this video I want to talk about how
Facebook Ads work and why you might be
failing at them right now
okay so Facebook Ads
I guess you haven't really seen them
they're on all of your newsfeed on
Facebook but it's a great way to you
advertise your business and it's a great
way to pick up sales leads whatever
you're looking for okay now I want to
just want to go over some things about
how they're structured and why if you're
using them right now why you might be
failing at them but before we do that
hit subscribe button below that way and
hippy also hit the the bell that way you
get all the videos you get get alerts
from all the videos that come out okay
so at Facebook Ads
the if you don't understand what you can
understand the pixel that facebook gives
out to people people put this pixel on
to their their pages okay to to their
Thank You pages they're their conversion
pages all this pixel is what is
gathering data for facebook okay so
Facebook has huge amounts of data on a
lot of different things that people do
with Facebook and where they go even
after Facebook so when somebody clicks
on a link and they go to a page that's
not on Facebook they still have data
from that because the pixel is on so
many different pages out there so for
example if somebody goes and clicks on a
link and an ad they go to an opt-in form
they put in their name and email address
and then it goes to the Thank You page
the Thank You page is essentially going
to have a pixel on it and that will
count as a lead through to Facebook
because somebody will set that up as a
as a lead so Facebook galleries all this
data people that like pages people that
you know that comments on different
posts okay people that engage with
videos people that actually click the
link go and opt-in the forum people that
actually click the link go and buy a
product okay so that's there's all kinds
of different stuff that that they're
collecting okay this is huge databases
of information the great thing with
Facebook is they will allow you to
target those specific areas that people
are working on so your ultimate goal as
a business owner you your ultimate goal
should be getting a sale okay getting a
conversion that should be your end goal
I mean you know there's all kinds of
different things that you know these
gurus tell you get likes and comments
and videos views and all this the end
goal is to get a sale that's it if
you're not getting these sales you know
make any money and you're not gonna be
able to continue to buy more advertising
okay that's the bottom line that should
be your end goal so when you set up your
ad okay and you set up your ad and
there's a couple different areas that
you could set up an ad you can do clicks
you can do likes you can do videos views
I mean Facebook they're here to make
money and they'll give you anything you
want okay so if you want to target
people that that like fan pages you can
do that okay if you'd like if you want
to target people that that are highly
engaged in watching videos you can do
that if you want to target people that
are highly engaging and actually
clicking and putting their email address
in for opt-in you can do that so for me
when I set up Facebook Ads okay my
ultimate goal is this I want to get a
conversion for a set up that's it okay
and Facebook has tons of data on that
and they'll actually put your ad in
front of the people that are more likely
to click on your ad and go and buy a
product so for example somebody went and
bought a product that's similar to your
product okay dog data on that person
they'll show your ad to that person and
and to me I would rather get in front of
buyers people that are interested in my
products then actually get some of
people that are you know want a like
thing it want to like a page or comment
here's the thing you know people come to
me they say well let me I want to do
like campaign and I'm thinking why do
you want to do a lot of campaign I mean
these Facebook at 4 Facebook pages right
now what you're going to be doing is
you're getting likes on a page okay on
your fan page okay but the thing is your
fan page when you post on that okay it
isn't a theory I think what people are
doing there's thinking if I get a bunch
of likes I'll grow my fan page and I'll
be able to market to my fan page but the
thing is is Facebook they only show your
all of your posts on your foot on your
fan page - like 6% of your audience it
used to be a hundred percent so you
could have a big fan page and you could
promote your product and a high percent
of your fans would see your your post
but now only six percent that basically
said hey if you want to reach your full
fans you're gonna have to pay for it so
when you set up a campaign for Facebook
ads if you do a light campaign all
you're really doing is you're just
wasted a bunch of money because you're
putting it into your fan base that
really isn't going to be able to see
your you know see your content when you
put it out there same thing was like
videos I mean people that are sit there
and watch videos all day long they may
not be buyers of your products but yeah
they might be great video people they
might love videos so if you go off and
you do a campaign for just videos then
you know you're going to be putting the
kind of money into getting data for
people that like your video but they're
not necessarily going to be wanting to
buy your products even with leads I mean
leads are great they get onto your email
list and you're able to follow up with
them which I highly recommend you doing
but still they may not be buyers so when
you set up a Facebook ad here's what I'd
like for you to do is set up a
conversion ad okay set up conversion ad
and set it up to get the pixel on the
purchase okay now there might be some
people out there that say get it on like
you know just you know get it early
pixel like maybe somebody that's
interacting with your pixel or some of
its interacting with the lead or
somebody's interacting with a conversion
why not just go for what Facebook has I
mean they have a data people that buy
your products or byproducts in general
target those people target the buyers
target the people that purchase target
the people that pull out their credit
card target the people that want
products target people that buy products
over and over again that's who you want
to get that's who you want to get in
front of so set up a conversion campaign
okay so I'll set up a conversion
campaign and then when you do that
they're going to give you options
they're going to give you a view you
know like view content or lead what you
want is a purchase okay so it's going to
be drop-down
you say people that have purchased in
the past that's who I want to convert
okay now you're going to pay for this
okay but the thing the cool the great
thing about this is if you have a great
funnel okay and you go to and you're
somebody clicks on your link and goes to
your product page and you know you
convert really well then you get the
conversion and when you do that then
face looks really going to reward you
with low clicks so as soon as people go
to your click they click on the
conversion over a certain period of time
they're going to start giving you lower
lower clicks but when you first start
out they're going to charge you a ton of
money maybe we're talking maybe two
three dollars per click or even per
conversion on the back end because
Facebook doesn't really know your data
yet okay soon as they figure out your
data they can match up your you know
your funnel with the people that have
purchased in the past and when they do
that then you know you'll start to get
less and less clicks so over time you're
going to start off with very high clicks
and then you'll eventually start to get
lower and lower lower clicks so what I
recommend people is doing is you put up
the Facebook ad and don't touch it for
at least three days now you might you
know you can do it for five dollars we
don't think you have to be like do a
hundred dollars a day just do it for
five dollars maybe ten dollars but zero
for like ten dollars over three days
that's thirty dollars of data that you
give to Facebook after three days now
what if the conversions start to get
lower and lower you're paying less and
you're starting to make more money then
obviously keep it okay keep the ad going
and then what you can do is you need to
do one target okay so you only do one
target and then what if that one target
working go and set up a duplicate
campaign for another target and you keep
multiplying these campaigns for
different targets don't you know don't
do like a million people altogether
because you don't know which ones are
working example if you're going to
target in the self-development you got
Tony Robbins you got Robert Kiyosaki you
got John Maxwell there's some of the
other greats out there
Jim Jim Rohn so it wouldn't make sense
to target all those guys okay it would
make sense to target 20 robins on one ad
campaign for sales then it would make
sense to set up a another duplicate
campaign for Jim Nome and try to see if
you can get better conversions with that
you set up individual campaigns
once one is working then duplicate that
and set up another one but when you do
this always do conversions to purchase
it just makes sense because that's what
you want to do that's your ultimate goal
I wouldn't I don't recommend people
wasting their money on collects or
videos or or any of that stuff there is
no strategy behind it all you're doing
is just throwing money at something that
you that you know that is not going to
work for you I mean I'm not into
spending a bunch of money to get a bunch
of data I'm into spending money getting
the conversion so I can take that money
reinvest it back into my ads and
continue that slow going okay so that is
going to help you with your Facebook
