigeria
Adelaide Australia sunny San Diego live
Rhett that is north Tijuana I hope
you're enjoying it good here you got
some sunshine super excited to have you
guys here so here's ultimately what the
changes have been the front end of the
funnel and the back end of the funnel
this is going to be most important for
you if you're selling digital downloads
if you're selling your own products if
you plan on selling your own product
products if you've got online courses
etc now beforehand I was using thrive
architect as the only front-end editor
and honestly it works pretty well right
to set up a landing page to set up an
opt-in page to set up sales page it's
really quite intuitive it's relatively
simple it's quite inexpensive so if
you're on a if you're on a bootstrap
budget my DIY sales funnel video series
with the architect update in video 1.5
still hyper relevant it's still a great
solution but here was my challenge right
the process of running split tests that
run through my shopping cart and out to
another kind of WordPress install
because my my deliveries lived on
installation a my actual front end lived
on delivery installation be the
communication was challenging meaning
thrive architect or thrive optimize
their AV split testing tool had a
difficult time picking up all of those
fires when the pixel fires so it also
was a little bit challenging for me to
get my ad developer my ad guy and my
copywriters inside of thrive architect
to set up split tests it is intuitive
enough for me I've built the skills in
architect to be able to modify it my
developer knows how to get in and do
anything on architect
he knows 10 times more than I do he's in
the Philippines he's like 6 bucks an
hour and he's amazing he's just amazing
what he does but I want my advertising
guy to be able to hop we talked on the
phone a lot he has a full-time job he
drives and we'll get on conversations
while he's driving I want him to be able
to get home and set up split tests and I
don't want him to have to ask for help
from anybody I don't want him to wait
for anybody I want him to be able to log
in to make two tweaks based on an idea
he has whether we had a conversation or
not I want him to test it I want him to
run 10 times more split tests than he's
running right now so I really needed to
get on to another platform that actually
makes split testing simple so this is my
first step away from architect and I've
gone on to leadpages and I was curious
about the different landing page
software's recently I did a big test
going through all the different landing
page software's clickfunnels on attempt
number one it actually gave us this
error message the whole screen went gray
and was a little message that was just
like you try back again and it was like
oh my god it's still buggy so that one
went out the window I tried a few others
and really truly leadpages is just
simple I was able to get in build a
landing page connected to my
autoresponder launch it out to the world
in about seven minutes and I value at
this point the ease of implementation
right simplicity is actually something
I'm beginning to value more and more so
I'm looking through my business because
I've good cash flow where can I increase
the simplicity and decrease the number
of moving parts where can I decrease the
complexity because a lot of times you
get WordPress themes that that add
plugins that add this and they add that
and it gets a little sketchy on there
and especially with that plug-in company
that theme company they're more
interested in building courses they're
not even building or working on their
themes right now which is just a little
bit sad to see so I've gone all in on
leadpages and I'm I'm kind of loving it
to be perfectly honest with you I've got
the base that I think it's the middle
package it's one that gives me the
ability to run AV split tests and this
is important I'm not using a wordpress
plug-in to bring in the content I'm
using their HTML I've actually uploaded
the dynamic HTML on to my website so now
I have a dynamic and HTML URL right is
my domain slash this page HTML that is
ultimately
where I will always be able to sender my
traffic guy will always be able to send
his Facebook advertising traffic too so
all the traffic goes there and he'll be
able to run as many split tests as he
want
it shows neat and tidy right there
inside what the split test data is we
simply let them know which page is the
kind of win on the or the the goal for
the split test and that's it it's all
right there on one dashboard it's super
neat and tidy super easy really gonna do
is dial in about three or four of our
key pages to get all of our traffic from
the paid side and he's gonna run test
after test after test the faster we can
iterate the faster we can run these
tests the better off we're gonna be once
we really identify those catchphrases
those headlines those hooks those leads
to really move our people to action
we're gonna filter those out through the
rest of our website right those are
gonna go into our pop-ups I'm not using
it for the pops I'm still using the
thrive leads pop-up I'm still running
