guys my name is Alex and welcome to my

blogging journey that I'm going to be

major thing that I'm focused right now
on is link building because backlinks is
still a major factor that defines your
success when it comes to ranking in
Google and I was busy doing backlink
building and this video is going to be
exactly about link building strategy
what I'm doing how I'm approaching link
building process and how I'm doing it
white hat 100% legit in compliance with
Google policies in a moment we'll jump
to my laptop and I will show you some of
the information like the statistics of
my traffic at this moment so far since
the beginning of the of this year to my
blog I will also show you a part of my
link building strategy how it looks from
the inside but before that if you want

strategy of a beginner so I will
eventually will cover the expenses as
well at this moment it's not
not much maybe I will cover in the next
video how much money I've spent so far
so the link building strategy what kind
of link building strategy I'm following
first of all I want to cover for those
of you who don't know what is link
building is basically when somebody else
other websites are linking to your
website to your blog this indicates to
Google and other search engines
indicates that your website is good
enough for other websites to link to and
that your website deserve higher ranking
in search engine results so the more
reputable websites top a linking to your
website and the more websites in terms
of quantity as well are linking to your
website the higher ranks your website
will yet in Google search results but
buying these kind of links is against
Google policy that's why I don't want to
wire links and I'm trying to build links
based on the quality of my content so at
this moment I have 10 articles 10
articles all my websites in total and 8
of these articles are money articles
kind of like top 5 top 10 products of
certain category or the what is the best
XYZ product and so on so forth so those
8 articles are 100 money articles that's
like with affiliate links that I'm
planning to rank and get money from but
two of the articles that are published
on my website are informational kind of
skyscraper kind of posts they are pretty
long they are around 4,000 was each it's
not too long for skyscraper but I
analyzed the top 10 results and 4,000
was for these kind of articles is top
level so what I did next after I wrote
these articles I found the rest of the
articles on a similar topic I saved
those articles into a separate sheet
then I
took those articles that pretty much are
competing to my articles oh I'm
competing with them because they are
ranking in Google already and I'm not I
took those articles and I collected all
the websites that were linking to those
articles and I collected them and
exported to a separate sheet as well the
next step was collecting emails contact
details of the owners of the websites
that are linking to those my competitors
and the final step was contacting those
website owners and asking them to check
out my article and link to my article as
well since my article is of high quality
and arguably better than the Articles
that they are already linking to and
they might want to consider linking to
my article instead or in addition to the
Articles that they are linking to
already now let's jump to my laptop and
I will show you a little bit of the
inside of the way that I'm doing so here
you can see the total traffic of my
website until 29th of March and as you
can see I don't get any traffic at all
the visitors that are coming as some of
them came from social media from
Facebook and Instagram I think and the
rest of the people are coming when they
are checking out my website you know the
like in terms of my link building
strategy and that's it so as you can see
I don't get any traffic to my website
I'm not going to go below here because I
don't want to reveal some of the web
sites that are already linking to my
website because they will kind of reveal
my niche which I don't want to happen so
the next thing that I wanted to show you
is link building strategy I'm not going
to go into details right here either
because it will reveal the topics of my
article as well which will reveal the
niche you can see right here that
interval
I have 374 recipients so 300 hundred
seventy-four emails of potential people
of potential websites that can link back
to my website obviously the conversion
rate is really really low so far I sent
emails to 229 people out of 374 and I
got 50 of them opened my emails sent 17
bounces and nine replies so it's not
that a lot and obviously out of them
many of them are not even kind of like
directly relevant but the majority of
them were asking for money and the
curious thing was that even shitty
websites like with the pretty low
quality of web sites and quite new
websites as well with low domain score
they were offering a back thing for like
50 bucks which is not a worth it at all
and for me is quite ridiculous to be
honest but obviously there's a really
high competition of the guys like me who
are asking to link back to their content
this strategy that I'm following I
actually learned in LA is called shotgun
skyscraper strategy and I learnt it from
the guys from the authority side system

so as you can see the process is moving
forward and what I plan to do next next
