How to Add Icons to a Wordpress Menu #Best Education Page #Online Earning

hello it's Alex here from WP eagle calm

and this video very quick video we're

gonna be adding some icons to our menu

on WordPress and so the menu is often

the navigation you get across the top or

sometimes down the side of your website

in this case it's down the side and let

me show you the website look here now

this is a website that my mother created

she watched one of my videos on YouTube

and I went ahead building a website for

her local village hall and here it is I

what I'm gonna just use this as a kind

of test site just for now just because I

can't actually log into my demo website

I lost the password it's not resetting

but hey that's not your problem I will

swap that out for the next video but for

now we'll just add some icons to the

menu so by adding icons to menu you'll

see it just makes it look a bit more

interesting and you know that's that's

all there is to it really we're gonna be

using a plugin so what you need to do is

obviously log in to your website and

then go into plugins and then add me now

this plug-in it's really good because it

basically comes with all the icons that

you need I think you can add extras if

you need them but it's got a good good

selection to start with so it's just

cool menu icons I'm just gonna click

install now and it's installing it and

then I'm gonna click activate and then

all you need to do is obviously going to

your menu so that's appearance menus and

you've got you and you here and then you

can start add some icons so you see

there's a new little option here called

icon if I click select so that's time

base I could just select the home this

is a contact page so we'll ever like a

little phone or something contact

related you can also do searches and it

pulls icons in from all these different

sources in loose if font awesome that's

not there let's try a phone I bet that

later found

Boop about we'll have like an info sign

I liked all these because yet I think

you get the idea so I've added free icon

so once they're done just click Save

menu as you normally would

then if we go back to the the website

let's go visit site

there's our icon started to come through

so they're looking really nice I think

they just kind of set the website off a

little bit more than just having text so

there we go short and sweet video that

one just get that plug-in install it and

you can easily add some icons to your

menu I thought that would be useful for
