How to Add a WOOCOMMERCE CUSTOM TAB to the product page #Best Education Page #Online Earning

- In this video we're gonna be adding an extra tab

to a Woocommerce product, very useful if you need to add

extra information that sort of stuff.

So, let's get going.

Hello, it's Alex here from WPEagle,

thanks for watching, so in this video

we're gonna be adding an extra tab

to a Woocommerce product.

Something just like this.

It's a great way of adding some extra information

to your product so the tab can be called

whatever you like in this case we're selling

some food products we we're gonna use it to list

the ingredients, so let me get on the computer

and show you how it's done.

Okay, so this is the site that we're gonna be adding

the extra custom tab to.

It's a Woocommerce site obviously,

it's a site that I made just a couple weeks ago.

There's a video on my channel on how I made this

so be sure to check that out if you've got

a few hours to spend because it's quite a long video,

but I'll show you how to create this website

from nothing, I'll refer to this really cool website.

But anyway, let's have a look at one of these products.

I'll show you what we're gonna be doing.

By default, Woocommerce has a couple of tabs

as description and as a reviews one.

If you add attributes I believe in adds another one

with more information

but say you wanted to add something for your own use.

Which is what we're gonna be doing now,

I want to have a tab that lists the ingredients

of these cakes, and this is perfect for you.

So, to do that I'm gonna go into the dashboard

I'm already logged in.

Go to plugins and add new

we're gonna be using a free plugin to do this.

Then, if you type in yikes, Woocommerce tab,

oh I think I just saw it.

That's the one, click install now.

And click activate.

Okay, so that's activated.

So now, when we go into products,

let's have a look at a product,

let's find that chocolate cake,

there we go, click edit.

If we scroll down to the Woocommerce bit here,

we've got this custom tabs tab, oddly enough.

In here I can type ingredients

and then we can use some bullets.

I don't actually know what the ingredients are,

I'll need to get that off the client

whose site this is, but let's just add chocolate,

I can't spell chocolate.

What else has he got in it, chocolate,

it hasn't got flour, I'm gonna put flour for now

because I'm gonna need to get the ingredients

from the client.

That will do, that's fine.

If you want another tab, you can just click there

so you can have more than one,

but I just want the one for now.

Now that's done, let's click update.

Then click view product.

We've now got the ingredients tab

with our two ingredients chocolate and flour

which it doesn't contain flour, I know that

because it's wheat free.

But anyway, you get the idea so good luck with that

enjoy adding some extra tabs to your Woocommerce site.
