Meet Jeff Jeff knows the one trait that all rich people have which he personally
is used to make millions and millions of dollars but Jeff hasn't always had this
knowledge and in this video I'll share with you Jeff's story and the one trait
you must have if you want to become rich Jeff's story begins in the mid 2000s as
a couple of years Jeff was already one of the top earners
in his town making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year with his large amount
of income jeff was able to live in a massive house drive a fancy car and his
wife Stacy was able to stay at home with his two kids Kaden Chiara for Jeff life
couldn't get any better and he was very grateful for all the success he had
achieved unfortunately tough times were ahead
news reports a warning of a possible recession in the upcoming year that
could affect countries all around the world
reports warned of a possible dip in the stock market and that many people would
be out of a job if this recession actually happened however Jeff was
unfazed as he was confident that as a top salesman in his industry there was
absolutely no chance he would be affected as year went on the market
began to dip and as predicted people began to lose their jobs
then one day Jeff was reviewing his sales reports and came to a shocking
realization he had sold any houses in the last month over the course of the
next three months Jeff continued to struggle to sell houses and he started
to get concerned as his savings were dwindling Jeff even wondered if his wife
would have to get a job to try and help pay the bills about a week later Jeff
went into his office and his boss came by his boss closed the door and told
Jeff they needed to have a chat Jeff got nervous as these types of conversations
were never positive his boss began to explain how the market is going through
tough times and that the company needs to lay off some employees and that Jeff
would be one of them Jeff sat there stunned and began to cry he had bills to
pay and a family to feed what was he to do the very next day
Jeff logged into his computer and began applying for jobs that same afternoon he
got a reply from a shoe company asking if he wanted to interview for their
traveling sales position Jeff was delighted by the new
and graciously accepted after completing his interview the manager offered Jeff
the job on the spot and welcomed him to their team Jeff began to feel a sense of
relief as he hoped this job would help relieve the financial struggles his
family had been facing for the past few months the manager then explained that
they would be sending Jeff to Kenya for two weeks to start selling their new
line of shoes before he knew it Jeff was on a 14 hour plane ride to Kenya with a
pair of shoes and the hopes of making a few sales the day after arriving Jeff
began walking the streets of Nairobi going shop to shop trying to show off
the company's new pair of shoes however each shop owner turned Jeff down and he
had no idea why he was such a proficient real-estate salesman how much different
could it be to sell some shoes as Jeff continued walking through the market he
looked down and realize that most people weren't even wearing shoes he thought to
himself no wonder I can't sell any shoes after this realization Jeff called it a
day and returned to his hotel later that evening Jeff sat at the hotel
bar when another man approached him the two men began shouting and Jeff
explained that he was a shoe salesman and to his delight his new acquaintance
fred was also in the business of selling shoes
Jeff remarked how am I ever gonna sell shoes here in Nairobi if no one even
wears them Fred smiled and said that's the point you're giving them something
they don't even have yet a light bulb went off in Jeff's head and the two men
laughed and continued to enjoy the rest of their night the next morning Jeff was
up early going shop to shop showing off the new shoe and explaining to the shop
owners all the benefits of wearing this shoe after a bit of effort the shop
owners began to realize what they were missing and to Jeff's alight many of
them began placing orders at the end of the two weeks in Kenya Jeff was eager to
report back to his boss on his recent success as he got into the office he ran
over to his boss's desk and showed him all the shoe sales he had racked up and
his boss jumped with excitement fast forward five years and Jeff is no longer
working at that shoe company instead Jeff has started his own business
selling environmentally-friendly shoes to wrote all about 4k and Asia which has
made him an immensely wealthy man so what was the trait that Jeff had to
learn in order to amass a significant amount of
the one character trait that Jeff had to develop was the ability to see
opportunities you see like 99% of others when first landing in Africa he saw no
hope in selling shoes to people who didn't even wear them until he changed
his perspective and realized what a marvelous opportunity he had in front of
him this opportunistic trait can be seen in
numerous success stories like Bill Gates who took advantage of his access to
computers well before anyone even knew what a computer was or Reed Hastings who
saw the potential in streaming movies and shows online when everyone else is
still interrupting physical copies so in your day to day life open your mind and