our big organic WordPress I didn't gets
millions of millions of visits ear so
I'm not gonna move that it's still
running on thrive it's just these front
end landing pages that I'm driving my
paid traffic to is really where I'm
going triathlon dawn I'm actually gonna
answer that in the comment here video
Zeus says he loves the the leadpages
little quick story for you when I first
got into funnels it was 2013 I was in
Costa Rica and I got into a coaching
program it was a one-year coaching
program with Mike Dillard actually
called live free and prosper LF P he
doesn't offer it again anymore and the
whole idea was you need to have a self
liquidating offer you need to have an
opt-in with an offer that shows up after
it right so often in an OT oh and you
have to have that you need be able to
get break-even which means I spend a
hundred dollars on traffic and I get a
hundred dollars out on the back end not
a hundred fifty back I'm not profitable
on the back end it allows me to grow my
list cashflow positive and when he
recommended that he was his
recommendation was just to use leadpages
and I did and it worked and we literally
scaled our business that was when we
blew from the we were like six eight
grand and we just absolutely destroyed
the ten grand a month mark that was just
just full speed ahead to 20 30 grand a
month at that point through that system
but eventually I for some reason
migrated away from something that worked
too all on in on WordPress and it ended
up causing some challenges sorry I find
it interesting that I'm actually
back to the first funnel system I use
that worked really really well for us
and I'm really excited about this how
it's going Peter Holt says thrive themes
are still working on their new theme
builder it just takes time I totally
understand that but they also launched
an information product during this work
period for you so they in one sense
you're right they're working on it but
another sense they stopped working on it
to build an information product to
launch an info product that they tried
to get me to promote that I refuse to
promote because you're a theme company
do what you do like it was very I was
very awkward

but that's off topic now step 2
so they go into the opt-in page and then
they opt-in and then they see my
one-time offer that's all on leadpages
at this point we're finally up and
running on leadpages and it's launched
out to the world my facebook traffic is
now going there and the page looks the
exact same step two in that process is
Sam cart this is not a new one the same
cart is my shopping cart I am more in
love with Sam cart today than I ever
have been there they're releasing a new
drag and drop checkout page editor I
don't think anyone in the world has this
right now it is you literally can just
move anything you want around on your
checkout page which means you can run a
one page funnel you can actually kind of
edit and make your checkout page look
like an actual sales page which is
really powerful but I want again I want
all of my systems to be separated I
don't want to be in a system where
everything lives in one place and my
landing pages and my checkout pages and
my email list and my delivery pages are
all on the same system that means I'm
handcuffed to someone else's
intelligence or stupidity I'm handcuffed
to someone else's decisions and I want
to be able to replace these parts as
necessary I want as few moving parts as
possible but I need to be able to
replace them as necessary because people
who run other companies decide to do
things just like thrive themes decided
to go launch an information product
instead of finishing their new theme
system right that was just a decision
that they made at their headquarters
within their little circle and I need
the ability to replace them without
being all in on one platform
same with clickfunnels right when
clickfunnels stopped working and they
were literally giving away my products
for free to people who didn't pay
I needed to be able to replace them but
I couldn't replace that cart piece
because I had everything on that system
and that's a danger of being all in on
one so Sam cart to me is absolutely
brilliant in the middle there one page
funnel course and there one page funnel
product is absolutely insanely powerful
and that's still kind of what I've got
then on the delivery system again I was
using a wordpress plugin and I was
delivering all of the content purchased
on another WordPress website it was
actually a separate installation on the
same URL and that just kind of had some
challenges right it just WordPress is
grown to a point now where I don't think
it's the best learning management system
available there are plugins that allow
you to turn it into a learning
management system but you're always on
WordPress duct-taping different things
together so you need a membership plugin
that's gonna talk to the shopping cart
and then the membership plug-in needs to
talk to some sort of learning management
system and then you got to go from the
learning management system you gotta buy
another theme for the learning
