show you how to do that okay it's very
simple is very easy you gotta really
just kind of put in the effort to make
it work for you so one great website and
I use this all the time it's gonna be
teachable calm okay so if you go to
teachable calm what it is that you can
create an online course and teachable
will handle everything for you they do
the website they do the payments
somebody comes there gets your product
they buy it they go to your training and
they'll handle everything for you now
the great thing about this is that once
you create your training you put it up
it can last for years okay and you could
be making money a year from now on
something you did today alright and you
could be making money in the morning in
the afternoon while you sleep while you
travel it doesn't really matter it's
just getting it up and getting it
running so I'm gonna show you some ideas
it might help you get up and running get
a course going for you now if you're
probably thinking yourself well I don't
know how to I don't know how to teach
somebody anything well let me ask you
this do you know how to turn on your
computer yes
great create a course on how to turn on
your computers okay how to turn on your
computers in your age group let's say
you're you're between the ages of 40
five and fifty how to turn on your
computer for men over the age of 40 okay
get creative like that now do you know
how to do you know how to take your your
smartphone and download apps
yes create a course around that create a
course on how to download smart
smartphone apps for people over 40 or
people in their 30s or if people are 20s
it doesn't really matter whatever your
age group is create a course on that let
me just show you a couple examples here
so here's a great example of a good
teachable course okay learning to create
classroom resources for your yourself
and others okay so here's a here's
courses that that looks like Rhonda has
$110 here here's a free course and
here's one for $119 Rhonda created this
course she put it up and she can sell it
over and over and over again with people
coming here so you click on up you know
and roll go there you sign up and you
can see down here you can see the
curriculum that she put together for
that so this would help teachers on
putting different lesson plans I guess
for their classroom let's look at
another one so here's one home made
entrepreneur so here's a couple of
courses $299 so affiliate marketing
monsters $209 Adams crushing him with it
and here's another one
Amazon Facebook 399 so he he's Adams
creating a course on Amazon and how to
use Amazon and uploading products or
getting physical products to Amazon how
you can sell it on in the marketplace
and he created this course once and he
people come here they could buy this
course they can get how to learn that
and then Adams gonna make money with
that let's look at another one here so
this one's going to be welcome to the
guitar endeavor school so if you know
how to do if you know how to you know
teach guitars or maybe know how to make
guitars maybe you know how to string
guitars you can create a course here so
the creative guitar is okay scales
method this is just one individual it's
all about scales $99 okay everything is
handle for you
teachable they handle it all for you
people come here they buy the product
teachable send you a check for it okay
here's another one it's going to be
the basic this is a tarik cards okay I
don't know much about tarik cards but I
just I just found this fascinating that
there's you know there's a niche for
everything there's something that people
are gonna want for everything here is
$15 a month and then here's a
masterclass for 109 87 dollars so you
can see that people can create any type
of course they want and put it up here
on teachable and then the last one here
is gonna be Instagram Academy I found
great course here one thousand four
hundred ninety seven dollars okay so if
somebody's gonna sign up for this
people would enroll get signed up okay
so this is a big course right here that
somebody's selling I mean could you
imagine selling one of these a month
you'd be crushing it okay maybe sold two
or three of these a month you could be
crushing it now to create a course it's
really very simple you're gonna use a
system called screencast-o-matic okay
this is a free recording program right
here okay so so you can record your
screen you can show people how to do
stuff you don't even need to get on
camera like this but you could show your
screen like that through
screencast-o-matic and then also
Camtasia another a great program that
you can sign up for a free trial okay
you can get signed up with that and then
that's gonna record your screen for
creating the course now all you have to
do is record your screen you you create
a what it's called mp4 files those files
will get uploaded and teachable and then
teachable handles everything for you
okay you don't have to worry about
anything else all right so here is the
breakdown at teachable okay so it's you
got a a free plan okay so you don't need
to get started they do have you know
basic plan there's a professional plan
and then a business plan but with the
free plan what it is is you can sign up
right now right with teachable okay you
can get started you can get your course
up you can start selling your course for
ninety nine dollars two hundred dollars
five dollars whatever you want to sell
your course for and you can charge
people this now the free with the free
plan though is going to be $1 fixed fee
plus ten percent of your course price
okay so 10 percent is pretty high for
your course but it's free you didn't
have to do anything so if if you have a
hundred our course
then they're gonna take teachable is
going to take about
ten or eleven dollars for that there's
giving about 2.9 percent some other
processing fees but 10 percent is going
to be a lot higher now if you do like
the business plan there's zero there's
basically zero fees they take out
professional plan is gonna be a lot of
two percent okay two percent is pretty
good it's a pretty good rate for
somebody that's handled all your courses
for you okay so you can start off with
the free plan which I recommend you
doing getting up and running you don't
even need a website they handle
everything for you
okay so if the free plan with teachable
right there now how are you gonna really
promote this well you can use Facebook
groups to promote this you can start
building an audience through Facebook
groups here's an example like if you if
you just go to Instagram you say
Instagram and Facebook marketing so you
could create a let's say you have a
training like this where's it at let's
say you have an Instagram training like
this 10-week Instagram monetizing course
for fourteen hundred dollars you could
create a Instagram group on Facebook for
free right you just you just go to
groups you sign up and then you can
start creating content and it's gonna
start to attract people to Instagram so
if you know how to use Instagram create
a course start to start giving some
content in your group and then you can
promote your course on teachable
somebody go you'll have a special link
people go there they sign up they get
your course and then you're going to be
able to make money with that that's how
you're going to to build up your
audience so just having that the course
online you build it you put it online is
not is kind of one part of the prop or
part of the challenge the other part is
going to get traffic to your teachable
site but once you get traffic to that
then money just starts to flow for you
okay so you got to have both no sense in
just creating the course and just
sitting there hoping for something to
happen it won't happen you got to go out
there and you got to really hustle and
make it happen
okay so teachable again teachable calm
and you can use the free plan or does
the free plan uh did I leave it up there
it is so the free plan with teachable to
get started all you have to do is just
sign up at the you know at the at
teachable calm create a course go in
there and then you start to take one of
these screencast-o-matic
screencast-o-matic right there okay free
recording for free so you record your
computer teach somebody how to do
something
put it up on teachable start making
money start promoting it through your
Facebook groups you can promote it
however you want I would just give you
an example of Facebook group it's
because it's a really good interactive
way of getting people attracted to
whatever course that you have and that's
all you have to do that'll get you up
and running quickly and you can set your
own price for any of these you know if
you want to set your price at $99 you
can if you want to set your price at you
know fourteen hundred and ninety seven
dollars you can it's totally up to you I
recommend hundred dollars or plus on
your course you definitely want to do if
you're gonna put the time if you're
gonna put the effort into it and you you
know you're gonna sell your course make
sure it's a higher
price course on teachable so there you
go go out there take action on it make
it happen for yourself and you'll start
to see success coming in if you do want
