in this video I want to briefly talk
about images now images are essential
when you're creating content online blog
posts articles that kind of thing they
alive and you know bill just I want to
look at pages from the bore and i'll
text you need some images in there to
brighten everything up but the question
always is where do you get these images
from now I work with a number of clients
and some like to use free images you
know just searching around on google
those others you know invest in some
decent stock images from you know
certain stock photography website now I
would recommend that you always pay for
your images and do use the stock type
company i recommend and i use personally
photo june and i'll put a link up on the
screen is an affiliate link by the way
so if you do buy any images i will get a
very very tiny commission but that's not
the reason why I'm recommending it i'm
recommending it because it's really good
and i use it all the time okay so why
would i recommend using pre marriages
when there's those are free images out
there you know you can go on google
images type something in and you'll find
a whole host of images got three good
reasons i'm going to take you through
them right now so reason one is
basically they're just a time factor
that comes into it when you search for
images on google and on free sites it
can take ages to find something that's
worth actually using because a lot of
them are very poor quality and quite
random so you know if your time is
precious which it probably should be and
it probably is and you know in business
time is money is what they say yo she's
just wasting money as well as time by
spending an hour or so looking for some
free images so you might as well just
cut out the time wasting and go to a
premium stock photography website like
photodune do a quick search and you're
more likely to find what you're looking
for much quicker my second point is to
do with right now when you search stuff
on google and you see a nice image that
you like and you put it onto your
website you've got to be very careful
that you are able to use that it and it
is free for commercial use for example a
lot of images that Google finds aren't
so if you do use an image that doesn't
have the correct rights attached to it
you could end up
in trouble and if past experience this
is talking from past experience that has
happened to me and you'll get scary
letters from companies and their lawyers
threatening you with legal action if you
don't sort it out so again it's not
worth that stress my third point is
Regis down to quality the quality of the
images on stock photography type sites a
generally much higher in terms of the
images are better you can get them in
nice big resolutions so you can you know
do some nice stuff for them and they
look really good on high-resolution
screens dime the free images you know
you're not sure the resolution this
sometimes quite small so when you use
them on your website they can look a
little bit blurry or chunky or whatever
so I love to see the better quality
image and a good quality piece of
content means that you know you're going
to get more shares more visits more
reads all that kind of stuff which in
turn should bring you more traffic and
maybe even more money on the way so it's
not really worth messing around with
free images in my opinion for those free
reasons I hope you found this brief