management system and there's all these
layers of things that can go wrong I
decided to go with think if it and I
tested kajabi and when I say tested we
actually went into each of them we
signed up for accounts with each of them
and we built out products in each of
them so it was kajabi teachable and
think if it were the three that I was
focused on first and foremost they all
have free trials but kajabi is the most
difficult to deal with they want your
credit card first if you're gonna sign
up for a kajabi know that you should
sign up and then go in like you're gonna
cancel and they'll give you a better
deal
I hate when businesses do this they're
willing to give a better price to people
who are looking to walk away than they
are to me someone who's interested in
actually using their product I think
that's a slap in the face to their best
customers who want to run with them and
ultimately the process of canceling on
kajabi was incredibly difficult they
made you go through eight nine ten
different steps they made you go through
all these hoops they're trying to bill
you left and right whereas the other two
have actual not only free trials you can
build out free courses on both teachable
and think if ik so from a default
standpoint kajabi is gone was not even a
consideration the
we got in there it was just like this is
like if you're doing massive video
courses it's a maybe but honestly think
if it it completely crushed the others
but think if ik and teachable are the
two they're worthwhile so you can get in
and start building on both of them for
free which i think is great now -
there's two reasons why think if ik 1
over teachable because it was super
close those two they're extremely
similar number one was how it integrates
into Sam Kart I no longer need to use a
third party piece to communicate my
shopping cart with my product delivery
system now this is a small thing I
totally admit that this is a small thing
but it's one less moving piece and it's
2 less kind of connection points right
so going from 3 things there's two
connection points between these having
two things there's one connection point
it's literally 50% less connection
points which means there's just less
that can go wrong so think if ik
actually has an integration directly
into Sam cart so now when a customer
purchases on Sam cart it pushes their
information over to think if ik and they
get the welcome email they get the
password setup email to get access if
they refund and my support team just
clicks refund inside of Sam cart it just
removes them from the course inside of
think if ik and there's no third party
integration if I wanted to use teachable
I would have had to add on zapier or
zapier whatever the hell you call it and
I hate that tool I don't think it makes
any sense for me to have to pay a third
party intermediary company to get to
systems that should just talk to each
other to talk to each other
everything's built on api's if Xavier
can connect to that and that why the
hell can't my shopping cart connect to
that like it just makes no sense
whatsoever to me and I didn't again I
didn't want to be reliant on this zap
company would have been I think 150 to
200 dollars a month I think was 150
bucks a month I would have had to have
paid in zaps and it would have added a
minimum of a five-minute delay now I
can't I don't think it's just worth
anything in that situation unless you
had to and I know that you can do some
interesting things with zapier like I
could send certain slack notifications
on certain actions and there's there's a
time in a case for it but literally
connecting my product delivery system
and my shopping cart is not the right
use for that system I think the the
teams at those companies should be
working together more closely and you
know Sam cart runs something like a
million dollars a day in sales from its
customers so ultimately like they're a a
large connection point there are a very
intelligent integration for some of
these bigger learning management systems
so now I'm there now I am on this new
system and we are really truly starting
to scale up I've had to change some
links inside of my Facebook Ads which
means I started new Facebook ads which
means I'm gonna lose all my social proof
on the old ones and I'm okay with that
because we're just but we've built a
broader foundation we've built a
stronger foundation that has less moving
parts that has a way better delivery
system for my end users that was the
other thing between think if ik and
teachable it was one less click and you
might think this is kind of goofy and it
kind of is but it was one less click for
people to get to the actual price
actually was to less clicks on teachable
when someone purchased and you log in
for the first time because I ran test
purchases on everyone you had to click
one two three times okay so it was two
additional clicks you clicked on the
product then you had to click on the
lesson and then you had to click and
open the actual first thing on think if
ik it was one click and it was right
there that thing they purchased showed
up after just one click and it's
