How to add an image to a sidebar in #Best Education Page #Online Earning

hello Alex here from WP Eagle calm this

is just a quick little video on how to

add an image to your WordPress sidebar

now this work should work on most themes

the sidebar is the bit down the side of

a normal page so if we have a look now

I'm on the wp Eagle demo test site at WP

equal demo calm and you can see on this

page we got the magnet content here then

over here we got the sidebar and that's

where i'm going to add an image now

there's a few ways you can do this you

can install the plug-in which will allow

you to add images but I'm going to show

you how to do it without using a plug-in

and just kind of using it using

WordPress as it comes unfortunately as

it comes WordPress doesn't have a widget

for an image but you can use the text

image sort of the text widget which is

what we're going to do and I find the

easiest way to do that it's actually

just create a new post we're not

actually gonna publish this post it's

just a little kind of play around posts

so that we can get there bit of code we

need and do what you got to do in here

so you know using the text editor all

the visual editor I always use the text

editor and you are going to need to text

articles you need to copy and paste the

code so let's list it with text editor

so click Add media and you can pick an

image up there if you've already gone

i'm going to upload one from the

computer I've got this this image here

that looks fine so just uploading that

are then you can settle this stuff here

I'm going to align it center i'm going

to link it through to the image for now

but you can obviously add a link there

if you want or no link at all just put

it through to the media file the size

i'm going to go full size and then i'm

going to insert into post what it's done

is it's inserted that bit of code into

this post here now as I said we're not

going to actually use the space that

this paste this post what we're going to

do is we're going to copy and paste this

code so I'm just going to highlight all

of it and then I'm going to copy it so

you can right click and select a copy

and then we're going to go into our

widgets I've got the clipboard I'm now

going to go to

appearance and widgets it says you wanna

save the poster say we don't just can

leave that head over to the widgets and

if you familiar with your sidebars

distance obviously where you add things

you've got the widgets here and they

obviously represent things in your

sidebar so at the moment of got news the

lights work and a combo widget so what

you need is the text widget which is

down here I'm going to just drag that up

and put this into this sidebar so this

is the displayed anywhere so everywhere

sidebar depending on your theme you're

going to have lots of other different

side bars where you can put stuff so

then what I'm going to do is I'm going

to paste that bit of code into the

widget give a title if you want i'm not

going to bother and just click Save so

that's done San I have to go back to the

website and go to one of the inner pages

there is my image looking lovely simple
