in this video I've got a fix for the
flat 'some theme image size problem
been an ongoing problem and it's been a
right pain and we haven't better fix it
but now I've got a solution so I saw the
tape
[Music]
hello it's Alex here from WP eagle
thanks for watching so yeah as I said
I've found a fix for the flat 'some
image size problem which if you're aware
of it if you're running flatten theme we
have wasone and Amazon remote images
basically happening is the images aren't
appearing the right size and yeah a lot
of people had this problem and hopefully
I've got a fix it's going to work for
you so let's get on a computer and I'll
show you what it is ok so over at my
test site which is running in flats them
and the latest version of wasone as you
can see these images are not the right
shape and size wow that's pretty the
right shape but that's not the right
size they're all different so it means
on a catcher page like this or on your
main shop page it can look a little bit
messy when they're all different heights
so we're going to add some CSS now to
Flatts them and what we're going to do
is just simply copy and paste the code
in and that's going to just the size of
these images one thing I will say is
that it may crop the image slightly so
you might lose the bottom of the image
or whatever depending on on the shape
and size of it but then that's such a
big problem because of see when you
click through to the product you will
then see the full size image so the code
is this here which I put my notes just
this little bitty I'm going to copy that
and so you can find this bit of code on
WP Eagle to come on the relevant post
I'll put a link in the description and
within this video somewhere I'm sure
you'll see it now these numbers within
the code to 250 or 320 you can adjust
these as you like so that it you know
just looks good for you however you like
it I prepare round and these numbers
seem to be pretty good and but let's
have a look so I'm going to go on to the
dashboard I just need to log in and then
we're going to go into flat zoom up here
and then we're going to go into advanced
and custom CSS ok then in the top here
we've got this all screens box I'm just
going to paste that in like that and go
Save Changes
ok that's saved so let's go back and
have a look and then if you refresh
there we go our images are the same size
now so there we go all done doesn't need
any regeneration of thumbnails or any of
that sort of stuff it should just work
spread away I hope this will fix your
problem if you're running a different
theme you're particularly need different
CSS I'm going to be doing a brand new
affiliate Amazon affiliate website
tutorial a full-length one featuring
kingdom again but just the latest
version and later version of wasone to
check that out and I've also got another
one in pipeline using a completely
different theme so again they should all
be out within the next month or two
hopefully even quicker ending on how
quickly I can get them all recorded and
edited so any questions please leave
them below or get in touch by the usual
methods but until next time it's bad for
now