literally like a default within that
system of where it sends them to and
sending instead of sending them to like
another page that says oh here's your
courses go click on course ok you're in
the course click on lesson 1 like on
think if ik it just you just click on
the course and it takes you all the way
to the very first lesson immediately in
one click which means my users who you
know we sell to 40 50 60 plus year old
ladies we got some ladies in their 70s
and older on in our audience and the
less clicks the less tech the easier it
is the simpler it is and the more
beautiful and elegant it is that
actually is kind of a retention thing
because our customers are the most
important people in our world and we're
always thinking like what does this look
like from our customer ends no longer do
we have to worry about theme updates no
longer do we have to worry about plugins
going corrupt plug-in conflicts any of
that on our product delivery system I'm
in for it i'm rightfully gonna say it
right I'm paying for it every one of
these is a premium tool but at this
point my business I value that they each
have their own support teams at all the
different companies so if something goes
down some there's some problem somewhere
with the account levels I went to we
just get their kind of premium support
levels so that's kind of cool but
haven't had to talk to any of their
support the coolest part of all of this
was we were able to go from kind of
surveying the different tech pieces and
this is what I 100% recommend that you
do as well sign up for each and every
one that you're actually thinking about
don't try to make your decision based on
review based content that's just
affiliate marketers trying to sell you
right like go into them start to
use them work with them which one do you
like and which one do you like the end
user for that's what we were looking at
because my wife's gonna be spending a
lot of time in these it was like Melanie
which one felt easier to use kajabi was
the clunkiest
the kajabi felt like it had a lot more
customization that needed to be done it
felt the farthest away from being a
polished product with that said there's
probably infinite customization and
somebody smarter than I could and who
had more time and you know wanted to
spend 20 hours making it look beautiful
could probably do that but like
teachable and think if ik we had working
products in their systems within like 20
30 minutes from there we were splitting
hairs and really when I found that
direct integration with Sam cart it was
like okay this is a big deal for me in
my business because so right now we can
run four or five thousand transactions
in a month we can run for five thousand
transactions in a really good week right
and I'm looking at how do I blow through
this three million dollar a year mark to
the ten million dollar a year marks
that's really the next resistance you
know you go 1 million a year it's the
ones 3s in the tenth right so 1 million
a year to get over and through that is
pretty tough then your next resistance
point comes three million a year and
then your next resistance point comes 10
million a year you need different
systems and I'm building my business
right now in a way that we're just gonna
sail through the 3 million year mark on
our way up to ten million dollars per
year and like if you run the numbers on
10 million a year that's eight hundred
and thirty three thousand three hundred
thirty three dollars per month and we we
broke that down to something like five
or six hundred transactions a day that
we have to have oh my gosh five or six
in our transactions at day
so I need my systems I'm literally
laying foundation to be able to run that
level of transaction volume through my
systems and I the less moving parts
right
xaviar freaks out for two hours and
that's what 120 transactions or 80
transactions that just freak out and my
support inbox just goes berserk right so
these are the kinds of thought processes
I've used what's easiest for my wife
who's one using it what's easiest for my
tech guy or my excuse my ADD guy because
he's gonna be the one who's inside of
leadpages using it so what's easiest for
us on our end and then what's gonna
create that that result for our end
users that's gonna be great and then
what systems gonna be able to handle a
scale worthy amount of volume because I
can buy enough traffic to generate
hundreds of sales per day from Facebook
my copywriting is not that good yet
right I haven't dialed that side of it
in but technically speaking the
potential is there I just need to keep
dialing the other pieces and if I didn't
have that route right foundation the
copywriting doesn't matter because any
time we hit scale and hits three four or
five hundred transactions from
Facebook's blasting us out in a couple
of hours if one thing goes bad it goes
bad I was when I used to enjoy having a
beer time from time to time I went to
the Deschutes brewing brewery and Bend
Oregon and I toured their brewery and
that bottling line bottles labels
packages 300 and something bottles of
beer per minute
