hey what is up this is Tyler Pratt and
in this video I want to talk to you
about Facebook Ads how to make them
convert into sales and leads for your
business and we're gonna do it like a
and you want to build your business and
you want to become total boss of your
life you want to be able to do the fun
things and you want to be able to travel
and have fun then Facebook Ads could be
a great way to generate leads and sales
for you now before we get in the video

online so recently I had an interaction
with somebody who was coming to me and
they wanted help with their Facebook ads
and they said that they've been spending
a lot of money on Facebook Ads they
spent close to around $500 and they were
paying around 80 cents a click they got
I think 500 leads I think through that
and I was like well that's great leads
but they weren't getting any sales and
to me that was that threw up a lot of
red flags number one it was a lot of
leads it was a lot of good leads eighty
cents was was pretty good it was very
good click to rate and but they were
gonna leave with no sales okay so I was
I was trying to figure out what's going
on with that now when I see those kind
of numbers the first thing that really
pops onto my mind is is the targeting is
not very good that means that the ads
are being put in front of the wrong
people now you might get a lot of leads
might get a lot of people onto your
email list
but it's just in front of the wrong type
of person for the you know for the
advertisement and for the end result
that you're trying to get with your
leads so you want to work on your
targeting okay so targeting is really
going to be who's the crowd you're going
to put your your you know your offer in
front of and that's it's really so
important because it's like if if
somebody is trying to lose weight and
you are let's say let's say there's a
group of people that are in their 40s
okay it's 40s women who want to lose
weight and your ad is kind of targeting
your your offer is targeting people
there who in their 20s that are trying
to lose weight it's just not not going
to mix up you're gonna get a lot of
leads because yeah they want to lose
weight but then they find out
your offers really for gear for people
that are trying to lose weight in their
20s it's not gonna really match up and
the same thing goes with business or
marketing there's a lot of business and
marketing things out there so you can be
putting your offer in front of people
that want to you know learn how to let's
say use Google AdWords okay and you're
trying to get people to get on a like a
network marketing business but all
they're interested in is Google Adwords
and building their business that way or
maybe they already have a traditional
brick-and-mortar business and they're
trying to use Google AdWords but they
see your ad and it talks about you know
making money online they click on it
they go through your funnel and they
realize that it's just another business
that they're not really interested in so
instead of putting your ad in front of
people like that you put your ad in
front of people who are already
interested and that we're marketing or
are already interested in business
opportunities type offers okay the way
you do that is when you're first getting
started online if you have a source of
traffic let's save a blog where you have
a way of generating traffic to a website
you want to make sure you put a pixel on
that website and you want to start
creating an audience from the traffic
that hit your website so if you're if
you're posting free traffic on let's say
YouTube or you're you know creating
videos on YouTube and you're sending
people to a page that has that you
control put a pixel on there and you
start generating an audience through
that pixel if you're building up an
email list that's going to be an
audience - so the cool thing is is is
you can take your existing email list
and you can upload it to Facebook Ads
and you can create an audience with
those emails so what will happen is
Facebook will take all those emails
they'll create an audience from that now
you might say well I only have like a
thousand people on my email list I only
have 500 people on my email list and
that's okay because what happens is it's
Facebook what they've done is they've
given people the ability to create a
look-alike audience so what what they do
is they'll take your existing 500 people
on your email list and they'll create
what this is called a look-alike
audience and they'll take those 500
people and they'll match they'll look
all over their database and they'll
create about a two million
person audience based on that 500 so you
can take 500 and you can expand it to
2,000,000 and when you do that you're
using Google or using Facebook's
targeting and their target is way better
than what you could do because if you're
gonna like go off and you're going to
target Tony Robbins or if you going to
target Russell Brunson or if you can
target some of these really big you know
guru type people in the business space
you're gonna be competing with a ton of
people out there that have huge budgets
and you're just gonna get crushed so the
better way to target is just using your
internal traffic your internal audience
and the smaller the audience that's
great but then you can expand on that
audience by creating that look-alike
audience using the Facebook ad platform
okay so that's the first thing I did was
was this person that came to me and they
said they got 500 leads I said great
let's just take those five leads and
let's create a look like audience from
them okay now I don't think that they're
that 500 leads was gonna be the the
greatest of targeting because they
weren't getting sales from that but it
doesn't mean that they couldn't find a
look-alike audience that's gonna work
for them so what they did was I had them
create a look like audience to two
million they started running ads to that
two million audience and malley started
to pick up some sales from that so those
sales started to come in from that big
huge look-alike audience so that's
really how you're gonna target the best
way because if you're new and you go
into a facebook ads and you start to
target some of these bigger you know
interests like I said Tony Robbins and
you have Russell Brunson and a lot of
these bigger gurus you're just gonna
you're gonna have a hard time you're
gonna struggle with those interests and
that's how you're gonna you know spend a
ton of money with Facebook and you're
not gonna get any sales because if
you're not getting any sales on the back
end you're just gonna be wasting money
you have to get sales on the back end in
order to take that money and reinvest it
back into building your list on Facebook
