hello everybody is Alex here from WP
Eagle calm and today I want to quickly
take you through one of my favorite
different websites it's a theme called
propulsion it's by an author web
developer called Creasy pricey clacey
not much why you pronounce it but anyway
it's a really great theme it's available
for sixty dollars from themeforest and
it really really is flexible and packed
full of features and as have used a
number of different sites and yeah it's
always done what I needed to let's look
at a few sites that I made with it and
you can see the flexibility and this was
the first one it was for obviously a
cleaning company and it's nice and clear
and clean and you know a great way of
showing off the services includes lots
of nice images other things forms they
were added to it all works really well
and it's even got ecommerce provided by
WooCommerce which is as you know a great
free wordpress woo commerce platform
another one was this one again nice
clean and clear layout different font
different color scheme and again this
uses a shopping cart with in a secure
members area using which is provided by
wish list the wishlist membership plugin
and last one is this one for a company
called heuristics and again nice and
clean and clear and let the sites do
look similar they also look different so
let's take a look at the thing
as I said it's available to buy from
themeforest and so make sure you get
over there purchase it sixty dollars
i'll put a link and below this video so
you can easily find it and once you
install the site we'll go back to our
double eagle test site and you saw the
theme activate it and this is what
you're presented with so let's have a
look in the back end and just see the
kind of options that you get with the
theme and that makes it so easy so
here's a look at some of the options
that you get with a potion let's go
through them and you can see if it's got
everything that you need I'm not going
to spend too long messing around with it
but towards in this video we'll have a
quick play and see what we can come up
with so here we go so this is the
general theme options you obviously set
your front page once you've coated a
page you upload your logo your favicon
and this is the top banner message which
is this little thing here which you
could have or not it's up to you you add
your Facebook stuff your Twitter you
dribble and anything else that you need
and I'll see you google analytics
tracking code but I'd recommend it use a
plug-in for that and I've got a video on
that that you can check out and take a
look at the channel so when it comes to
styling it is a really easy team to
change the colors and do other kind of
CSS stuff that normally you'd have to
get into the code on so it comes with a
whole load of kind of built-in kind of
themes let's just set scion and see what
happens on the front let's change all
the different elements to the new colors
yep here we go and you can set a
background image and it comes actually
bundled with a few different ones so
let's try grunge and you know you can
set it to repeat or whatever let's see
if that's what I'm not sure if we need
to set
the theme style it comes with a boxed
and a wide type layout and let me just
see what we've got it we've got it on
the stretch I think if we put it we need
to be on the boxed in order to get a get
a background going on so let's just
refresh this again
whenever I make a video it is easy to go
slow I'll come back to that in a sec
let's a look at some more settings this
is your general layout settings you know
which side to side bar goes and your
other page layout long expensive on it
comes with a portfolio again oh it's
been too long in here but you know you
basically you can upload load of images
or other things and show them off in a
real nice way I've actually used it on
this site and show off their clients and
you can actually put things in different
categories and then it kind of
rearranges them based on the categories
so you know if we click on a category
all kind of each other but also you
could use this for photographs or rough
your work done for clients it comes
built in with contact page and you know
a very customizable form you know you
can set all the fields and you can
create different side bars for different
pages so you can select a category that
should get a new widget area or a page
and is the footage again you can select
the number of columns so as you can see
just from the general options it's
really really flexible theme and while
this is not working I don't know what
was going on just there but the slight
just went real slow so I closed the tab
opened it up again I back into settings
one of times I've set a body background
color which is the color of this you see
at the moment of backgrounds leaking
through to it I selected another
background on a knife that was slowing
down the soil whatever but we've gone
for wall diagonal and
I've yeah let's see what happens
we can even change that to purple let's
see what happens
hey we change that we've got the white
background we got the striped background
there so everything seems to be working
now the most powerful part of this theme
is what's called the template builder
and that basically allows you to create
really really flexible and pages so
let's call this just a test template and
Hospital template but doesn't matter and
basically you can do is you can actually
add loaded four elements from wordpress
and other areas and i'm basically create
your own page so every sample we could
start of soup with a heading which is
the main heading across the top you get
a few settings and you know you can
create a custom heading or you can use
whatever and the pages that you using
and let's add some more or whatever said
the same thing again very easy to remove
elements luckily and you say well it's
full width or whether it got a sidebar
let's add you know some content from a
postal page and again you can either
choose a particular post or page and
it's just hello world for this example
and let's add some other people so you
know if see wanted to have some columns
so nice columns maybe with paging one
and a post any other that's fine column1
content let's select the page let's just
call it a the sample page and come to
contact us pick up post and again you
could just pick from a certain category
or you can select a single post on leave
I know maybe not just from a category or
you can just type something in with a
direct text or more flexibility you can
use a widget it's got so many features
it's unbelievable so let's save this and
then let's we need to talk to you then
just create a page and apply a template
so let's call this but a test template
page and what you do is you simply
upsies comes with built-in slideshow and
which is great you know you can add a
slider to any page but what I want to do
is just select the template so the
layout is over here dynamic template and
there's our template spelling correct
publish view
here we go that's our sample page are
selected and here's some posts from that
category and here's of the page so again
you know really flexible really easy to
use great theme highly recommend it you
can buy it and you can create low slayer
different websites out the box easy to
use what I do is I might cut with a more
in-depth tutorial in the future if
people want it if you do leave in the