it was insane to see I mean it's things
spinning and filling and moving and
packaging and dropped and suit and then
pallets are getting wrapped up and I
asked the person doing the tour I was
like what happens when one thing goes
wrong and she was like oh dude it is
glass everywhere beer flying on the
floors it is absolute chaos and I think
of these kinds of logistical challenges
that engineers just really pour
themselves over in terms of my digital
business right like if we're running
thousands of transactions every 40 like
a thousand transactions every 30 hours
or 40 hours right 2,500 transactions
every two days or something crazy like
that it doesn't take much to glitch up
the gears to fill up an inbox for my
support people with 300
400 tickets of people who didn't get
what they purchased and that leads a
sour taste in hundreds of people's
mouths before we even realized what's
going on
so I'm planning now with that vision of
really truly just exploding through that
three million dollar a year mark up to
that ten million dollar a year mark
building new affiliate relationships
with people who have lists in the size
of millions right I'm brokering a deal
with one list they have three million
subscribers another guy just is amazing
he's starting to run traffic for us and
he just runs out like so much traffic
it's insane plus I've got my Facebook
Ads guy plus I've got all my organic
stuff so we wanted to beef things up we
wanted a more stable foundation and that
is where we went so what I'm gonna go do
is look on the right stringer bell's you
are trippin if you think that that
system you talked about could actually
do what what you think it can at the
level I'm playing good good idea but
that's not exactly it's not exactly true
we got some love for Bend Oregon in here
I think that's cool
Orlando I'm fairly tech savvy but I've
never been challenged by thank if ik
I've always found it simple recommend it
for your wife who was in tech savvy at
all 100% Paul like that's it and
eventually so I guess one step beyond
this Paul is like eventually I don't
want my wife in there at all right I
want to hand this off to teammates I
want them I want us to say here's the
image here's the text here's the audio
file go make it work and if that
requires anything in HTML a lot of
WordPress you got to flip over to the
HTML still it's it's you know it anytime
you have to get into WordPress there's
there's an opportunity for things to go
wrong
unfortunately so yeah the think--if ik
is just it's super easy I've met Rob and
Patti I've been on their podcast we
actually did a brilliant podcast
together if you search on the thinking
fat podcast search for my name on there
we did a brilliant one there and it's
it's pretty powerful for that Fran McKay
I came in a few minutes late are you
saying that you recommend using think if
ik instead of thrive themes for online
courses at this point I have made that
decision yes I've moved over to a
dedicated learning management system
I tested learn - I've been using and
testing the apprentice feature for a
while and they've made some changes of
that that just
just they they eliminated all of my mp3
files once I've got 350 pages of
delivery content so when they made a
change once all my mp3 files disappeared
I had to go recode them and manually
each one and there's these types of
things that are just frustrating
challenges that work with the Thrive so
yeah I have moved all of my delivery not
all of it about 25 percent is off now
all of our new stuff that's coming out
is off and in my team my virtual
assistant is migrating the rest of our
content over there right now and is
working Wonderful's multi bonanza I
don't know what that is I've never heard
of it
think if occur teachable Orlando that
met is the question I think they're both
great I have a homegirl in Sedona she's
using teachable it's great like it
teachable literally they were it was
neck-and-neck I really think that
integration directly into my shopping
cart was the one that put me over the
edge for her think if ik and then
realizing that it was one click to
access their mp3 file instead of three
clicks or two clicks to access their mp3
file that little tiny bit of faster
access to what they purchased just made
sense learn - does all this so learn -
to me was I don't know I didn't I didn't
stick around for their 3.0 but at miles
back home courses I did I actually sort
of setting up a learn - I do not like
that system they have top nav and left
nav right now but all kinds like I would
have had to have paid and I did actually
I had my developer guy go in to learn -
and just so then I put the buddy boss
theme on learn - social learner theme
right so I had to buy an extra theme and
then I'd have my developer go in and
customize the theme because it was ugly
out of box right they're trying to
just do so much forums there's this and
so he had to just keep customizing it
keep customizing it and when I build
things now I think that you guys and I'm
like I just paid my developer like you
know 20 30 hours of coding to make this
thing look decent and I don't love it
like I could never recommend that
because you probably don't have the
ability the funds or the person on your
team I he's full-time for me to do that
on your own so that's the other side of
what I'm thinking when I'm when I'm
building things now I think like
simplicity could me Mom do it could you
do it right like like could anyone do it
could your significant other or your
spouse or your friend do it as well be
I think that we have more and more
people coming to the world of internet
marketing
who know that they can share about
fountain pens they can share their
calligraphy trainings they can share
their how to grow tomatoes courses they
can share their knowledge and they want
to become knowledge brokers they want to
get into the knowledge economy
simplicity is key right and if
everything is wordpress and plugins and
add-ons and tech and hire developer and
bar owner it's just at it just moves
that barrier entry so high it makes it
really really challenging thrive card so
Michael Cole's I run five card on two
websites and I have to say thrive card
is not better than Sam cart so you can't
customize the cart period you cannot
customize the front end of that shopping
cart at all I can run split tests I can
completely customize mine I go to sales
letter on top of mine I can do a full
size sales video on top of mine with Sam
cart they are absolutely not even close
to being on the same playing field right
you're talking major league which is Sam
cart versus minor league which is thrive
card it's great to honor that for some
people a one price fee cart makes sense
right I use it for my membership site
it's the ugliest cart I've got but it
works it's simple it integrates pretty
well in that sense it works but it's
it's never going to be a big business
beautiful shopping cart set that real
businesses are gonna use and that's okay
right it's a great stepping stone option
and for some businesses it can be a good
long-term option if you're not wanting
to scale to the mass-market but that's
kind of where we're going at this point
in time so yeah I think WordPress is
still valid on the front end like for
blogging for content marketing for
driving traffic nothing is better than
WordPress in my personal opinion
with that said like I don't want it to
run my entire business anymore I don't
want my shopping cart to be on it I
don't want my plug-in to who gets access
to what to have to be installed on it
I'm trying to actively eliminate as many
plugins as I can from my WordPress site
at all times because it just minimizes
the number of potential back doors and
entrance points and SQL injections and
all that nasty stuff we have to deal
with cool I've got a few questions here
I've got a little bit of time to jump
into a few of these 92 people on and 11
people have liked
it as far as a ratio what are you guys
doing just hanging out come on now
anyways so what are my thoughts on
clickfunnels for list building a
membership site so clickfunnels I would
just say watch my clickfunnels review
they were giving members access to my
content for free I actually flew to San
Diego when they had their support team
there at their clickfunnels live i sat
down with their support team to show
them the problem and they were like oh
yeah that's a huge glitch and they never
fixed it like they just never fixed it
so I had ten thousand dollars of free
content given to other people who their
payments failed and they just kept
getting access to my stuff so that was
when I left because it hit me in the
pocketbook and the bugs and the the the
resetting and it wouldn't it wouldn't
save our sales pages after half hour of
work those things frustrated me but when
it was when I was losing money from it
that was the moment I was I was done
cool so um rag the nuts off man you've
been on all of these and I love it so
question is interesting listening what
do I feel will be my biggest barrier as
I go from 3 million to 10 million staff
team people 100 percent undoubtedly
hiring is the most difficult part of
this game finding the right people
finding the people who can show up
finding the right jobs that need out
some hands sometimes I just think this
has to get out sorted we get it going
all sudden it's like I don't like the
way they're done like maybe they should
do this and like it really is team right
I think going from a seven-figure your
business to an eight-figure your
business is all about having the right
people
a players absolutely a players who have
proven to get a result the the tech
systems are really there's a lot of
durable systems right for you know so my
email my web server all of the tech I'm
probably $2,000 a month roughly give or
take for how much volume I mean we just
get hundreds and hundreds of thousands
of visits and stuff so I have to be on
teachable or think if its highest
program that's like a $500 a month
program because we have 17,000 customers
I'm importing right now so like the tech
is actually not the sticking point I
really think it's the people and
specifically it's like how do I find
people who can move projects forward on
their own why Melanie and I continue to
work on hi
and higher level stuff right so I'm
still in my forums every day answering
really basic questions and some people
are using my forums as a way to just
like miles is now Google like how what
is the best thing for this and it's like
I can answer those and I do and I've
committed to it but that is keeping me
from doing something that's way higher
level in the world right and impacting
more and more people these videos you
know like so I'm doing this one live
because it took less time but I'm
staying on with you live longer right so
I record a video I then have to edit the
video I then have to upload the video I
then run the transcription the video to
get the closed captions in I have to
type out of the script like all these
things technically theoretically could
be done by someone else right I don't
know who that is and I'm so my my
publishing schedule is so short like I'm
like ah it's Monday morning I got
it I gotta do a video all right like so
I'm not a head enough to really have a
teammate in there so it's kind of I
guess people and systems people and
processes is what I would say because
people in isolation don't do anything
right people need to plug into processes
so it's like it's processed sizing I
made that up and I loved it I'm sticking
with its process at I see what we're
already doing and then it's me doing my
early enough right three days in
advance so I could hand it to somebody
cuz employees they take like days off
a day off do diamond I don't do
day offs oh I'm on vacation for five
days really you do that like oh you
clearly don't want you know but that's
okay that's I'm on the trajectory of
what I'm at for the business I'm trying
to grow I'm growing a $10,000,000 your
business and this is just how it works
to do such a level of thing but you know
it's then dealing with that employee
mindset as well it's people and
processes is the answer on that it's
challenging um cool so yeah learn - was
not fun highly recommended by my
integration guy he's worked with it with
some other people I thought it was ugly
I thought it was very bulky and clunky
to use not something Melanie could jump
in and make look good on her own period
that is a sentence that is a complete
sentence with a full stop I believe some
of my friends across the oceans would
say impossible it was just out of box
it's ugly as and then you're just like
you have to custom
- and like I needed something that could
be plugged in Melanie could run and then
eventually an assistant could run and
that was what I went with here how many
episodes should a podcast have one more
today than it did yesterday - do each a
so yeah so Anthony clear um says I hope
click follow supports their support and
tech issues you know other marketers
complain about their support and their
email responder so I have one of their
support people in my membership program
who's trying to build a business so he
can escape their support and he has
confided in me some insider information
about how little they care about support
about how over run support is about how
low the esteem is in that department
they are a growth at all costs we will
churn out most people see 90% of people
who buy something don't use it but of
that 90 percent of people who buy it
don't use it over 50% won't cancel it
they'll keep it on that's that's who
they're selling to right they have
affiliates are paying 40% they're just
getting a bunch of people who don't use
it they've got a few case studies 100 or
200 people who are 2 comma Club members
I'm a two comma Club member myself and
just made it up made my own damn one
right like did it on my own I don't need
to use their system to be in that Club I
already done did it twice over so there
that that's kind of how that business
works and they understand that a churn
rate that they're gonna have X number of
support issues they're gonna have X
number of extremely frustrated people
because the software is buggy and those
people are gonna cancel but there's
enough people sticking with it long term
that that churn out is small and the
monthly growth is still in the right
direction so they don't have to fix the
problems they just tried to do the warm
bodies thing they get more people to
answer the phones but they're not fixing
the actual problems is kind of what I
sound sound like this my house is now
Google hell yeah that's not a cool thing
that's a problem that smiles his wrists
need a break I actually logged it I did
try Cara and it was an absolutely not so
the owners of Cara if you look at what
they're doing they've already split Andy
Jenkins went off to build something else
those dudes like building things but
they don't like really creating business
systems around what they build they they
seem to have a mo of always being on to
that next thing which is clearly
they're doing because I think Andy
Jenkins already broke off and is making
another cart system to rival car truck
right it was the two of them or it was
the other guy because there's a two of
them Frank Kern was in for a bit now
he's out of it and like I let that
outsource the Philippines for low-level
stuff like okay you know I teach that
I've got full-time step several staff
members I got a half an office out there
you're new to the term funnel you're an
author wanting to drive traffic to your
website funnels a series of steps look
at my videos just just search my videos
for what is a marketing funnel you'll
find it leanness with the tasks system
and the level of consumption necessary
would you say the program is worth it
consuming to save time overall I mean if
you don't have a step-by-step path that
you're following yes if you already know
what you need to do know do what you
need to do right like it ain't crazy
complex but if you need a roadmap to
follow that's a roadmap right and then
get in find out what that next step is
go grind it out and get that done which
software do I use record my screen so I
use screencast-o-matic for mine and then
that's it so is think if ik a member
mouse replacement we are currently on
member of miles so yeah
member mouse is one I considered so
think if ik would be like the delivery
and then Sam cart right so it's actually
Sam cart and think if ik or the member
mouse and if you look at the prices of
those two versus member mouse you can
see there's a drastically different and
more more cost in the route I went but
it's it's simpler and it's a little bit
more elegant
yeah cart row is not something I would
ever go in on yeah I I totally agree
with you I Darius the he says don't
forget that most of the common to comma
Club guys sell the system but move their
customer base over to personal brand
that's outside of clickfunnels like
Infusionsoft and totally I know I mean
max Finn has to two comma clubs on his
most recent launch do you think he use
the click funnels as their shopping cart
nope he's pay kick start so we only used
click funnels for the sales page because
he knows how to build sales page on it
then you use pay kick-start for the
transaction and then he used
ethic first product delivery system so
and he's a two-time or a three-time -
comma Club winner and he's one of the
guys they dragged him around stage and
yeah he doesn't even use their full
software system at this point
Mike feel same is doing another thing
for funnels that's when I was talking
about product for 200 bucks he found a
cart right you're right Anthony so that
was it it was Annie Jenkins and Michael
same and now Michael same has a product
and in it Andy Jenkins doesn't seem to
be behind Carter at all it's there's too
much going on in the cart trail I
actually signed up for I have an account
there there's they're trying to do too
much and and that's the thing I really
do like the three separate pieces so I
could interchange any one of them and I
kind of observed Maxwell Finn doing that
on his most recent launch and I was
talking with him a little bit and his
team about that and it's the ability to
replace any one of those pieces that
goes out without being all-in on any one
of them that security is is really truly
work working for me that's it cool I'm
gonna call it you guys I hope you
enjoyed this I hope the stream came
through smoothly give it a thumbs up if

I'm using their new what was this called
camera I think it's called so I hope it
streams smoothly because some of the old
streams on the other hangouts were kind
of ugly they were glitchy so I'll watch

the idea of almost like a talk show like

new system called camera because the old

maybe I should just use the new one from

doing if you're just getting started
right so you know I'm at that
seven-figure a year mark I've got a
million dollar a year business and I'm
working to grow it to like three and ten
million dollars if you're starting don't
feel like you need to go spend five
hundred hours in tech get on WordPress
go with my DIY sales funnel video series
and follow that and do that and build
the traffic my wife's website has now
connected with thirty three million
people I want to say that again my
wife's website wordpress blog has
connected with thirty three million
people if you were getting I don't know
a half a percent a percent of those
people to take some sort of action do
you think you would have a big list and
big budgets and good income coming in I
can tell you the answer is yes you would
right because that's that's what we've
got going on so I'm at this phase in my
business going to the next level and I
know I got some viewers on this channel
who make a hundred thousand dollars a
month and more right there in this
league that I'm in then there's a lot of
people getting started and I want to be
helpful for you too which I do still
think WordPress is a great solution I
think thrive cart is a great solution
for people but it's not the solution to
get to ten million dollars a year it's
that solution to get to ten grand a
month twenty random on fifty grand a
month and I want to help you on that
which is why I've got the other content
on this channel I think it's powerful so
oh gosh Frau run away from that I even
have to deliver that from here or delete
that from here so cool oh why fees on
here why because it looks good yeah
